About: I’ve grown up with dogs and I was probably 5 years old when I started learning how to take care of my 50lbs dogs. During the only time that I didn’t have a dog at home, I volunteered at a dog shelter, where I interacted with dogs of all types, ages, and sizes. At the shelter, I was also trained on how to care for shy and fearful dogs. I have been on Rover for about 4 years. I just graduated and I am looking for jobs so I have a lot of flexibility right now. I also take care of my dog and have family to help if needed. I’m good at following instructions and adapting to different situations. I have also been trained on how to gauge certain dog’s emotions and how to act on them.

“Helen saved the day! She was willing to come even when it wasn’t convenient for her when I expressed I was having a hard time getting anyone. She’s very communicative & sent updates w/ a photo. I wish she didn’t live far. Our pups seemed to like her… photo was proof!”

“Amazing! Was able to book with her the same day since I was going on a last minute trip, and she was very punctual and professional. My cats’ litter boxes were clean, and there was plenty of food and water left when I got home. The cats also seemed to like her! Would book again!”

“Vicky is incredibly kind and responsible. She took care of my dogs for three weeks while I was away, keeping me updated daily with texts and pictures, which allowed me to fully enjoy my trip. My dogs absolutely adore her! She is especially skilled at caring for senior dogs, showing remarkable patience and attentiveness. You won’t find anyone better than Vicky—we all love her!”

“Attentive and caring for so my little ones. Thankful to have someone reliable to entrust my babies with while navigating a wedding weekend. Thank you for everything!”

About: I am a massive animal lover! Throughout college and afterwards, I have cat sat multiple times up to several months, taking care of college students' pets while they are on vacation and otherwise! I also took care of a small-medium sized dog that was somewhat handicapped (missing eye) for around 4 months and learned to adjust to their needs/comfort zones. After fostering now I own my own cat! I aim to understand your pet, their personality and tendencies, and meet them where they are at. I love learning from every animal I encounter and creating a unique experience with each pet, making sure that they are well loved, comfortable, and happy. Animals teach us a lot of things from patience, to being in the moment, and having fun. I am a very active person and love to go on runs around my neighborhood, explore hiking trails nearby JPL/Southern California, walk around college campuses in Pasadena and would love to bring your dog(s) on one of these adventures :) I have taken a course called Fear Free Shelter Program which gives online education to pet sitters to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets. This course is usually geared towards shelter, rescue, and animal welfare employees/volunteers, I believe this education can be transferred to petsitting and even dog-walking! Let me know if you have any other questions! I am currently working full-time, but I have time in the evenings for dog walking and occasionally early mornings. On weekends, I am available for boarding. I live in a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a locked door to the patio. I aim to give all animals all the love and attention they need!

About: I have three years of professional experience working as a dog walker in a boarding facility. Since then, I’ve owned and cared for three dogs of my own, giving me firsthand experience with various breeds and temperaments. Working remotely from home allows me to offer a flexible schedule, so your pup will always have attention and care. I treat every dog like they’re my own—your dog will become my new best friend! Working remotely gives me the flexibility to incorporate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I can adapt to your dog's schedule, ensuring plenty of walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s morning strolls, midday breaks, or evening cuddles, I’m here to keep your pet happy and comfortable. I provide a safe, welcoming environment for pets, with a fenced-in backyard perfect for playtime and exploration. My small dog, who loves everyone, is always ready to make new friends. Having owned three dogs myself, I’m experienced in providing the attention they need and quick to recognize and address any potential safety concerns. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize your pet’s comfort and security.

“Alexis is just great to send pix and text about any issues. She was able to think on her feet about an emergency ant issue (yikes!) in a cabinet with the cat treats. Will absolutely hire her again and again!”

About: I've always had a love for animals and knew from a very young age that I wanted to work with them in the future. I have been taking care of friend's and family member's pets since I was 7 years old and am planning to work with animals professionally in the future. I am available Monday through Thursday and some weekends if it is planned beforehand. I have a pretty flexible schedule, but the best times for me would be in the morning and afternoon. (8 am-2pm) I am open to any accommodations that your pet may need. Such as taking them on walks, giving them medicine, and treats, giving them baths, etc...
