About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a middle school teacher during the day, but mornings before school, after im done, and weekends are my prime time. I am willing to get up early to check on your pet in the mornings, board and daycare throughout the week as needed. I am currently with my mom and dad so there is always someone at home for potty breaks and snuggles. We would love to have your pet stay with us or just come for a day! I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. Finding out what an animal likes and disliked has created an environment of trust and ease in my home. I love when they can roam and explore and relax as they need.

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, from puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs I've been around them all! I've also regularly watched dogs and cats for my friends and family. I am currently a student so I am able to care for pets in the morning and after 6:00pm. On the weekends I have more flexibility in my schedule. I will follow your instructions to the letter. About: I am new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for the best creatures this planet has to offer! There are genuinely not enough words to express my love for the beings that love us more than we could ever fathom! I have two cats currently and one of my babies is a senior cat I recently adopted at 9 years old. She has lung issues and I’ve been navigating taking care of her needs while showing both of my babies the attention they deserve. I also had a dog for 13 years before that and he was / will always be the love of my life. I currently work part time and go to school full time but my schedule is very organized and because of school I have the time to hang out with the fur babies while doing school work or finishing up assignments in between so it is a win/win! My care for any pet starts with love! When taking care of our dearest I assess what they need along with any specific instructions that were given. With animals you follow their lead and go with the flow that they give you. Not over thinking and just enjoying the furry friend I have the pleasure of spending time with really sums everything up.
“Amy is the perfect house guest, let alone dog sitter. She took the best care of Abbie even when she had a run in with a SNAKE in my apartment. Instead of fleeing far far away from the scene (like I would do), she handled it in stride, and I cannot express how nice it was to not have to stress about this situation while on vacation and come home to one happy puppy and a snake free home. Not only did this occur, but Abbie can sometimes be hard to handle in different situations (i.e., meeting other dogs, children, strangers) yet another thing Amy took in stride, and they had a ball of a time. When we had the meet and greet with Amy she asked typical "mom dog" questions, so I knew she could handle just about anything. Also, if you have something special you are working on with your dog she is more than happy to work with them! I have no doubt we will be using Amy again and again while we are near her and I will recommend her to many others in need of a loving sitter, such as Amy. About: I have lifelong experience caring for pets and have owned animals of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds.
