14. Shannon M.

About: I grew up in a household housing pets all the time. I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and a rabbit. I am familiar with animal’s nutrition and exercise needs. I’ve been able to carefully asses small injuries that can be treated at home and which ones require a visit to the vet. I’ve learned to pick up on the different personalities that each pet has and used it to ensure that each one is loved and in a happy environment. I’ve always been around pets, and I have a dog of my own named Khyzer (who is a very good boy!!). I also spend time researching how to properly feed and take care of different dogs based on their breed, size, age, and weight to gain more awareness. I am ready to care for your pet, have fun with them, and show them lots of love! I have a big and beautiful backyard for dogs to roam around and play! :D I never leave pets (including my own pets) unsupervised outside in my backyard (backyard only!! front yard has no fencing so it is dangerous). When we are inside, the same rules apply. Dogs and cats are just like children, so to help them out and to make pet parents feel comfortable and safe, I treat every dog with love and respect, while also supervising at all times. I love my own pets, and if I left them with someone I do not know, I would hope to have a sitter who truly loves and takes care of my pet properly. Use my code: SHANNM56904 (For 20% off your first booking, if you are new to Rover!) Over this summer, I have plenty of time to care for you fur babies! (: I am very flexible this time of the year! Feel free to contact me for my availability (: I leave a clean area so that you fur baby can be in a peaceful environment. I have a nice, spacious backyard where your fur baby can roam around while being supervised! I also have toys that they can play with. And of course, I will be able to provide the attention your fur baby needs and deserves <3

“mari was my roommate for a year and is still one of my closest friends to this day :) when we started living together i had just gotten my german shepherd dog (her name is cabbage!) who was a rescue with some trauma and (a lot!) of reactivity issues (she’s made a lot of progress over the years and im very proud of her for it :D ). even though it was difficult sometimes, mari was patient with us and even helped take care of her sometimes (looked after her when i visited family, took her on occasional walks, etc) and she was one of the few people cabbage was comfortable with. she’s shown us both so much patience and understanding throughout the years, and im sure she’ll do the same for you and your pets :)”
