“Elena was very kind and patient with Mika on her first walk. I appreciate the insight she brings to caring for our dog. Mika is looking forward to her next visit.”

About: I grew up with dogs and so I have experience caring for dogs from their puppy years to their senior years. I am also the resident pet sitter in my family and so I have experience caring for other people's dogs. I want you to feel worry-free knowing your dog is in loving hands! I am currently job searching while I am in between jobs and so my schedule is flexible to work with you and your pet's needs! I will be attentive to your dog's needs and follow all instructions that you leave. I will spend quality time with your dog along with feeding, walking, and playing with them!

About: As someone who has personally cared for six dogs at once—including different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels—I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, calm, and cared for when you're away. I’m naturally organized, reliable, and attentive to routines, whether that means scheduled walks, feedings, medications, or crate time. I treat every pet with the same respect and attention I’d give my own. Whether it's a high-energy pup who needs playtime or an older dog who prefers quiet companionship, I adapt to what your dog needs most. I also keep communication clear and consistent—expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind. If you're looking for a responsible sitter who respects your home and genuinely enjoys caring for animals, I’d love to connect. I have no problem taking special instructions from owners being that some breeds need to be taken care of differently. Dogs have always been special to me and being a dog sitter/care giver is a great opportunity. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is pretty much open at the moment! I prefer the mornings over afternoons but whichever the customer prefers. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize comfort, routine, and respect—for both the pet and the space. I stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule, whether that includes feeding times, walks, crate time, or medications. I give pets plenty of attention and play, while also being mindful of their energy levels and boundaries. I always clean up after myself (and them), and make sure your home is just as you left it—or better. I check in regularly with photo updates and am available if you have any specific instructions or changes. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, relaxed, and loved while you're away—without disrupting their normal environment.

“So grateful to have someone that can walk my large breed gentle giant of a dog. David knows how to handle her, this is what is important to me. Roxy is a reactive pure bred German Shepherd so it’s not easy walking her but I have full confidence in David and his experience with dogs. It’s a blessing and I’m lucky to have found him. Thank you David.”

“Durell and Michael are WONDERFUL! Durell walked our 44lb pit mix Winter every morning for me. She was amazing and my Winter loves her so much! Durell showed up with a smile and Winter was excited to go every day. We will DEFINITELY be re-booking Durell and Michael for future walks and maybe even boarding.”

“Diana was amazing! I needed a last minute dog walk and she was very quick to respond and flexible. Her communication was great! I would recommend her to anyone. Will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

I am currently working a hybrid schedule with some flexibility on days in office. I am home most of the time as I have a toddler and fur baby at home. All dogs in my home are treated as my own; there are toys, ample walks, park time and healthy treats for good behavior. Routines work great for my dog so I am happy to continue your routine for your pup.

About: I am a firm believer in treating owners pet as if it was a child. I believe just like a child a pet should have manners while being allowed to still be a a wild furry creature. I have worked for the Animal Medical Center the ASPCA ACC and Veterinary Emergency Refferal Group. In all those places i saw nothing but animals being hurt and since then I make sure in anything I do with animals I provide customized care for each one so that they feel the same love they would feel as if the owner was right there. I always aim to make sure they leave my care happy and healthy and wanting to return to come back and enjoy staying with us again I manage a day daycare so your dog will spend the day frolicking with other furry friends and then spend the night with me at my apt with 1 of my boys as a friend! Sara G.
“I have used Sara's pet sitting services for about 4 years. She is very trustworthy and reliable. My dog loves her and she even brushes his teeth. I give her 5 stars!”

Haili D.
“Haili watched our two English Bulldogs for 6 nights/7 days and to say she was amazing is an understatement! My dogs are not easy to handle and she did it like a pro. My 68 lb male loves walks, he's really strong and can really pull and she had no problems handling him three times a day. Being bulldogs, they have plenty of medical issues and she literally handled all forms of meds including eye drops, ear drops, pills and even oral meds via syringe (lactulose for anyone who has a baby w/ stomach issues) and she did all this with no problem or pushback. She was very attentive and responsive when we checked in while giving us our space and not reaching out for every little thing so we can enjoy our vacation. She left the place just like we left it and cleaned up well considering my female vomits a lot and uses wee wee pads for all her bathroom breaks. She was very professional and sweet and I'd highly recommend her for any pet walking or sitting!”

