About: I’ve devoted my life to animals and taking care of them. I have prior experience in the veterinary field, doggy day cares, and have fostered many dogs over the years for various nonprofits. We live on a small farm and have chickens, quail, cats, rabbits, and kunekune pigs. We also have two dogs. Sylvia is a 12 year old Pit Bull terrier (who is a sweet and lovely advocate for the breed) and Aquila our fun loving 3 year old Icelandic sheepdog. Aquila and I compete in dog sports in our free time. I consider myself especially comfortable with nervous or fearful dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home as well, which allows me to have free time throughout the day to accommodate time slots for pet care. As far as boarding goes, one of us is almost always home. While we do not have a fenced yard, we use a long lead that provides lots of room for your dog to play but still be securely attached to me. Our 3 acres allows for walks in the woods and lots of sniffs around our farm animals. We only board one client at a time in our home because quality over quantity is very important to us. If you have a puppy you can expect any training to be ongoing with us and if desired, we can also do extra socialization and outings. Our two children, while very neutral and hands off, are excellent with dogs and are a great positive experience for puppies.
About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

I was a veterinary technician for 20 years and I have experience with cats, dogs (large & small), fish, reptiles, and farm animals. I have one Doodle, a rescue pit bull, a chihuahua, and two cats. We had cows, ponies, and donkeys for many years but now that my son is active in sports we have retired from farm animals. I’m very experienced with all medications including but not limited to: insulin injections, eye drops, and oral medications. I walk dogs daily in Howell, Fowlerville, Stockbridge, and Brighton so normally last minute bookings are available. I hope to meet you and your friends soon! Im now a stay at home mom and I work from home. This allows for a flexible schedule for pet sitting and allows me to be available for short notice/emergency visits. I’m generally available through out the day for your pets needs. I don’t normally watch animals in my home but directions will be followed exactly for the care of your pets in your home. About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.
