About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have had experience with pups of all walks of life. As I got older, my friends got cats and I love a good kitty snuggle. I’m the friend that checks on the animals when you have to go out or hit up vacation! I work full time but work from home partially through the week! Usually available most weekday evenings after 5pm and would be available on set weekends for additional care beginning in the afternoons. I have a large fenced in backyard and work from home part of the week. I also have a separate area for crating, if needed. My own pup, Cricket, would love to have a buddy even now and again!
“You can tell Catherine really loves dogs! She took such good care of my Georgia girl. Taking her on long walkies and even wiping her down afterwards to get all the snow and dirt off. We look forward to future walkies!”

About: Patient, Attentive, Problem Solver, Caring, Love Each Pet Like My Own, Punctual and Consistent, Communicative, Will Understand Each Individual Pet’s Needs, Comfortable Administering Medicine, Fun! My schedule fluctuates throughout the year depending on how many hours I am working and what my classes look like. For the summer, I am pretty flexible, I do have a part time job in the evenings, usually Thursday-Sunday 4-anywhere from 8-11pm. Definitely message me about evening bookings within those days so I can check my schedule or work with my other job to accommodate to you! I also have a campus job in the summer, so throughout the week I have short shifts in the morning/early afternoons sometimes, but those are pretty easy to work around. Let me know if you have any questions! I would love to be given a run down of your pets regular daily lifestyle and what I should watch out for or what will help them get comfortable with me! I will follow directions attentively and keep up on whatever schedules you have your little friend on already to make your lives as easy as possible.
About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).
About: I have been around and loved dogs for my entire life. One of our family dogs had two litters while I was in high school and I helped take care of and raise the puppies. I also frequently pet-sat for neighbors and friends. Last year my wife and I adopted a puppy from Puerto Rico who we adore. I look forward to giving your pets the care and love they deserve! I do freelance work as a musician and dancer, so I have a fairly unpredictable schedule. Currently I am available on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM but I can be available on some weekends. I am happy to play with your dogs in their home or yard, to work on training as needed (our dog has been in training courses for around six months), or to do whatever else your dog will enjoy! I also enjoy walks and am happy to take your dog around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.

About: Hi! I’m Michelle, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had rescue dogs and cats, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I’ve raised and cared for several of my own rescues. I’ve also fostered and occasionally foster failed before ultimately adopting. Through those experiences I’ve cared for pets with very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve worked with animals ranging from tiny kittens to gentle giants like Great Pyrenees. I’m a dependable, detail-oriented person who understands that every pet has their own routine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being treated like one of my own. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite parts of the week. I keep my schedule organized so I can provide reliable, dependable care. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the workweek, as well as weekends, and I’ll always communicate clearly if I have any scheduling limitations. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.
About: I’ve been around pets all my life. Whether it has been through friends, grandparents or neighbors, I have helped care for dogs and cats alike! I enjoy getting to help out and spend time with them. I am fairly available during the week days for a drop in as I work in the early mornings and late afternoons at IU. I am also available for evening drop ins after 5. I care for pets in my home just as I would my own pet! Drop ins would work best for me as I am in at apartment currently!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life, my mom managed vet offices and shelters so I was never without (at least) 2 dogs and 4 cats. I started fostering puppies and kittens on my own when I was 10. Currently the mom of a sweet orange tabby. I would love to give your pets the love, play, and care they deserve when you’re away! I’m currently available all day, everyday for your furry friends! If needed, I even have availability to stay over night. I’m particularly a fan of morning walks :) I am very detail oriented, will follow your directions to a T, and reach out with any questions. You know what’s best for your pets! I have experience in childcare, so I know safety always comes first. Also, with my volunteer work at shelters, I understand how to calm grumpy dogs and cats down (and get their zoomies out, so you don’t come home to a gremlin!)

About: I have been around dogs and multiple cats ever since I was 5, but have been pet sitting for a year as additional income. I have dog sat a range of breeds from german shepherds to Maltese's. My routine when I go on walks is as needed for the dog, but on average 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, night) if you live in a neighborhood/condo, may vary depending on location. Please feel free to ask questions! I am currently a senior at Indiana University, and I have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. So, I will have plenty of time for your pets! I love to go on evening walks with my roommates, play lacrosse, read, and attend IU football games! Ideally I would go to/stay your home so that your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible! I will cater my routine to your pets personality, if they are an early riser, so am I. If they like to lounge and watch 101 Dalmatians, so do I. I am here to make you and your pets lives easier!
“Savannah was great this week with my little dog, Chloe. She was prompt and communicative. Chloe normally takes some time to warm up to new people but made fast friends with her.”

About: I have babysat for 5 years and on the side I would always pet sit, also with all of the families I have watched I would also be taking care of their pets! I have also volunteered at plenty of shelters!! I am a very energetic loving person and love to bring that energy into a pets life and be able to make their day :) I am currently a part time nanny so like before I would love to start pet sitting and walking while I’m not doing that!! I love getting my exercise in and keeping my days busy so I feel this would be great for me! I won’t be offering pet care in my home but at the clients home I would love to play with the pet to get energy and of course give it some love! I’m able to crate, feed, play, walk the pet whatever is needed!!
About: I have babysat for many family members and friends. I worked at a dog daycare business for 3 years as well! I have tons of experience with just about any breed, and I am always happy to learn something new about taking care of your pet! I love going for walks or just hanging out at home with pets, let me know whatever your furry friend needs to have the best time possible!

About: During highschool, I was on path to be a vet taking various animal science classes and volunteering weekly at my local shelter. I have fostered a litter of puppies, adopted 2, and am currently fostering a cat! I have administered medication, dog sat, trained animals, learned basic grooming needs, and of course walked plenty of dogs! I am currently working a part-time job while I search for a full-time post grad. I will be in Bloomington for two more months and need a way to get out of the house and get exercise! Since I will be mostly dog walking, I will be sure that during every minute your animal is with me that they are happy and healthy!

About: Hello there! My name is Haley and I am a lifelong pet lover who was raised on a farm and was the sole caretaker for a herd of goats, a horse, chickens, and other farm animals. This has given me experience in animal husbandry, medicine distribution, general care and maintenance. I also have pet care experience for the following animals: Bunnies, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, bearded dragons, chickens, horses, goats, donkeys, and of course, dogs and cats! I also have experience with trained police dogs and post op patients who may need that little bit of extra love, attention, and care. Whatever animal you've got, I would love to care for! Pet sitting is my livelihood, which means I am open to schedule according to your family and pet needs! Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I am open and ready to meet you and your fluffy family! I can feed, walk, play with them, etc. Please show me your pets favorite scratching spot or their favorite games to play so it can be as if their routine hasn't changed a bit! I can do whatever you need for me to do, including water plants, bring in mail, etc. My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while providing you peace of mind.
About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. I can watch animals on weekend afternoons or evenings. I would like a set schedule with someone if that works out. I have a big back yard and a very loving great dane to keep company. I also have a pin for my dog if for some reason they don't get along. Also a cat poll in my house for those who need cats watched.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
