“Callie is excellent!! She is very responsive and took our Shih Tzu Cooky on very short notice. She kept us updated with pictures. I knew without a doubt after leaving Cooky, she was in the best hands possible. We were able to enjoy our weekend without any worries and highly recommend Callie. Thank you Callie!”

“Jayme is our favorite dog sitter we have ever used! She was so sweet & our dog just loved being there with her and her family. We will absolutely be using her again in the future! 10/10 recommend! Can’t say enough good things about her. If you are on the fence about booking or are looking around at who to use, absolutely go with her and you won’t regret it.”

“Rachel was wonderful! My cat had never been away from me so she had a difficult time. Rachel kept me up to date the entire time that she had her. She went above and beyond!”

“Traveling and leaving your sweet baby behind can be stressful enough. I would wholeheartedly entrust Mark, Stephanie and Ghost to watch over my sweet girl 1000 times over again. They are nothing short of amazing and have certainly embraced their calling. They ensured that my sweet girl was loved on and cared for like their own during the week that she stayed with them. We received the kindest words and sweetest pictures while we were away. 11/10 ⭐️”

“Lexie was amazing! She took such great care of my boy, Bandit. He’s only a year and a half and still very much a big, hyper puppy—but she handled him perfectly. I loved getting daily updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and living his best life. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

“Asheia had 5 dogs to handle and care for during our 1st five day experience of caring for our very pampered pooch (She said she could tell she was spoiled, haha! True!) and appeared very alert and aware of all the different personalities of those in her care, keeping an eye on which ones get along and acting accordingly keeping them all safe. Safe is the key word here...we all want to enjoy our getaway knowing our pets are in a safe place, and that it was. I would give a 5 star rating except her phone was acting up not allowing for but only one photo in 5 days, yet she tried! But it made me a nervous wreck being 10 hours away. I was only hesitant at first realizing Chloe wasn't going to have a yard to run about, which she's used to, but now I'm preferring the tight quarters knowing the dogs are watched from all angles, again being kept safe! I would love for Asheia to watch our girl again. Thanks Asheia!”

“my dogs LOVE mia and their family! i usually get home from a trip and get the cold shoulder or anxiety from my boys. this time i think they miss mia as much as they missed me! mia sent me frequent photos and in every single one my boys were having a blast 🧡 i could tell mia really cared about their wellbeing! their medication schedules and my one boy being on prescription food makes me nervous about going to a kennel with so many dogs that they could potentially get looked over. no shade to those businesses but with senior dogs needing specialized care im so grateful we found mia. will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Caitlin was absolutely wonderful. She was able to work with me with fluctuating dates and pick up issues by my daughter. I am out of the country and Internet is spotty. I sent the review last week but it did not transmit. Caitlin's family helped my pups feel safe and loved. Thanks again.”

“Lauryn was amazing with our dog, Buttercup. We boarded her for seven days while we were on our cruise, and Lauryn took excellent care of her the entire time. She kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us real peace of mind. Buttercup was happy, comfortable, and well loved. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Angela took great care of Kian! She sent me plenty of pictures, took him for long walks, and made sure his stay felt like a vacation too! I’ll absolutely be booking with her in the future.”

“Our babies had a blast in their hugh, hugh yard! I think our dogs wanted to stay because they felt so at home and could ran, ran, ran all day! We will definitely use Jim and Myrna again if and when we need a sitter.”

“My review is she was great! I trusted her from the get go, dogs don’t talk and he was so mad at me when I returned. Definitely not her fault. I will rebook because I trusted he had a great time. I think I will be booking her once a month for a day, and that will let Bear know, I will always come back!! Trust her, she’s great! And her daughter!”

“Glad to have found such a wonderful sitter in Dannah. She was so good sending daily pictures and updates on Cohen. I could tell he was having a great time. It’s good to be able to enjoy time away knowing that Cohen is well cared for and enjoying himself.”

“Denise took great care of my Chaco! She was very attentive and fast responding if I had any questions about him! Also, she sent many photos throughout the weekend that ensured he was doing alright! Will definitely book her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Moss Point
We couldn't be happier with the care our fur baby received! He came home in great spirits, happy, energetic, and clearly very well loved while we were away. We especially appreciated that he got plenty of exercise, including a one-mile run. In fact, when he got home, he was eager to keep going and kept begging to go back outside! It's obvious he was well taken care of and received lots of attention. We had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We highly recommend Montana for dog-sitting services and will definitely use her again!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
