About: I love to care for animals and over the years I’ve enjoyed looking after dogs, cats, chickens- even pigs! Getting to know each pet’s unique personality is one of my favorite parts of the job. I believe every animal deserves care that is detailed to their needs & I’ll work with you to create a routine that feels familiar, fun and safe. Whether you’re away for the day, at work or on vacation, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your pets getting lots of love attention and care - just like at home. I’m at home during all dog sitting. I live in a safe, walkable area near a grassy park. I can travel to you for care, exercise and walking. Fenced yard, sun and shade, doggy pool, time for walks, play, napping. My pooch has seizures, so I have dealt with this quite a bit. Can administer medicines as well.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: Fully vaccinated even have a booster shot and work at Paradise Pet Resort as a Dog Play supervisor. Have been petsitting since I was a kid and have volunteered many times at Sonoma County Animal Shelter and even worked at Sonoma Humane Society. Currently have a beagle and 2 cats. Through petsitting and volunteering I also learned to give meds including insulin and learned to care for all different size dogs and cats from small to large. My favorite part is getting to know your pets and spending time with them. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish and even small mammals such as hamsters and guinea pigs. Even have watched some chickens before. Have an AA in Natural Science and working towards another AA in Natural resources then I get into internships from there. Work at a pet resort. Typically take care of them In the morning and try to come somewhere in the middle of the day to check on them and feed them at night. I check in on them 2-3 times a day and if needed I can stay with them at night. Will walk them at least 30 mins or more 2x a day unless asked other wise cats I will try to spend time with them unless they don’t come won’t chase them. Will clean up after them make sure they have necessities and play with them.

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

About: Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a passion for animals, and animal care. I genuinely love working with them, dogs are my strong point, and I have years of experience as well as have some training under my belt. I also am experienced in handling reptiles and large livestock! 🥰 I also wanna state that I can and am always willing to help out, however I do have a job I work Monday through Friday during the early afternoon to evening, so usually anything after 4 or 5pm works for me best! I work part time at a dealership in Santa Rosa, so I do have a lot of free time! I don’t mind over nights, and I don’t mind early mornings if need be! I’m very flexible with my schedule! Tell me what you need and I’ll do my best to accommodate your requests! I am very trustworthy, and since I love all animals I will always go above and beyond to treat your fur-babies like royalty! Animals are so important to me, sometimes I enjoy their presence more than people! I have experience in the veterinary technician field and all my friends and family say I am great with animals. Usually pets or animals come up to me when they don’t like others! I would treat your fur-babies as if they were my own, ALWAYS!

About: Hi! I'm Sarah. I love all animals and like to give them the care and love they deserve! I’ve had pets all my life. I'm kind, positive, gentle, and calm. My patience and calm demeanor allow animals to feel very comfortable around me. I have experience giving cats subcutaneous fluids 3x/wk for 7 months, oral meds (liquid and pill form for 1.5 years), facials, baths, and showers. and I'm sensitive & observant to animals' needs. I do my best to understand animal behavior and what they're communicating. When I adopted my cats, Sparkles & Zorro, they truly adopted me as their mom. They were a few months old & I was 10. I was their person, and the only one Sparkles completely trusted. They passed in 2019 & 2024. My dad and I found and revived a young robin from a flood after a tornado. When I come across wildlife or strays in need, I will go to the ends of the earth to help. In college I had a zoology emphasis & interned at an exotic wildlife rehabilitation center. I have volunteered at a local animal shelter washing dogs, cleaning kennels, & socializing with cats & dogs. I also volunteered at a farm animal sanctuary. We began rescuing cats since the LA wildfires and I fostered one. With a positive attitude and a readiness to learn, I'd complete the tasks assigned, giving attention to the animals as I go along. After finishing my work on the sanctuary, I'd thoroughly socialize with the animals, spending time in different barns/rooms each week so that all, from pigs to cats, receive equal attention. My skills allow me to notice a creature in need of help and be an advocate until the animal is safe and/or in the right hands. In addition to being an animal-lover, I am a people-person who enjoys the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team. About: I have experience caring for multiple dogs at a time, including caring for three dogs in one household and two dogs in another. I was responsible for their daily care and making sure they were safe, fed, exercised, and comfortable. Managing several dogs at once taught me how to stay patient, attentive, and organized, even when they were energetic or had different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and would treat every pet in my care like they were my own. I only have a college class twice a week for only one hour of my day and I have a part-time job that is only certain days of the week. Rover will be the perfect fill-in for all that extra time that I have, and I will always put my customers first. I live in a very mellow neighborhood where there are also many dogs around me where people are walking their dogs and having them on leashes, I live in an apartment that is very dog friendly and I will spend all of my time taking the dog or taking it out on the grass, we do have a dog area at my apartment.

About: Hello! I love caring for peoples' pets! Recently relocated from Vermont. Certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, committed to ongoing professional development for safety, enrichment and pet care best practices. I offer services around a part-time job, so if I am available, I am not going to go to work that day. Dog Walking appointments are available during daylight hours unless otherwise arranged. I live close to downtown and can drive or bike to you as well. We have space for one or two small or medium dogs to stay with us or attend to dogs or cats of any size in their own home. If I am not staying over, I will schedule between 1-3 visits per day depending on the needs of the pet(s). My home is small and shared with my own dog, but we have a fenced yard. I will look after your pet(s) with safety and fun foremost in mind!

About: I've owned at least one pet consistently since I was 5 years old. I was a pre-vet major when I started college, have worked in veterinary offices, volunteered at the humane society and have been pet sitting for years. I absolutely adore animals and love having them around. I work full time from home and share custody of my son and my dog who are with me (about) every other week. Both my dog and my son love animals are are very friendly, kinda and loving to all pets and they both love to play with other dogs! I have a cat at home as well who is dog friendly and sometimes plays with my dog or will hide when not in the mood. Pet care is a daily routine for me. We'd love for your furry friend to join our walks and home for lots of fun and play while you're away! I take great pride in learning what makes your pets the most comfortable while you're away. If you prefer me to stay in your home that is of course the least stressful for your furbaby. If you prefer I host your furbaby(s) at my home, my cat and dog (depending on the time you book) will keep them company and have lots of play time and snuggles! I have a small fenced yard but nearby dog parks and homemade treats! Because I work from home dogs are given daily walks and several opportunities to go to the bathroom outside. If a dog goes to the bathroom in the house repeatedly, a $150 cleaning fee will be added to your booking. I make every effort to work with you and the dog to prevent this but if it continues the fee will be added to your stay.

About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.
