Megan was amazing with our two labs. She’s very responsive and kept this momma up to date with videos and pictures during their stay. They came home happy and very tired from all the playing. We will absolutely use Megan again for our boarding needs!

Tony and Trish are excellent sitters. They took care of our two dogs over the weekend and I would highly recommend them. They even took care of my blind dogs medication. Excellent hosts.

I swear that our dog Murphy has more fun with Elena than he does at our house with our kids. She’s incredible with our dog and he’s excited to be with her whenever we leave town.

About: Hi there! Im used to watching other people's pets and usually am requested to do such on base or off base. I also volunteered often for the humane society and owned several dogs myself. Military has made it more difficult to own a dog so taking care other dogs is a bit easier. If you need my number please shoot me a msg! (I dont have it listed since its linked to an account I forgot) My schedule is usually rather free most days now. If you let me know in advance I can happily give you my schedule which usually consist of appointments. There's a huge fenced yard in the back and the house is always cooled. They're no kids here either. I certainly would welcome a house tour if you feel inclined to.

About: I grew up in Alaska with huskies, labs, and Pitt bulls mostly so I’m comfortable with any kind of dogs. I currently own an adorable little chihuahua named Miley! I just moved here so my schedule is pretty open for now, looking mostly to do boarding since I live so far out of town. I just moved to my grandpas ranch with 280 acres if anyone needs pet boarding! I’ll follow any instructions given by the owner. I have a chihuahua named Miley if your pet likes company!

About: Obsessed with animals is basically my personality 🐾💕 I’ve spent years caring for all kinds of pets and livestock, including being involved in 4-H, where I learned how to handle and care for animals of all shapes and sizes. I currently have two pups of my own, so I totally understand how important it is to trust someone with your babies. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs, including administering medication for diabetic pets, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe, capable hands. I’m super reliable, attentive, and treat every animal like they’re my own—lots of love, patience, and belly rubs included 🤍 Pet care is naturally a part of my everyday life! I have two dogs of my own, so my daily routine already includes feeding, walking, playtime, and lots of attention and love. I structure my schedule to make sure I have plenty of time for pet care, whether that’s morning and evening visits, drop-ins throughout the day, or overnight stays. I’m very consistent with routines and understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule. Because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, caring for them never feels like a task—it’s something I look forward to and prioritize in my week 🤍🐾 Your pets aren’t just pets—they’re family, and I treat them that way 🤍 I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, loving environment. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and pay attention to their behavior, needs, and any special instructions you provide. Whether I’m in your home or mine, safety is always my top priority, and I want you to feel completely confident leaving your fur babies with me.

Heather was a great sitter! She was always very prompt to respond and answer questions. She sent updates and photos nearly every day. Her two dogs played with our Kona very well and kept her entertained and pleasantly exhausted. Heather's home is well organized and the backyard is large enough and secure. We would happily use her services in the future.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Mountain Home home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
