About: I love all animals from farm animals to wild animals, and cats & dogs! I have 4 dog rescues of my own. Boston Terrier/Mini Pin, White Shepherd, Newfoundland, and most recently a Treeing Tennessee Brindle. I've recently graduated from Penn Foster as a Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor. I love taking care of dogs in need, exchanging companionship, and simply hanging out with furry friends! Ready for adventures with some extra exercise too!! I have a very flexible schedule and I can usually accommodate to make things work. I have a routine for my own dogs with extra assistance available to take care of them if I need to be elsewhere to take care of my clients pet(s). I have multiple options from a fenced in yard, indoor comforts, or I can crate your pet if preferred. I also enjoy getting the extra exercise and going for walks.
About: I've cared for my own pets, and for friends for many years, and also used professional petsitting sites. I don't currently have any pets of my own, so love to spend time with the furry ones and keep them company. I currently work remotely from home, so am often happy to stay close to your pets during the days and/or let them out on regular bathroom breaks. I am able to care for your pet in your own home, in a place they already know and trust and am happy to take care of any domestic needs.
About: All my life I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds, llamas, horses, zonkeys, emu’s, you name it. My mom owned an animal rescue farm my entire life, and was constantly bringing home animals in need of a loving home. We raised mostly Australian shepherds of every size and horses on our farm in West Virginia, as well as showing some of them for the sport of it. After moving out and on my own away from the farm life, I missed it more than ever and thought what better way to gain that feeling back than by helping others out by hanging out with their pets!? Needless to say, I have a lifetime of experience with animals which inspired me to begin pet sitting. It’s the safest way for me to get my "pet fix", otherwise I'd adopt every animal from the humane society 😅 I have three daughters, a 6 & 4 year old, and newborn, whom also share the same love for animals as we do. I swear it runs in our blood! I feel that it is important for them to learn responsibility and how to care/love for each and every animal they encounter in life as well, so I would love to surround them with pets of all kinds! I have pet sit for many friends here on island, including small short visits, bathing and walks. I am reliable and easy to get in touch with. I also don't mind doing some obedience training if needed too! I was practically raised around the methods of Cesar Millan because my mom was obsessed with his ways! I am comfortable with any age, breed, and or size animal, so if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out :) I'm a full-time stay-at-home-mom. The majority of our days involve going on walks, being outside, and staying active. My littles love animals so much, so I feel that caring for other pets would allow them to grow, learn, and also experience the joy of pet sitting and animals! We have a fully fenced in acre of land to provide ultimate safety for your fur babies! We are vigilant on making sure our doors are closed at all times due to our little ones as well, so safety is something we take pride in! Our house has an open floor plan and a large wrap around porch that has no outlets as well! So needless to say we have loads of room for roaming 🤭
“Cassidy was great! Went above and beyond with our pups. He was accommodating and very communicative. Our pups had a couple potty accidents and Cassidy cleaned them up without us asking. Will be using them again for sure!”

About: My name is Cady and I enjoy dog sitting for friends, neighbors and family. I've been dog sitting on and off for around 10 years. I've also worked professionally has an Animal caretaker for a local pet resort, so I know the routine of dog walking, taking care of pets who stay overnight, giving medications, feeding, and playing and showing love to the each and every animal. I also have the skills and experience to care for dogs of all sizes , age and health. My availability is flexible as of now so, I'm able to spend as much time as possible with each and every dog that I have the opportunity to care for. I love spending time outdoors as well, so rest assured that your pup will get some sun and much needed exercise! I have open availability 5 days out of the week. I also have my own means of transportation. I am open to housesitting as well! I make sure you follow your daily routine with your companion as well as hold space for them to explore and just feel loved and seen.

About: I have over 10 years experience taking care of pets! From dogsitting, dog transport, and working at a doggy daycare I have been well trained by dogs of all sizes, breeeds and behaviors. I love all animals, but especially dogs. Your dog will be loved, closely watched and well taken care of. Please let me know if you have any special requests so that I can accommodate and plan accordingly. I am a yoga teacher and I work and live in Waimea but I am able to travel from Kona to Kohala. I am home most of the time when I am not at the beach or doing yoga so Rover is a great option for me! Done hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have. Mahalo Nui Loa! I am very much a homebody and have scheduled my day to be able to be available for morning, afternoon and evening walks and pet visits. I am extremely passionate and loving to all animals regardless of behavior, size, breed or age. This job brings me so much joy and I truly love to connect with and care for animals as if they were my own.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
