“Jennifer was attentive and kept us updated at all times. She was very easy to work with and my dogs loved her. I would highly recommend booking with Jennifer. Your dogs will thank you for it.”

“Amazing! We have 1 older pit bull and 2 puppies (4mos) who are still in need of constant supervision and she did a great job of caring for them while we went away from the house for 5 hours. The pack didn't have any accidents and was totally chilling when we got back to our house. Can't wait to have Marisa back with the pack soon when we try an overnight trip without puppies. :)”
“First of all, I must say that Brenda and Dwain are great ambassadors for Dog setting. Prior to us going on vacation our dog Molly suffered two seizures in one day and we were about to go on vacation in a month and a half, having Brenda and Dwayne taking care of Molly and ensuring she got her medication while we were on a cruise in the Caribbean. There was a point during the vacation. Molly didn’t want to take her medication with the pill pockets. Dwayne and Brenda got some peanut butter and insured that Molly had her medication the entire time we were gone. I plan on using Dwayne and Brenda more often because of the care that they gave Molly, also they took pictures and gave us daily reports and how she was feeling while we were on the cruise. I would highly recommend if you have a pet that you love very much hire Brenda and Dwayne.. I want to thank both Brenda and Dwayne for taking care of our puppy. I highly recommend them. David & Denise. 🙏”

“So very happy we found Evelyn. She is kind and very capable. Took notes on everything and made us feel as if our sweet cat and home would be in excellent care for the 8 days we were gone. And they were. The photo updates were fun and reassuring. We highly recommend. We will be calling on Evelyn the next time we gone. She brought us lots of peace of mind and Oz loved her. Many thanks!”
“Noelle was fantastic with our babies! We will definitely reach out to her again for our next weekend getaway! She was attentive to their needs, patient with our pug's disability, cognizant of their comfort throughout the weekend, and kept them on their schedule/routine. She checked in often and kept us informed of their activities, leaving us to a stress-free, mostly unplugged weekend. We are very happy to have found Noelle!”

“Ayana was with the dogs the majority of the time of the 4 day sit She took very good care of my pug and lab mix She left the house in great condition She had great communication with me during our time away I recommend her without reservation”

“Phoebe was phenomenal! She stayed at our home with our cat and dog while we traveled. Both are animals are older and have several medications, and one has weekly treatments with our veterinarian. Phoebe provided all of their medications and appointments easily. She went above and beyond taking precautions to help protect the pipes from freezing at the house since there was a hard freeze for several days while we were away. Phoebe sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated on how our babies were doing while we were away. We returned to a clean home and happy babies. We are so grateful for everything Phoebe did and would absolutely recommend her for any house sitting needs!”

“Liz is such a sweetheart and very trustworthy. She was so good with our 7 month old pup Oz. He just adored her. When we got home we could tell he had a great day and wasn’t the slightest bit stressed out. We will be having her help us with our pup again!!”

“Another stress free vacation, because we knew Oreo was in the best hands with Maria! She was amazing communicating with us and sharing photo & video updates. Oreo is spoiled rotten when she’s there.💕 I think he makes her his personal masseuse 🤣, but she also plays his toys with him and did enriching activities to keep our boy’s mind engaged. We totally trust Maria and highly recommend her!”

“Linda is incredible! This was our first experience using Rover and having Linda stay at our house to watch our three dogs for a week. Linda is kind and responsible. I felt at ease after meeting her. She communicated and sent pictures daily. We came home to a very clean home and three happy puppies. Linda went above and beyond what we expected. This was 100% better than boarding. I feel like Linda is part of our family and will definitely be a return customer.”

“Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of our senior husky/shepherd mix while we were out of town for the weekend! He loved her the moment he met her at our meet and greet. She took him on multiple daily walks and gave him his food and meds on schedule. She always asked for clarification when needed, was very communicative and sent photo updates. We came home to a clean house and a cute framed pic of him that she took while she was here. Very thoughtful! So happy we found such a great dog sitter we can rely on!”

“Natalia was truly the BEST Rover sitter we could have ever hoped for. From the moment we left, she was incredibly communicative, responsive, thoughtful, and caring — and she treated our home and fur babies like they were her own. We have three dogs and a cat, and every single one of them was so loved and well cared for while we were away. One of our pups ended up having an unexpected flea issue and was super itchy while she was staying with them, and Natalia immediately stepped in and handled everything with so much care and compassion. She bathed all three dogs, made sure they were comfortable, and kept us updated every step of the way. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and loving hands. On top of taking amazing care of the animals, she went completely above and beyond with our home. She did laundry, swept, cleaned, remade the bed, and left the house better than we left it. You can genuinely tell she is the kind of person who respects and cares for other people’s space. Natalia is kind, trustworthy, attentive, responsible, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We felt so comfortable having her in our home and caring for the members of our family we love most. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. Anyone looking for a sitter who will love your pets deeply, communicate wonderfully, and care for your home with incredible respect should book her immediately. She is an absolute gem and we would trust her again in a heartbeat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, so I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I am attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether that means keeping up with an energetic puppy, giving extra patience to shy pets, or providing gentle care for senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. I’m also detail-oriented and make sure pet parents stay updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. I value reliability, communication, and making sure every pet feels loved, secure, and happy while you’re away. As a full-time nursing student, my schedule has taught me how to be responsible, attentive, and organized with caring for others. When I’m not in class or at clinicals, I dedicate my time to caring for your pup or cat and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I always strive to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions so their care stays consistent while you’re away. In a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself by keeping things clean, calm, and organized. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh water, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of affection. I also make sure pet parents stay updated with pictures and messages for peace of mind. I understand that every pet is different. Some pets love active play and long walks, while others need patience, reassurance, or quieter companionship, especially senior pets or shy animals. My goal is always to help pets feel relaxed, cared for, and happy while their owners are away.

About: Dog lover! I’ve been caring for dogs for about 3 years and it’s been very rewarding. I’m very friendly and caring, I love to cuddle and show affection towards all animals. I like parks and being outiside so your dog will have a lot of outdoor fun. I love the company dogs provide after a long day. I’m very careful and cautious when it comes to dog/human interactions. I am very aware that people can be afraid of dogs so I try to make sure that your pet will be in a dog friendly environment. I enjoy what I do and I plan to exceed your expectations when it comes to caring for your pet. I cannot wait to start loving and bonding with your dog. I work full time but have a flexible schedule. Usually home by 4pm. If your pet is at my home I like to stop by between 12pm-2pm for walks, potty break, and cuddles. I also have security to ensure safety while away. I live in a quiet community with plenty of yard space and sidewalks. If I am at your home I will make sure to follow all of you instructions thoroughly and leave it nice and clean.
“Hailey is INCREDIBLE. She was so nice and caring with my pet. She goes the extra mile. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and would totally request her services again. Loved her!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Plymouth
Marisa and her son were absolutely amazing. They met all my expectations and needs watching over my babies while I was gone for my anniversary trip. I especially loved that she kept contact and let me know how the cats were doing with pictures included (kept me at ease, especially since I'm an anxious pet parent). I appreciate her dedication, communication, and passion for animals and especially meeting our needs. Thank you!!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Mount Plymouth walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Mount Plymouth maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mount Plymouth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
