About: **Please understand we can only consider requests with completed profiles. Think of it like online dating for pets—we just want to make sure it’s a good match on both sides! We share our home with one large, lovable dog—who just so happens to be the ultimate dog sitter! He’s incredibly gentle and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all breeds and sizes. With experience fostering through the Humane Society, we’ve developed a deep love and understanding for pups of all kinds. Spoiling them with love, care, and attention is just what we do best! **Just a heads-up—we’d really appreciate it if you could choose drop-off and pick-up times that match your plans as closely as possible. It helps us keep things running smoothly! If pick-up is after 10 PM, we kindly ask that your pup stays an extra night to keep things calm and comfy for everyone.** I work from home, so I’m able to take quick walk or play breaks throughout the day. Whether your pup needs a little activity or just some quiet companionship, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we do have a cozy screened-in sun porch where our own pups love to lounge and keep an eye on the birds. If your dog prefers a crate, I’m happy to accommodate that. And if they’re more into the laid-back lifestyle, they’re welcome to relax on the couch or guest bed—whatever makes them feel at home!

About: I became a pet owner at a very young age, probably 4 or 5. My first fur baby was a cat who lived to be 20 years old! I have also had many dogs, ranging from Retrievers to Saint Bernards to one really wonderful Great Pyrenees. When I was a teen, I visited my Grandmother in New York where a cute, sick little barn kitty took a liking to me. I ended up flying him home with me in a picnic basket, nursed him back to health, and loved him for many years. While growing up and into my adulthood I have often taken care of neighbors' and friends' dogs and cats while they were away. I now have a 5-year-old kitty who we've had since he was a kitten. He is the king of the castle and an essential member of our family, and honestly, I envy his life most of the time! I understand how precious our pets are and would be truly honored to take care of yours just as they were my own, surrounding them with love, patience, and attention. I can currently commit to Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-9pm. Other times/days may be available by request and circumstance depending on my work schedule for that week. Don't hesitate to reach out and we'll see if we're a good fit! I will treat your home and pet(s) with just as much care, caution and respect as I do for my own and each and every client.

“Amanda is super friendly and easy to coordinate with. She made me feel really at ease to leave my kitties in her care for a week and I am very pleased with the results. She cleaned their bowls, got the mail for us, and even took out the trash. She didn’t have to at all but it made coming back from a long trip so much easier. My shy kitties liked her and that’s a huge win for me! I got pictures every day and updates on how they were doing. I highly recommend Amanda and will use her again if we go away again before we move. I’m sad that we’re moving soon since it was such a good experience. Thank you so much!!”

About: I have grown up with animals all of my life (10+ cats, 3 dogs, fish over my lifetime). Nothing brings me more joy and happiness than hanging out and caring for our furry friends. I currently have my own dog, Molly, who adds the perfect amount of puppy-chaos to my life. In my free time I petsit for friends, foster animals, and volunteer at local animal shelters where I work with both dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I work remotely full-time and have a lot of flexibility, so I have the ability to care for/check on animals throughout the work day during normal working hours. I have even more flexibility after work hours and on weekends! When I pet sit, I try to find every animal I care for even if they are master-hiders. I like to provide owners with a picture of their pets every day I see them. I also ensure their needs are met regarding food/water/pottying & litter boxes and receive some love and affection whether it's a few pets for more independent pets, or actual playtime for more rambunctious pets!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, from hermit crabs to horses. The last 15 years I’ve gone from volunteering with animals to now rescuing and owning 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I’m a resident physician but I’m currently on a research year so my schedule is pretty flexible for home visits or walks- but also for boarding given that I have a very animal friendly environment in my own home. I have a three bedroom, split level house with a large backyard and access to a huge field on the other side of my yard for things like fetch and walks. I have 2 energized and social dogs in my own home who are very friendly, love cuddling and playing fetch. I also have 2 cats who do well around my dogs, one younger one that plays along with them and one older one who is still social but keeps more of a distance from play time.

“We so appreciate Kory taking care of our cats and chickens when we’re away. He is so reliable and always lets us know how our pets are doing. We know we can count on Kory. Thanks!”

About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I'm 25. I've taken care of, fostered, and owned many cats and dogs throughout all life stages. As a child, I always had animals in the house to take care of, and I've been dog/cat sitting since I was 16. I am familiar with kittens and puppies, but also with elderly dogs/cats as well as dogs/cats with various medical conditions that may need different kinds of medicine administration or lifestyle adjustments. I am currently available full time for your pet, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your animals! I am available for house sitting and stopping by your home. I understand that keeping our pets safe and happy is of the highest priority, and how I will take care of your pets will reflect that.
