About: I’ve been taking care of dogs/ cats since I was 11 years old. Some of the things I have done have included check in visits, house sitting, dog walking and over night stays. Families have trusted me to let their animals outside, feed them, walk them, bathe them and spend time playing with them. I also have had two dogs and a cat of my own in the past. I usually work three days a week and have four days off. If our schedules align I will be willing to help take care of your animal :) I am careful with following specific guidelines such as keeping the pets inside or on a leash when needed and ensuring that your pet is always in a safe area.

About: I love all animals, but have a particularly fond spot for dogs. I grew up caring for and training my own Carolina dog from a puppy. We learned over 30 commands and tricks in his lifetime. I've been sitting and walking friends and neighbors dogs and other pets since I was a teen. I've cared for a wide range of breeds from toy to large "bully" breeds as well as those with special or behavioral needs, such as medical issues and leash aggression. I love getting to know each dog's personality and quirks and it's always a special feeling seeing how excited they are to see a friendly face come to visit them. I learned more positive reinforcement training techniques in an internship with the Oakland Zoo. And just recently been able to pick the brain of a long time professional dog walker for safety and behavioral cues of dogs and have gotten some great resources to continue developing training and work with dogs. I have a lot of open time currently. Much of my other work is online and/or flexible. Dogs and cats are at the forefront currently. I’ve been told I have a calming personality, animals usually gravitate to me. I am careful to follow all guidelines for your unique pet. I make sure to give them lots of attention and affection as well.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
