About: Hi! First of all thank you for considering me to take care of your dog or puppy. I have always loved dogs as a child and took on neighborhood opportunities such as walks and drop-ins. More recently, I have built the experience watching a pet for an extending period of time and adhering to a detailed feeding, walking, and medication schedule. I also carry experience working with timid or anxious dogs. I am a morning person with a flexible working schedule. I am able to accommodate most pets needs and can adjust as needed for each client. I've always had a passion for taking care of animals and grew up with German Shepherds. This is the first time in my life I haven’t had a pet and I travel too frequently to be able to get one right now, so I REALLY miss being around dogs & cats. I’ve always been told I’m an animal whisperer and even the most skittish, shy animals seem to feel comfortable around me. I’ve had tons of experience both with happy healthy young pets as well as seniors or special needs animals. I’ve spent most of my years in general medicine but have also worked several years in speciality including surgery, internal medicine, oncology and some ER. I am a fish tank keeper and a plant lady so let me know if that’s something you might need in your home. 🐠🪴 👩🏼 I also have a virtual assistant on my team who is also a Licensed Vet Tech. Her name is Jessica and she can help answer questions and get you all set up. 😊 I work part time in a specialty animal hospital a few days a week and mainly walk dogs the rest of the week. So you could say pet care is my entire life. Drop in visits: I try to stick to your pets routine as much as possible. They get their food and meds as instructed and extra time is left for walks and play time. Kitties get play time as well or if they prefer tv or just a quiet body in the house to sit and read to them that is also an options. I try to listen/pay attention to what your pet wants to do. Pet sitting in your home: I’m a fairly quiet pet sitter but love long walks outside and lots of backyard playtime. Your pets routine is the most important thing to me and I do my best to adjust accordingly with my work schedule.
