Laura is very responsive and she set up a meet and greet soon after I booked a day care session. She brought treats and water and showed Taco around so she could become comfortable with the environment prior to her stay. Laura even printed out my care instructions from rover to go over it together. Taco is very anxious around new people so I fully expected Laura to be unable to walk or pet her during Taco’s first day care stay. I hoped Taco would become comfortable after a few stays. However, not only did Laura manage to walk Taco and have her go potty during her first stay, Taco stayed on the couch and bed and even let Laura pet her! I’m amazed!!! This showed me Laura made sure Taco feels comfortable and safe throughout the day. Laura also sent me plenty of photos, which I appreciated. Thank you so much Laura!!”
About: Have experience mainly with bully breed type dogs 100lbs & under as well as cats, lizards, & fish. My experiences have been mainly with rescues. I have helped find loving homes for dogs as well as caring for and rehoming cats. Everyday is a learning experience and enjoy creating bonds with new fur friends! I currently have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted with reasonable scheduling and communication (usually a week advanced notice is preferred). I typically make time to walk my pets in the early mornings/late afternoons/nights and allow the dogs to roam the yard or come relax inside as they please and depending on weather conditions. I would prefer to have pets (especially dogs) to become familiar with me first before we consider boarding them with me. I can accommodate inhouse crate/private room or outdoor crate/private gated kennel for housing.
About: I’ve taken care of my two golden retrievers and their 31 puppies all until they’ve left the nest! I’ve been exposed to dog training and all different sizes of dogs. I’ve taken care of puppies, teens, adults, and seniors! I’ve also grown up with 10 cats and litter trained, played, and cuddled with all ages! I am unemployed so I have all the time in the world to check up on your loved ones 24/7. I will constantly be taking them out on walks, playing with them, feeding and taking them out for potty time! I have a fenced yard, and a special kennel in the backyard. Our yard is long and great for playing catch. I also have a senior golden retriever who would love to keep your fur baby company!
