About: I am a life long pet owner who loves to watch my friend’s and family’s pets when they’re in need. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and bunnies, including fostering a cat for a friend for a few months while she was away. I am a fairly active person, so I like to go on long walks and play with very energetic animals, but I can also appreciate those who just like company or want their own space. Learning the habits, needs, and quirks of each animal is my favorite part of the job, so I can be sure your animal will get the exact kind of care they need to be happy while you’re away😊 I currently have an open schedule so I will have all the time in the world to hang out with your fur children! The only days that are busy for me are Sundays, but I will still have some time available. I will be going back to work after the new year and will be working second shift, so will have the majority of the day available then as well! I like to stick to the routines that your animals are already used to following as to reduce anxiety as much as possible while you’re away! I definitely think it’s important to give extra love and attention to show that I am a friend and am there to take care of them.

About: Vacations shouldn't just be for the pet parents, the pets should get a new fun experience too. This is why I strive to keep in step with your pet's routines whilst also adding some fun enrichment, ample physical activities, and extra helpings of love and attention. In addition to walks; if your dog is a social butterfly, like me, and they frequent the dog parks; let's go! I have a vehicle built for pet field trips/adventures! I have a gift for helping injured or sick animals recover as well , I just haven't had the opportunity to care for a special needs dog yet. That being said, I am willing to learn and follow your routines for them. I am very dedicated to learning more pet care skills. I even rehabbed an injured squirrel for about a year until she returned to the wild. So, I am skilled in helping pets that may need extra help/care or medical issues that require a little more attention. I am also a Licensed Massage and Cupping Therapist, though I am not certified specifically in pet massage, when I do give a dog a massage....They LOVE it! I am also willing to care for pets other than dogs or cats; within reason of course....not sure I am equipped for Lions, Tigers, or Bears... OH MY! So, reach out let's set up a meet & greet; I would love to come out and meet you and your pets to see if we are a good fit! I have most days free. I occasionally do some pick-up work on some nights here and there, however, it would not be for a great deal of hours, and I am able to get home (or to your pets) at a decent time on those evenings. I do prefer to meet both you and your pets first, before taking on a care request, to assess safety for myself and the pet as well as understanding their surroundings. This allows me and you to evaluate if we are a good fit. I believe this is the first step in creating a solid foundation for a safe and fun experience for all involved. Especially, until your pet(s) and I get to know each other better, I would say I am hypervigilant in the beginning; not just for safety precautions but also to understand their routines, needs, communication styles, learning styles, training levels, etc... I am at their side anytime we go out. Even if you have a fenced in backyard I will either be out there playing with them and helping them get in some physical activity or I watch them closely from a window or door. As we learn more about each other, I take great care in developing solid communication with your pet so that they can understand and respond well. The more "simpatíca" we are, the more trust is built, the better responds to commands, which in turn strengthen that foundation of safety. Beyond the pet safety, If I am house sitting for you, I strive to keep your home safe and clean. I will respect and protect your home as if it were mine. Even If I am not house sitting and only doing drop-ins or walks. I will stay observant and keep your home safe as well; let you know if anything seems amiss, grab your mail so no one knows you aren't at home, rotate which rooms lights are on in your house, etc... A safe environment means a safe pet! I am also good at communicating with the pet parents throughout my booked care time via pictures, videos, texts, and calls. My goal is to make sure no pet parents even have to wonder how their pet is doing. I prefer to keep you in the loop so it's not you having to reach out to me. Communication is key for creating the safest most comfortable environment for any pet.

About: For my friends and family, I have always been their “go to” for reliable sitting. It’s not just what I know, it’s what I enjoy! I work full-time downtown as a graphic designer, with the flexibility to work remotely when needed. I’m available in the mornings and evenings to spend quality time with your pet, and I can also check in during the day if needed. My roommate has a mini dachshund, and I help take care of Toast whenever possible! He has a play pen where he can wander and play safely when we are away as well a kennel that he uses for a safe space. We also monitor the foods he is allowed to have very closely and have a good relationship with our vet for any questions/concerns we might have. While there is no opportunity in my backyard for roaming (they would need to be leashed), there’s a dog park a minute down the road that is well kept and perfect for exercise!

I have a flexible schedule and can work between the hours of 8am-10pm-Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have an art teaching commitment and I am not available. I will walk your dog on a leash at a park or your neighborhood but also can just let them out in your fenced yard. Cats will be played with if needed.

About: I grew up with the world’s sweetest flat-coated retriever as an older brother as well as several cats and other critters through the years. On top of this I have sought out outside opportunities to spend more time with animals, including volunteering at an animal shelter and private pet sitting. I have lots of experience handling animals of all temperaments, so I feel confident in my ability to care for any pet that needs a sitter and a pal. I have my own two kitties at home, so pet care is already a full time job for me! I also work a full-time hybrid office job, so 3 days during the work week I’m fully remote and able to care for your pets between meetings and tasks. I’m also fully available in the evenings and weekends to keep them company. I’m a huge fan of note taking and organization, so needless to say I will be thorough in making sure your pet’s routine does not stray from their norm. I always appreciate any guidelines from you, the owner, and even an introduction and home tour before you’re away so everyone is confident and at ease!

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I love playing with dogs and making sure they are comfortable and well taken care of . I’ve had English Setters, Golden retrievers, and Huskies. Although I do not have any dogs at the moment, I am able to help other owners take care of their four legged family members! I will treat your animals just the way you treat them, with kind and loving care. I enjoy taking dogs on on walks and can ensure that they will get the exercise they need and make sure to cater to any special needs your animal may need. I’ve had a dog all my life and now I own my own dog he’s a golden doodle and he is my best friend! He has taught me responsibility and positive reinforcement by taking care of him daily and especially when he’s sick giving him medicine. I do positive reinforcement when teaching him how to correctly walk along side of me and how to act while other dogs are present! He’s reminded me to get outside and have fun more! About: Hello! My name is Mara and I would love to help with your furbabies while you are away and cant! Loving and compassionate towards any and all animals! I am a dog mom myself and know the struggles of finding a safe and loving place while away! I offer overnight stays, dog walking, and drop ins! I have 2 female dobermans who are gentle giants. One is 4 years old and i also have a 1 year old. She LOVES playing and having friends around! Small or large!! I can assure you that your dog/cat would be more than at home here and treated just as my own. I also have a 14 year old son who loves animals as well and really enjoys helping out with their needs. Looking forward to hearing from you! I work from home, so your pet will never be alone or crated all day! I have a fenced in front and back yard that are separated, they are let out very frequently as we go in and out all the time and they go freely as they want since it's all fenced in! There is nothing around my home that isn't safe for them they are part of the family when they are here! I work from home, so I am always here with them! No different from any other day except four extra paws and a new friend 😍 I have a fenced yard. The front is separated from the back so they can go out together or separately. Besides that they run free in my home, possibly crated at night time so we don't have any uh ohs!
