“Asheia had 5 dogs to handle and care for during our 1st five day experience of caring for our very pampered pooch (She said she could tell she was spoiled, haha! True!) and appeared very alert and aware of all the different personalities of those in her care, keeping an eye on which ones get along and acting accordingly keeping them all safe. Safe is the key word here...we all want to enjoy our getaway knowing our pets are in a safe place, and that it was. I would give a 5 star rating except her phone was acting up not allowing for but only one photo in 5 days, yet she tried! But it made me a nervous wreck being 10 hours away. I was only hesitant at first realizing Chloe wasn't going to have a yard to run about, which she's used to, but now I'm preferring the tight quarters knowing the dogs are watched from all angles, again being kept safe! “my dogs LOVE mia and their family! i usually get home from a trip and get the cold shoulder or anxiety from my boys. this time i think they miss mia as much as they missed me! mia sent me frequent photos and in every single one my boys were having a blast 🧡 i could tell mia really cared about their wellbeing! their medication schedules and my one boy being on prescription food makes me nervous about going to a kennel with so many dogs that they could potentially get looked over. no shade to those businesses but with senior dogs needing specialized care im so grateful we found mia. will definitely be repeat customers!”

About: Ever since I was little, I've been raised around and myself raised dogs; starting with my family breeding CKC rat terriers, then rescuing an abused German shepherd, to my current dog being a Yorkie, I'm comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes. While not certified, I am working with clicker training my Yorkie and I can usually teach basic obedience commands; I am also comfortable with attempting to reinforce any behaviors you are trying to teach. I currently am not working but am a live-in helper for my grandmother. Besides taking her shopping and to appointments, I'm pretty open through out weekdays and weekends. While I am offering walking services mainly, I am comfortable following any instructions you might have for if I have to enter your home either to stay a few hours or just stop by for feedings and potty breaks. While I consider myself able to handle larger dogs, I cannot handle poorly trained large dogs that will drag me and dislocate my shoulder. If you are training the dog to walk more calmly on a leash, I feel comfortable reinforcing your training if it is safe to do so.

About: I grew up with our boxer, Sargent and our Great Dane, major. About: I've been taking care of animals since i was a child. As a professional, I have over eight years of animal boarding and dog training experience. I have experience in animal bathing, and administering medications for both cats and dogs. I love working with young animals, but i adore senior pets the most. I would love to take care of your baby! If you are interested in dog training just let me know. I'm experienced in balanced-dog training and have trained over a hundred dogs through housecalls and group classes. For a typical day, it's potty breaks and breakfast first thing in the morning. If I don't have any housecalls, I'll be home with your pet. Your pet will get potty breaks every 1.5 hours on minimum until their last potty break at 8 p.m. Your pet will get 2 walks a day either around your neighborhood or at a dog park. If I do have housecalls to attend to, my work day will cut short so your pet won't be alone for too long. If I'm doing a dog training housecall, the lesson is typically one hour. We will go over one or two commands at a time and we will train the dog until i feel that the client and dog have a good understanding of what's going on. I can usually cover over basic obedience in eight lessons. I try to schedule these lessons once every week, but its all based on the clients schedule. I never let your out of my sight while their are in my care. The only times I would ever leave pet would be to go to housecalls or gather supplies. I will take your pet on walks, training practice and provide them with a bath if you ask me or if they get too dirty while in my care.

With that being said as I am available to board a senior dog or special needs dog but I wouldn't prefer to have one at doggy day care on a regular basis until Max is older and has more training. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! Did the internship for a couple of months then got a job taking care of the dogs in the kennel for boarding. I did that for about 3 1/2 years. I also have two dogs of my own!
