2. Emily B.
“Mong her friends and associates, Emily is well known as an animal lover and has taken care of pets her entire life. She has a keen understanding of the psychology and body language of animals, and has always treated them with the kindness and respect needed to gain the trust of an animal. Emily has personally pet-sat for me, and within 12 hours managed to develop a lovely companionship with my particularly shy and anxious cat.”

5. Katie C.
“Katie is amazing. She has taken excellent care of our two dogs and cat. We always feel at ease knowing they’re in excellent hands while we’re away. She always goes above and beyond and will sometimes just hang out with them for a while even when she’s only coming for a drop in or walk. I highly recommend her!!”

7. Alexis R.
About: I've been pet-sitting for more than half my life... dogs, cats, and even some rabbits so far!!! I love meeting new pets, and getting to know what makes them content and happy. I promise to go above and beyond any expectations you might have, and make sure your pets are pampered while we're together. I'm currently available 24/7 for pet care. My schedule is totally flexible for whatever your needs may be, usually with a moment's notice. Longer stays (more than a week) might need a day's notice, but not required. Obviously depending on your pets characteristics, I'll either let them get to know me at their own pace or try to be a little more active and engaging, until they get comfortable and trusting. Once we're pals, then it's a whole lot of petting, walks, fetch, toys and just any sort of playing!!!
8. Lilly C.
“Lilly is the most trustworthy person I could have asked for to watch my pets! She clicked with them right away, a natural animal lover! She was extremely attentive and kept me updated with pictures and videos. She made me feel safe and comfortable leaving my pets with her. 10/10 recommend!”
9. Andy G.
“Andy loves and has a deep connection with animals. They're especially good at noticing when animals are nervous and adjusting his demeanor to make them more comfortable. My own cat Piggy is anxious around new people but has loved them since the start. Piggy also has a gluten allergy and they have never fed her anything other than her designated safe food and treats. Finding a caregiver for a pet with dietary needs can be stressful but Andy understands the importance of any special diets to the health of your pet. Overall, they're good about following directions and rules set in place for the safety of your pet and making them feel comfortable with their presence.”
10. Arianne W.
“Arianne has a great background of having family pets growing up, and helping her mother fostering kittens. We asked her to pet/house sit while on a two week vacation. Our dog requires special medication and Arianne took great care of her. She is friendly and kindhearted and we returned to a a dog and a house in great condition.”
11. Ashley P.
“Since I've known Ashley, she's cared for her two dogs as well as my Rottweiler, and her sister's pitbull and Labrador. She rescued both of hers, a golden mix and a severely abused and neglected Dalmatian who had serious trust issues and aggression at first. She rehabilitated the Dal to the point of him being the sweetest big boy ever: an accomplishment that I don't even think I could've done, and I've been 100% a dog guy my entire life. Whenever I have to go anywhere, she's one of the only ones I trust to watch my Rottie girl. Whenever I come back from a trip, I think my rottie loves her more than me! Ashley is good at following any care instructions and is trustworthy with anything you need!”
12. Raquelle R.
“I highly recommend using Raquelle to help with your pet. She naturally loves animals and bonded quickly with my dogs. They looked forward to their walks with their new friend. She is a wonderful person that I will definitely hire again.”
13. Crystal C.
“Crystal used to watch my cat and 4 dogs, she communicates very well during each visit always sent lovely pictures and always respectful of my home. Crystal would come for drop ins and occasional house sitting and we were very sad when she moved, we have not found a sitter quite like her since. I know she will continue to be a great sitter to her new clients as well.”
14. Volencia C.
“Vee was wonderful! Took great care of my dogs.”

About: I've taken care of kinds of pets since I was a teenager. I've had pet dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, chameleons, and more since I can remember and have that natural body language that usually puts dogs and cats (well not all cats...cats are cats after all ;-)) at ease usually at first meeting. I'm responsible and have less time where I have to be meeting with clients on site which gives me the opportunity to spend more time with your pet which is a win-win for you and your pet. I'm working on a startup and I'm an avid runner that knows most of the parks in the city very well. I'm currently working on projects and with free lance clients on a case by base basis which gives me more time to spend with your dog. Note that I’ve watched dogs in NYC and lived there for 10 years. So NYC is an option as well. For house sitting closer to Pittsburgh and further than 20 miles away. Has to be on a case by case basis. Length of stay is a factor for example. I love playing with dogs and cats but that means very different things to each owner so that will depend on meeting with the owner to discuss what their particular pets like and what makes them comfortable. Have a specific concern or request ? Please let me know and ask about my personalized , artist designed pet video inspirational coffee mugs, calendars and more 🤠👍
16. Nya J.
“Nya may be one of the most loving and nurturing people when it comes to dogs. She gives up her own time to volunteer at a local shelter to take dogs out for a day long trip in hopes of being adopted. When I am scheduled to work she comes by to feed, let out, and play with my dog. He is always so excited to see her and I’ve never had any issues with the care Odin has received.”
17. Danielle B.
About: I have volunteered with multiple animal rescue organizations including wildlife sanctuaries. I foster dogs and take shelter dogs on doggie field trips - primarily focusing on the hard to adopt dogs as I have a great deal of experience with difficult dogs. I have had multiple dogs over my lifetime and place a big focus on their quality of life. I have a flexible work from home job that I can easily work around. My children are both in college, making it easier to add the hours into my day. Safety is my biggest concern. I ensure dogs are never left alone, gates and doors are never left open, and leashes remain attached to dogs until it is safe to remove. I stay aware of my surroundings at all times in order to keep the dogs in comfortable situations.

About: I previously volunteered and walked dogs for Humane Animal Rescue. I’ve also walked and taken care of neighbors’, friends’, and family members’ dogs and cats. In addition, I have owned my own pups for most of the last 14 years, led them through training, and during this time, I have absolutely fallen in love with dogs. Finally, I actually started working for an organization, Dogs Trust USA, in August 2022 as their Director of Communications. We provide dog training, professional development services for shelter and rescue employees, and grants for shelters and rescues. Through my flexible schedule, I have time available throughout most of the week for pet care. The only days and times I’m unavailable are Tuesday (8-11 a.m.), Wednesday (8 a.m.-2 p.m.), and Thursday 8-11 a.m.). Depends on you and your pets’ needs and schedule! Need more walking? Play time? Attention and affection? That’s how I care for them. For our own pets, we care for them like family members. They sleep with us, we play with them, we just built a catio for our cats, we take them with us on vacation, and much more. This might be a bit too personal, but when our dog, Remy, passed in January 2020, that was one of the hardest times and deaths I’ve ever experienced. I truly know how much that pets can be members of our families.
