About: I am a pet sitter full time. I have been certified as a professional pet sitter thru Pet Sitters International. We have a doggie door and a fenced in secure yard. Our house is air conditioned for those hot summer days. I provide walks and baths if needed. There are numerous wineries in the area if you'd like to enjoy a day of tasting or try one of our great restaurants and leave your pets with me. I can also feed and care for your dog or cat at your home if preferred (Hopland to Healdsburg and surrounding area. I have 2 small dogs of my own. Please make sure your pup is up to date in all vaccinations before any overnights or daycare. Overnights at your house or mine. Your pup will be very well cared for and may not want to go home. I can provide drop in visits at hotels for those visiting in the area. I can also chaperone your pet during your wedding and provide transportation. A long walk after breakfast is always a must. We come home for a little rest. And then around midday we go out back for some ball playing and fetching followed by a little sunbathing. Pets safety is always the number one priority. Pets will always be on leash while outside the home. Back yard is securely fenced. I have a dog gate up by front door so I dog can not run out if front door is opened.

I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. About: I grew up with lots of dogs and cats and have always had a lot of love for animals. I’m very attentive to their body language and behavior and do my best to understand what they need and what makes them feel comfortable. I also enjoy training my own pets, especially for their safety and the safety of others, while understanding that every dog is different and needs a different approach. About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with a lovable dog named Marley (in my profile picture). At just 10 years old, I started walking dogs around my neighborhood, and that grew into a passion for pet care. About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more.
