About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a middle school teacher during the day, but mornings before school, after im done, and weekends are my prime time. I am willing to get up early to check on your pet in the mornings, board and daycare throughout the week as needed. I am currently with my mom and dad so there is always someone at home for potty breaks and snuggles. We would love to have your pet stay with us or just come for a day! I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. Finding out what an animal likes and disliked has created an environment of trust and ease in my home. I love when they can roam and explore and relax as they need.

About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I understand that a pet's physical needs are important, but I also know that pet's emotional needs are important. When taking care of your fur-baby, I try to love him/her as much as you do! I never had a dog or cat of my own growing up, which just makes it even more special for me to be able to care for yours as though it is my own. About: I have years of experience going into homes and adjusting my schedule to try and keep pet care as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ve watched animals of many kinds and many ages. I always meet your pets before we make a firm plan to make sure it will be a good fit for both your animals and me. It’s important you’re able to enjoy a worry free trip knowing your pets are not stressed out in your absence. I do work full time and am mostly interested in helping you for a weekend getaway. I have an hour lunch break so it’s feasible to help with weekdays in the right location. Weekdays are more for helping second shift workers with walks and potty breaks as I can pop in after my own work day ends at 4:30. I do my best to stick to pet routines outlined by the client. It’s worth noting, I will generally not let your dogs off leash in an area without a fence. I will not risk them not returning to me. Exceptions are case by case based on dog training.

About: I grew up in a cat household and I've had cats my entire life. Some of my first memories are of our beloved siamese. Our second cat was a loveable orange tomcat. After he passed, we rescued a little orange lady off the streets, and she's now over 20 years old. I currently have two calico girls who keep me busy.

About: I am new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for the best creatures this planet has to offer! There are genuinely not enough words to express my love for the beings that love us more than we could ever fathom! I have two cats currently and one of my babies is a senior cat I recently adopted at 9 years old. She has lung issues and I’ve been navigating taking care of her needs while showing both of my babies the attention they deserve. I also had a dog for 13 years before that and he was / will always be the love of my life. I currently work part time and go to school full time but my schedule is very organized and because of school I have the time to hang out with the fur babies while doing school work or finishing up assignments in between so it is a win/win! About: ** I am a good fit for your pet if your dog is -a higher energy dog -good with children -and is kennel trained I grew up on a small farm caring for animals since I was a small child. However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Due to me spending the most time with training and playing with Opie out of all the members in our little family, his big personality made his way into my heart. He is my buddy and I love taking him for walks, bike rides, park dates, and off leash adventures. I’ve come to love and appreciate tending to Opie and others dogs belonging to family and friends. About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a middle school teacher during the day, but mornings before school, after im done, and weekends are my prime time. I am willing to get up early to check on your pet in the mornings, board and daycare throughout the week as needed. I am currently with my mom and dad so there is always someone at home for potty breaks and snuggles. We would love to have your pet stay with us or just come for a day! I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. About: Okay, as a cat person… I see a need: where are all the cat babysitters?! Lots of dog lovers out there (I’m one, too), but the cats totally get left behind and they need all the love, too. Am I right? (Hehe.) In steps me. I have provided pet care services for many years for both cats and dogs. I can do drop-ins and dog walking and boarding! For the cat owners: I love my cat soooooo much and I’ve realized it’s kind of hard finding cat people on here to help with as much love as I would give so I wanted to be a person to offer that love and to help with your fur kitties when I can. For cat & dog owners: Pet care has always been a part of my life. Most recently I've cared for a cutie ragamuffin kitty in my home (boarded for a week) and two adult cats (making home visits), boarded another adult cat (a 4-week stay), took care of a younger Vizsla (full-time, while a nanny), stayed overnight in-home with two Dachshunds (one week), and also provided in-home, overnight care to the cutest cat and dog duo (6-night stay), amongst others. In the midst of all this pet care, I rescued my own kitty—Oscar (who has since passed 😞). Now I volunteer at our local animal shelter.
