“Candi is amazing. We have a GSD who is on immunotherapy for his allergies. Candi diligently followed the medicine protocol. During our time away, Loki exhibited signs of ear infections and irritation. She was prompt to contact us. We guided her to get the medication which she was kind enough to administer and clean his ear (not an easy task to do with a gsd) She also took Loki out on walks where she was attentive to keep him disciplined consistent to his training preventing him from walking ahead of her and correcting his behavior in response to distractions. In all, she is the next person who will take care of your pup just as well as you. I have engaged her services multiple times and full stars to her each time”

“Josie was wonderful with my cats, she arrived on time to each check in and left adorable pics on each Rover card. She gave me peace of mind that my cats were cared for while I was away. Thanks so much Josie!”

“I was so happy to find Amanda on here. She took great care of our kittos with lots of pictures and detailed updates about how and what they were doing. We came home to a clean and tidy home and happy cats! Looking forward to calling on Amanda again in the future!”

“Kami was very accommodating with my last minute request for a drop-in visit the next day. She arrived promptly and sent an adorable picture of my little ones who looked very content with their new friend. I will reach out to Kami again for future needs.”

“I love Jen. She was very attentive. I could communicate with her anytime I wanted. I did do it during her visits. Sent me pictures of my kitties. I have one that’s a scaredy-cat. She did try very hard with him my other cat ran to her when she came in. I felt comfortable with her in my house!!! She was great.”

About: I grew up with a Boxer in the family so I am familiar with caring and loving for my own pup. Unfortunately, I never owned another dog after her, but would love to meet more pups! I am around dogs constantly as I work with families in their homes so I am definitely comfortable being around them! I currently work a full time job, but would love to come take care of your furry babies. I would be willing to drop in before work, but definitely would have more flexibility when I get out! I would also be available on weekends. I know first hand what it’s like to miss your pet. I would be so happy to send you MANY pictures of your furry baby and let you know what they’ve been up to. I will provide any cuddles and pets that they are comfortable with and of course provide some play time!

About: My daughter and I are absolute dog lovers. We love playing with animals and spending time with them. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks and play time. I work full time but have summers off. I am able to come home on breaks. I am a home body so I prefer to be home with the animals. I have a dog friendly doodle and an 8 year old who loves dogs. If we had it her way we would have ten. The next best thing would be caring for your fur babies while you need it!

“Amethyst was so attentive to my needs and concerns while I was out of town. Like any cat mom I get nervous to leave my fur baby alone with just anyone but my little guy was in good hands!”

“Our pups love Montana! She took great care of our two girls and we loved the pics. We came home to two very happy and well-exercised pups. Thank you for accepting such a short notice booking!”

About: I have been a veterinary technician for a long time! I have recently changed careers and have been a student again. I miss being around fur babies and I would love to have the opportunity to do it again! I started my career with animals in a shelter and moved into the veterinary field. I have had too many foster animals of all types to even count! I am completely confident in my skills weather that be behavioral, medical, age specific, etc. My own pets are all over the rainbow bridge now and I deeply miss these interactions. Very available unless on vacation. Reach out if you need something! We may be able to make it happen! Full time student home for the summer ready to take care of your fur babies! I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a large yard to walk your dog all around! We also have a great area to go on longer walks right on our street! While your away, let your pet have the experience of their very own vacation with me!

“Kerry was very communicative and reliable as usual. I don’t have to worry about my kitties when I’m away because I know Kerry gives them all the love and care they need! I will be happy to hire her again in the future!”

“My first use of Rover was a huge success because of Carisa. My cats were so content when I got home they didn't even welcome me!! The pictures she sent were great to see for peace of mind. I hope you're available in January for my next trip!! I don't need to look any further.”

“Sarah is everything I could ask for in a pet sitter. She is caring, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and communicative. I don’t worry about my dogs when I know she’s watching them. She takes wonderful care of Dixie and Jedi!”

“Michelle was so sweet, quick to respond, and made us feel so at ease while on vacation away from our fur baby! Thank you so much Michelle for taking the best care of Oatmeal.”

About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For a time, I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Carefully and comfortably. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. If it could be all I did, all the time - I think that I would like that just fine. I’ll need a heads up at first to secure prep, but after that I could spend virtually all of my time with your companions - needing only to stop momentarily for supplies. Generally, boarding an animal at my own home is a much bigger ask, if it’s to be overnight. But during the day if they were to be transported here and then picked up again, then it’s fairly simple. Massasoit State Park is half a mile from my house and offers a great destination - all the dogs I’ve taken care of and brought there have loved it. At a home that the pet is used to is really a non-issue, (it helps if the owner is there when I meet the companion in question). Overnight and for extended lengths, though - it would only be a matter of making sure I’d have what I’d need for the length of time, so I would need just a little prep time.

About: With over a decade of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, I bring both passion and professionalism to every pet sitting visit. I currently care for my 13-year-old Shih Tzu, a 10-year-old Maltese, and three beloved cats—so I’m well-versed in senior pet care, daily routines, and multi-pet households. I also have past experience owning larger and more demanding breeds, including Rottweilers, an English Bulldog, and a Black Russian Terrier, giving me a strong understanding of breed-specific behaviors and needs. From toy breeds to working dogs, kittens to senior cats, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s personality, health, and comfort level. Your pet will be in capable, caring hands. I’m flexible with timing and happy to work around my other commitments to find something that works for you. Whether you need daily visits, weekly check-ins, or help while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pets are well cared for and comfortable. When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat it with the same respect and attention I would want for my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet—and your space—are in good hands. I make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved while sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether it’s giving medications, keeping things tidy, or sending regular updates, I do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

“Katrina is great! Going to be using her a lot as I am returning to work one day a month. Even helped take care of my brothers scared of everything dog on last minute notice. Tilly obviously recognizes her and loves her! Thank you Katrina :)”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, specifically dogs, and I have developed so much love for them! I have my own animals and they are truly my babies, and I promise to ensure the same treatment with your fur babies:) I just graduated highschool, and I’m trying to save as much money possible to fund my college tuition as I am studying Business at the University of Maine! I’m currently part-time, which leaves me a lot of free time throughout the day, and why not spend it with animals? My dog is always a priority and so will yours! The dog will be leashed at all times until secure and safe in the home it is from, while making sure they are hydrated and fed. My biggest fear is my dog taking off out the door and it will be my top priority to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound!

“Alexis is an exceptional pet sitter! My cats absolutely love when Miss Alexis comes over. I never have to worry about my fur babies while I'm away because I know they're in the best hands. She takes such wonderful care of them, and her kindness and patience truly stand out—especially with my timid cat, Lucy. Lucy rarely comes out of hiding for anyone, but she happily greets Alexis, which speaks volumes about the trust she’s built. Alexis consistently keeps us updated with photos, quickly communicates any concerns, and genuinely cares for our cats as if they were her own. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, compassionate pet sitter!”

“Jordyn L. is one of the most genuine animal lovers I’ve ever met. She talks about dogs all the time—with so much love, excitement, and care that it’s impossible not to notice how deeply she connects with them. While she hasn’t watched my dog personally, I can absolutely feel the love she has for her own dog and for animals in general. Her compassion, attentiveness, and warm personality make her someone I’d trust completely with any pet. I know she’d provide safe, loving care and outstanding service to both pets and their people.”
