I grew up taking care of my pets, both cats and dogs, and I currently have a goldendoodle that I absolutely adore! I have also been entrusted to take care of my friend’s pets while they were away. From my experience, I know that no pet is the same. I get to know your pet and learn to care for them in a way that is unique and special to them! I currently work full-time during the week, but am available for boarding on the weekends and most holidays. I am also available evenings and weekends if your pet needs to have a potty break or go on a walk! For visits in your home, I prefer to meet prior to my initial visit to go over instructions and expectations and to have a meet and greet with your pet. For boarding in my home, your pet will be able to have full access to the house or they can be crated if that is what is preferred. About: I’ve always had a pet dog. Our dog is older (10) but she is still energetic and loves other dogs! This will be a family effort to take good care of your beloved pet! I am currently home full time. I already care for our own pet so adding another would be seamless. Your pet is welcome to join my home! I have a backyard for them to run around in. I worked at the Virginia Tech Dairy, milking cows and feeding calves, during my time as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. I currently own a horse and I have two dogs. I have two acres at my house, it’s not fenced in but I have gps fence collars. I have access to a large farm and river frontage where your dog can be thoroughly exercised with permission. They will be let out, fed their breakfast, and exercised first thing in the morning. They will be let out or walked every 4 hours or less. I will either leash walk your pet or I do have a gps fence e collar available. My dogs are very friendly and playful. They get along with all dogs from teeny pocket beagles to huge hounds and everything in between.

About: I love all animals. I have watched neighbors & friends/ family’s fur babies. I will take your fur baby on walks and to dog parks. I am available Monday threw Sunday at any time after 8am. If it’s a emergency, I will take your fur baby before 8am. I look forward to meeting your fur baby. All dogs will be on a leash when I take them out to use the bathroom. I do not have a fenced in backyard. I only crate animals if you request that and you provide your own crate. Other wise I allow all animals to roam the house freely.

I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Allowing them to be where they feel the most comfortable.

I work a job that has a flexible schedule, I do not have any prior commitments on weekends and any pet sitting jobs I book will become top priority. Pets should be treated with just as much respect as any person. Introducing yourself, acting calm and kindly, and also reading body cues and signs to make sure they remain comfortable at all times.
About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.

About: I have had a variety of animals my whole life! I absolutely love being around animals and spending time with them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, all the way from newborn to seniors! I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! I will have plenty of time to tend to your animals and take care of their needs. I have a very large unfenced yard that would be great for leashed activities like walking and going potty. I also have a fenced area that’s perfect for some unleashed outdoor time. I would keep any pets inside most of the time to ensure safety while I am with them. I do have a crate that I could keep your pet in while I am at work (if your baby is crate trained). All animals are allowed to roam the house and sleep in the bed if that’s allowed at home!

About: Welcome to my page! My name is Tracy and I would love to take care of your pet. I grew up taking care of my pets, both cats and dogs, and I currently have a goldendoodle that I absolutely adore! I have also been entrusted to take care of my friend’s pets while they were away. From my experience, I know that no pet is the same. I get to know your pet and learn to care for them in a way that is unique and special to them! I currently work full-time during the week, but am available for boarding on the weekends and most holidays. I am also available evenings and weekends if your pet needs to have a potty break or go on a walk! For visits in your home, I prefer to meet prior to my initial visit to go over instructions and expectations and to have a meet and greet with your pet. For boarding in my home, your pet will be able to have full access to the house or they can be crated if that is what is preferred. I live in a great neighborhood for walking and I also have a screened in porch that is great for napping!
