About: I have always had animals around in my life. Overall, I have had the pleasure of having 8 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, and lots of fish (both freshwater and saltwater). Additionally, I have had the opportunity to care for the cats of family members. I have experience with: -Positive Reinforcement Training -Leash Handling -Muzzle Usage -Reactivity Training Guided by Licensed Animal Behaviorists -Veterinary Medication Administration Currently, I have one dog, Josie, who is an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler Mix. Josie is dog reactive, and I have spent an extensive amount of time working on her training and care. I am currently available to provide pet care Monday-Thursday from 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Oftentimes, I am also available to provide pet care at any time on Saturdays or Sundays. I have availability at any time during the day during these days in July 2026: 7/10, 7/11, 7/18, and 7/31. Since I have a dog at home who is anxious and reactive, I am not able to care for your pet in my own home; however, I would love to care for your fur baby where they are most comfortable -- in your home or in your neighborhood. I typically arrive with small treats in a pouch to share, ensuring my greeting is always positive. While at your home, I will ensure your pet receives exercise/play, multiple potty breaks, and refill water/food as needed. I believe in positive reinforcement, ensuring my interactions with your pet are always kind and respectful.

About: I love taking care of dogs. I will walk your dog in the Spring, Summer and Fall in good weather. Your dog will have my 3 year old Maltese to play with. I’m CPR trained and if needed, with calling you first, take your dog to my home town ER hospital (hope we never need to use that). Your dog must be potty trained for outside. My grandchildren all love dogs, they visit sometimes. I have been with dogs all my life. So rest assured I’ll take care of your dog while I take care of mine and my grandchildren. I will have play time and potty breaks. Will try to teach your dog new tricks. I’ve taken training classes with Pet Smart. You won’t regret placing your pet with me.
“Jenna did great and was very flexible. She even got some pets in with my rabbit who is usually wary of strangers or people in general so im very happy with the job she did!”

About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
“Mya was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and she went above and beyond any expectations! She cared for my animals so well and kept me updated which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend.”

“Crystal was great with Murphy. She was on time, respectful of our training regimen and was a great help with burning off some of Murphy's puppy energy. We will definitely use her again.”

I am very responsible, attentive, and outgoing which are all some qualities I think are very important when it comes to taking care of dogs. I am looking forward to meeting you and your sweet dog(s)! I am a stay at home mom and have a lot of downtime to spend some time with your dogs. Pet care is a job for me and my schedule is very flexible! I have crate training experience. My neighborhood is very safe and I live in a house with a lot of trees and woods so the dogs can run around. There are not too many dogs around, so you won’t have to worry about other dogs!

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities throughout my life, from puppy stages to senior care. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, administering medications, and giving pets the attention and patience they need to feel safe and happy. I understand how important it is to follow routines closely and make sure every pet is cared for as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or extra care, I’m here to provide a reliable and loving experience you can feel confident in. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for last-minute bookings, drop-ins, and walks throughout the day. I’m currently looking to spend my time doing something meaningful while earning extra income, and caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I treat every pet with the same level of care, attention, and love that I give my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while following any routines or instructions you provide.
About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and have a lot of hands on experience with different personalities and needs! I have a German Shepherd and a Boxer, so I’m very used to larger dogs, higher energy, and the kind of attention some dogs need to feel settled and happy. I’m very comfortable with dogs that are more anxious or take a little time to warm up, as well as seniors or pets that need medication or a more specific routine. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and figuring out what makes them feel their best—it’s one of my favorite parts of doing this! My work from home schedule is pretty flexible, which makes it easy for me to work around what your pet needs. 🙂 I’m available mornings, mid-day, evenings, and overnights, including weekends. Pet care is already part of my daily routine, so I’m not rushing through visits. I make sure your pet gets real time, attention, and care! I keep things safe, simple, and easy for pets to settle into. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can get outside time, and I always supervise while they’re out. Inside, things stay clean and calm, and I can give pets their own space if they need a break or some quiet time. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, so I’m prepared if anything unexpected comes up—but most of all, I focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for the entire time!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
