“We are new to the area so did not know anyone to ask for dog care, so I found Elliot totally organically via Rover and am glad I did. Elliot was awesome. We had him house/dog sit for us for close to a week and he was great. Very responsive and understanding when the dates of our trip got moved around. Also he was able to swing by and let the dogs out again when our flights got delayed. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home and seem like they loved him. We will be asking (hoping) Elliot can dog sit for us again in the future.”

I am a retiree that has a fairly open schedule and able to spend the night at your home. I may need to leave for an hour two at times for health appts. and going to our home to let our own dog out for a bit. I am flexible on how to care for your dogs in your home, including using a crate. I will respect your current ways of sharing your home with your dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I just graduated from college, so I have a relatively free schedule as I transition, and would love to dedicate that time to animal care! About: I've been lucky enough to share most of my life with dogs, as well as a cat that worshiped me for about 15 years. I'm able to quickly form connections with animals of all kinds, and have rarely encountered a dog or cat that didn't like me, including several deemed "difficult" by others. I also have experience working in a veterinary clinic that offered boarding services. My time spent with my pets is the most rewarding part of my life, and neighbors often comment on how lucky my dogs are to have me. I'm currently looking for work and have put in applications at pet boarding and daycare facilities. In my last job, I provided support for adults with developmental disabilities, but the work was a little bit too emotionally intense for me, despite it being highly rewarding. My dogs are always on my mind, and I walk them at least three times a day. My schedule is currently completely open, and I'd love to use my time caring for your pets! I walk my dogs, including my brother's dog Rosie,at least three times a day and they receive plenty of engagement with other dogs in the neighborhood. Lila can be difficult with some smaller dogs, so boarding wouldn't really be possible at this time.

As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

Trust me to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve while you're away! 🐶🐱🐾 I have a few years of personal experience with caring for animals along with a few years of work by along side a local humane society helping foster furry friends till they find their forever home. With me currently working from home I have a pretty open availability to work with different pets and on their schedules. I am available to take them out or on walks as need and at set times. I do not have a fenced in yard but we do have a pretty safe and big yard for your dog to roam around in and always provide leads for them to play outdoors safely. I also have a spacious living area for them to roam around freely indoors with plenty of toys and our own dog and cat to keep them company.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child growing up in a household full of animals. I'm used to all dog sizes, breeds, and ages, having had a pitbull, chow chow, and elderly dogs myself. I'm here to put your mind at ease that your pet is in great hands :) I'm also a plant lover and have a green thumb, if you need any plant care! I'm currently working remotely, so I can adapt my schedule to your pets needs. Early in the morning, around lunch hours, and after 6pm is best for drop-ins, and my remote work allows me to stay over on nights / house sit if needed. I will always approach your pet however best you recommend - every pet is different, and I want to be sure I respect the ways that work best for them to adjust to having a new person in their home. Of course, I always use a soft voice, treats, and affection to ease them into it.
