About: I am new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for the best creatures this planet has to offer! There are genuinely not enough words to express my love for the beings that love us more than we could ever fathom! I have two cats currently and one of my babies is a senior cat I recently adopted at 9 years old. She has lung issues and I’ve been navigating taking care of her needs while showing both of my babies the attention they deserve. I also had a dog for 13 years before that and he was / will always be the love of my life. I currently work part time and go to school full time but my schedule is very organized and because of school I have the time to hang out with the fur babies while doing school work or finishing up assignments in between so it is a win/win! My care for any pet starts with love! When taking care of our dearest I assess what they need along with any specific instructions that were given. With animals you follow their lead and go with the flow that they give you. Not over thinking and just enjoying the furry friend I have the pleasure of spending time with really sums everything up.

About: Hello fellow animal lovers, I have experience with pet sitting many animals (even up to 4+ in one household). I am capable of playing with, feeding, watering, and caring for your pets. I have lots of patience and love being around animals. I love meeting many lovable pups and kitties as I don’t have any of my own yet. I would take care for your lovely pets as you would yourself. I’m usually flexible with time, though I have another full time job as well. I am looking for forward to caring for your pets to interact and learn more about different breeds and well as help me make a little extra money for my education! Thank you so much for considering me! My work has me off one week at a time and most every Friday night to Sunday early morning. I can be home with them majority of the day as needed or take them on long walks and hikes as I love to do that in my own free time. I maintain a clean living space and provide enjoyable interactions with pets both inside and outside the home. When leaving the house I make sure to go through a checklist of things needed to be done to make sure the house is exactly as I found it. Harnesses and leashes always put on to go outside, doors locked and pets in protected spaces they need to be when I have to say goodbye.

“Amy is the perfect house guest, let alone dog sitter. She took the best care of Abbie even when she had a run in with a SNAKE in my apartment. Instead of fleeing far far away from the scene (like I would do), she handled it in stride, and I cannot express how nice it was to not have to stress about this situation while on vacation and come home to one happy puppy and a snake free home. Not only did this occur, but Abbie can sometimes be hard to handle in different situations (i.e., meeting other dogs, children, strangers) yet another thing Amy took in stride, and they had a ball of a time. When we had the meet and greet with Amy she asked typical "mom dog" questions, so I knew she could handle just about anything. Also, if you have something special you are working on with your dog she is more than happy to work with them! I have no doubt we will be using Amy again and again while we are near her and I will recommend her to many others in need of a loving sitter, such as Amy. She was kind, professional, well-spoken, and was very good with the dogs. Both our dogs are rescues and one has severe anxiety, especially around strangers. Tyla was patient and kind and it took Sadie no time at all to warm up to her! It was very comforting to know our dogs and house were in good hands while we were away. Tyla also gave daily updates and photos which were very nice as we really miss them when we are away. She took great care of the house as well and it was very neat and tidy when we arrived home. So nice after a long trip! We will definitely use Tyla in the future and would recommend her highly!”

About: I recently graduated college and am looking to earn some extra money while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I’m newer to Rover, but I have experience caring for friends’ pets, including feeding and checking in on cats, and I’m excited to build more experience! I’m reliable, punctual, and attentive to your pet’s needs. I have a cat of my own who I love with my whole heart, so I understand how important it is to feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely and do my best to give your pet the care and attention they deserve. I’d also love to take your dog on a fun, safe walk! I’m happy to follow their usual routine, whether that’s a relaxed stroll, getting some energy out, or simply enjoying some fresh air and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I currently work full-time, but I usually work T-F from 7:00-5:30. I am available weekends and before/after work to check in on pets. I can keep a clean environment for pets, giving them anything they need and being mindful of owner requests. I like to make sure the animal has a stress free environment where they can eat, sleep, etc., and do everything they would normally do under their owners care. I do my best to keep them out of trouble they may get themselves into without my supervision. Beyond that, lots of pets and love!

About: I have lifelong experience caring for pets and have owned animals of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. I’m an active foster who has helped place six dogs into permanent homes, and I regularly volunteer at local shelters. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medical and special needs, including torn ACLs, allergies, skin conditions, and visual impairments in both young and senior dogs. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00–3:00 PM and am available for walks and check-ins before and after work. I’m happy to discuss additional needs and do my best to accommodate. It is a possibly to do mid-day walks if I have the means to coordinate around my work. My dog is my world (and she may or may not run the house!). She’s allowed on the furniture and enjoys a 30-minute walk every day, rain or shine. The care I provide for your pet will be based entirely on your preferences—whether that means treating them like my own or strictly following your established routines. I’m flexible and happy to provide most services.

About: Since 10 years ago I’ve enjoyed giving attention to dogs and cats and making them feel happy, active, safe, and giving the attention they want. I am self employed and sole business owner so jumping to a dog or cat need is easy for my schedule. I have high accountability and professionalism being a financial entrepreneur and loving dogs and cats as a side hobby here. I scan the environment and see what they like to do, I watch their behavior and compliment it or help guide them for behavior or their needs. Studying them and then making sure they feel happy, active, safe, and attention given!
