About: I love all animals, but have a particularly fond spot for dogs. I grew up caring for and training my own Carolina dog from a puppy. We learned over 30 commands and tricks in his lifetime. I've been sitting and walking friends and neighbors dogs and other pets since I was a teen. I've cared for a wide range of breeds from toy to large "bully" breeds as well as those with special or behavioral needs, such as medical issues and leash aggression. I love getting to know each dog's personality and quirks and it's always a special feeling seeing how excited they are to see a friendly face come to visit them. I learned more positive reinforcement training techniques in an internship with the Oakland Zoo. And just recently been able to pick the brain of a long time professional dog walker for safety and behavioral cues of dogs and have gotten some great resources to continue developing training and work with dogs. I have a lot of open time currently. Much of my other work is online and/or flexible. Dogs and cats are at the forefront currently. I’ve been told I have a calming personality, animals usually gravitate to me. I am careful to follow all guidelines for your unique pet. I make sure to give them lots of attention and affection as well.

And while I haven't owned horses, I have spent a good amount of time with them and their owners, and feel capable of looking after them for a while. “Tina was truly the best dog sitter we could have asked for. Our 1 1/2 year old yellow lab Bakabon was lucky to have her take care of him for the day during our vacation at Mt. Shasta. She kept us up to date during the day sharing pictures of Baka swimming in the lake and she also took him for a 5 mile run as well. About: I have worked with dogs at a dog shelter and have walked them, fed them, bathed them and much more. I always watch my families dogs when they are out of town and make sure they have everything they need. I am in college but it’s all online so my time is completely free.
