My last sheltie passed away this spring and while I'm still mourning her too much for a new dog I do desire to shower your pets with affection and make them feel special when you cannot. I'm willing to throw the ball until they are whipped. I'm willing to walk them until they are all tuckered out. My theory has always been that a good dog is a tired dog and a tired dog is a good dog. About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Leesburg and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. We usually do a longer walk in the mornings (between 6-7am) and play outside when it's cooler, then a short walk around lunch time, and another walk around sunset. Bedtime is around 9:30 in our house. Ideally I'd like to find other low-medium energy dogs that play well with my dog and can be trusted to free roam/play around my townhouse while I work. We go out for lunch time play around the neighborhood so good leash manners is a must.

I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

About: I’ve been solely in change of taking care of my family’s dogs since 2020 when I raised my dog over covid, I have also fed and let out neighborhood dogs when needed. I’m working part time at a restaurant while I’m home from college this summer so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your dog! I will not differ from your instructions unless necessary but when necessary I can act quickly to adjust on my feet. I know that dogs are unpredictable so I am prepared for whatever comes.
About: I grew up with pets in my home. I’ve taken care of my neighbors dog for over a year and another neighbors cats while they are out of town. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. Willing to come to your home or your pet can stay in my home. I’m flexible. I will walk your dog with a leash. Play outside but I do not have a fence. Your pet will be well loved and cared for. I follow directions very carefully.
About: My experience with dogs is very wide. I am a previous owner of a Goldendoodle and also a Boykin Spaniel. I have taken care of my friends houses and pets before and also helped out with potty breaks for many of my friends dogs. I currently also am a nursing student and working towards my nursing degree:) I am a student as of right now working part time at the hospital, but definitely have much time to help out with furry friends. I am able to walk pets around my neighborhood or come to my clients house and play with the dog and also take them out for potty breaks. I also have experience with crate training.

About: I have taken care of my family's and friend's dogs for over 10 years, working with both large and small dogs of all age ranges. I have taken care of energetic dogs that need lots of walks and playtime, and also dogs that need less activity but lots of love while their parents are out of town. Additionally, I have experience giving small and large dogs oral medication. I am currently working part-time and a student on summer break applying to physician assistant programs so I have a very flexible schedule and I can dedicate as much time as needed to taking care of your pet. While watching your pet in your home I will make sure we stick to the areas designated to where the pet is allowed and make sure to keep an eye on them in whatever room or outdoor space they are in.
