“Amelia was great with our gang of three. She was spot on with the notes we left for her, as my in-laws were also very impressed with her. She sent us pictures of them, as we felt comfortable being away those days. When we returned home, everything was nice and neat. There was no panic with the dog and cats, as we usually return home to find fiber lost from their coats. So, they must have been comfortable with them as well. We do know the night we came home; they kept looking at the front door to see if she was returning, again. We look forward to her home services again in the near future. Yes, we would recommend her.”

About: I grew up in a home that had many different kinds of pets- from pups to kitties, to rabbits & guineas! I love being able to give them the love that I would give my own. I have a golden girl of my own now that is my best friend, and I hope to share that love to your fur babies. I am currently working part-time only, so I have the ability to care for your babies around that schedule and what works best for you! My golden girl can be kept in her own space at home, so that I am able to provide a safe space for yours, if needed. She is free to roam when I am home, and is also very comfortable around other animals.

I’m mindful about feeding, treats, and household hazards, and I’m happy to do meet-and-greets for comfort and fit.

About: I love dogs and have had or been around dogs my whole life. I would dog sit for neighbors while they were out of town at a young age and have always had a pup in the family growing up. I will love your pup like my own and take steps to ensure your pup is happy and healthy. Currently, i have a part time job that I adore, but need to fill in the gaps of not being full time. I am available to do check ins throughout the day and have all weekends off to provide care and support. I am an early riser, so I will be available all day for any pet services you may need. Should my current availability change, all clients will be given appropriate notice and I will do my best to continue working with clients to find a schedule that works for the both of us. I currently do have a fenced-in yard and I am within walking distance of some great walking trails and downtown Buena Vista. I also have access to a house in Fairfield that is on a 2 acre lot and has a 40 foot dog run line. Working with whatever is comfortable and convenient for you and your four legged friends, I will ensure that their time with me is filled with play and exercise.

Experienced in dog walking, schedules, animal feedings and house sitting. A lil background about me ~ I am a retired elementary teacher switching careers into Counseling/Therapy, starting school this Fall 2026. My partner and I have a sweet labradoodle named Bliss and and a plump elderly cat named Elvira. We have rescued and cared for dogs and 4 plus cats together. I have a huge heart for elderly cats/dogs and those that are shy of personality. Let me know if your animal takes time to warm up! I am patient, compassionate and a natural caretaker at heart. Alternatively, I love the playful and outgoing ones too! I have experience in administering medications also, especially with Elderly or finicky cats as I have cared for many of my own. My schedule is open and flexible at this time. My lifestyle has allowed for me to maintain a pretty open schedule and take work as needed. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10,family friends and neighbors have trusted me and I love animals I treat them just like big babys!! About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.