“Thank you so much for walking my dogs. They looked happy and well taken care of! Will definitely reach out again when we need a dog walker!!!”

Taina C.
“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Taina to care for my 4 year old Frenchie. From the moment I contacted her, she demonstrated professionalism and a genuine love for animals that immediately put me at ease. She arrived exactly on time and asked detailed questions about my dog’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs he might have. This attention to detail reassured me that she was committed to providing the best care possible. Throughout our interactions, her kindness shone through. She spoke gently to my dog and made an effort to engage him in play right away. It was clear that she understood how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable with their caregivers. Her warm demeanor helped my dog relax quickly, which is often a challenge when introducing new people into his environment. During her time caring for my dog, I received regular updates and photos that showcased their activities together. It was heartwarming to see how much fun they were having! She took him on long walks, played tug with his favorite toys, and even worked on some basic training commands. My dog seemed genuinely happy and well-cared-for during her visits. I cannot recommend Taina enough. Her promptness, kindness, and ability to connect with my dog made all the difference during my time away. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet with love and respect while ensuring their needs are met, look no further!”

Marquis T.
“I must say I am very pleased with the work that Marquis does. He proved me wrong. My dog has been so hard headed for the past couple of months. Not listening and just in his own world honestly. I don’t have the time to cater to him like I should. I found Marquis and he assured me he could correct my dogs bad habits. We spoke he told me what I needed to do after he worked with him in order for it to stick. I dropped my dog off for a few days and when I returned my dog was well behaved. Shocked me but I was impressed. Marquis will be my personal go to guy!!! Thank you for being so amazing Marquis. See you soon”

Caty F.
“We trust Caty implicitly to care for our elderly cats and anxious dog. She is conscientious and capable regarding all forms of pet care—from medication administration to meal prep, walks and companionship. We highly recommend her.”

Jenny C.
“Jenny is quite possibly the best person ever when it comes to trusting your dog with someone. She is my family’s go-to person to look after my dog, Monty, whenever my family goes on vacation and she always goes above and beyond for him. Monty also just gets so excited to see her! Jenny has shown to us time and time again that not only is she great with dogs, she is also responsible, trustworthy, and so caring.”

“Justin loves dogs! He is a great trainer and loving person. I’ve seen him interact with dogs and the love him. It doesn’t just stop at dogs he’s an animal person. He’s a responsible and reliable guy and any one that tries he’s services will see that!”

Bryce C.
“I am Bryce’s mother and ever since he was a little boy he would save any animal, whether it be a cat on a window ledge or a butterfly on the floor that can’t fly. He was raised with 2 cats and a dog basically his whole life. Our cats lived until they were both about 21, and our dog is 11. No one took it harder than Bryce when we lost our pets. Now as a grown man Bryce shares a dog with his girlfriend and they are best friends. I can’t think of anyone better to help with other people’s pets.”
New Brighton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily came to my home and met me and my Dottie. She is a very delightful young lady and Dottie took to her immediately. I got a pic of Dottie smiling and happy and enjoying her walk. Emily was patient with me. Took time to explain how to use the app to enter my bldg. I’m new here. I look forward to future walks on days that I can’t do it myself. I have physical issues and it’s difficult for me to walk Dottie most days. I truly appreciate Emily’s understanding and assistance.

Mina (Nermina) is very sweet with my dogs. They absolutely look forward to their walks with her. My dogs are both pullers and squirrel crazed but she handles them very well! She is accepting of suggestions like left side walking, a sit at street crossings and walking paths. I am so much stricter on my walks with my dogs- she allows them more freedom to sniff and look. I recommend Mina for your dogs!

Indhu went above and beyond taking care of Yoshi and Butters this weekend. My boys are both around ~70lbs and Indhu was able to successfully walk both around my community and also went above and beyond. She typically fosters doggies and knows how to take care of a vast range of doggie personalities. Knowing I was away today, she offered treats and water to my boys, and came prepared after asking all the right questions about and bespoke requests of what would be needed in my unique community. Thank you so much and looking forward to working with you again!
