“Veronica is the kindest, sweetest person on earth 🌎. At first, she kindly rub my furry baby head with gentle touch. My baby instantly feels the positive energy and shake his little tail. Seems like they know when they are in good hands 🙌 Veronica is one of the best dog trainer.”

“Lauren has been caring for our crazy Golden Retriever puppy for the last few months. She has watched her grow up and they have a special bond. Leia goes crazy when Lauren walks in. She is always available when needed and gets back to us super quick. She even messages me to see if we need her, to which we usually do. Leia and I both appreciate her help.”

“AMAZING! My dogs are picky and they absolutely adore her and look forward to her coming. Im out of town for work and hired her as a dog walker and she has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND! I will 100% be booking her again and referring her to everyone!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, having grown up in the countryside where caring for them was a natural part of daily life. My childhood was spent riding horses and sharing my home with Great Danes, pugs, and cats. For the past five years, I have provided attentive and reliable care for dogs and cats throughout the Nay Aug Park, Scranton, Clarks Summit, and Lake Ariel areas. At home, I care for my own animals on ten peaceful acres near Moscow, Pennsylvania, including an Arabian horse, five ducks, and two cats. I am deeply committed to the well-being of every animal entrusted to me and take great pride in treating them with the same love, patience, and attention as I do my own. I would be delighted to ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. I work independently from home in documentary film, which allows me a highly flexible schedule throughout the mornings and daytime—one that I am confident can be tailored to meet your needs I take great care to follow each owner’s specific instructions, recognizing that every pet and household has its own unique needs. I am diligent about maintaining established routines, understanding how important consistency is for animals and their well-being.

“Fantastic! We did a walk at her home. Our dogs have never been to anyone else's home. They were comfortable and acclimated nicely. They are so comfortable with her.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I have been around animals my entire life, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My own dog has since passed away, but I helped care for him throughout his later years, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and providing extra comfort and support. Because of this experience, I am comfortable giving medications, helping pets stick to their routines, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and affection. Whether that means going on walks, playing fetch, providing activities, sticking to feeding schedules, or simply spending quality time cuddling and keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Since I am currently a college student and school is out, I have a lot of free time and a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. I also work as a babysitter, but Rover is my top priority job. I make sure to schedule my time carefully so that every pet receives the care, attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, or simply spending quality time together, I am committed to providing reliable and attentive care. Because of my flexible availability, I can easily accommodate different routines and help pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently have three cats who, despite not paying rent, are very well taken care of! Caring for them is a big part of my daily routine. I make sure they receive their daily feedings, fresh water, interactive playtime, plenty of attention, and daily litter box cleanings to keep their environment clean and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible so their pets feel safe and comfortable. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, administering medications if needed, and providing lots of love and companionship. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel cared for while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide dependable care, maintain a clean environment, and treat every pet as if they were my own.
“BreeAnn is the best!! We are so grateful to have found her and will be reaching out to her whenever we go away. My brother and I needed someone to walk our dogs while we were away, because our mom broke her leg. It was immediately clear from BreeAnn’s first meetings with our dogs that she understands animals. She was so patient and calm with our dogs, they warmed up to her almost immediately and trusted her. She was also understanding of their quirks and boundaries/needs, was so sweet with them, and sent the best pictures! Our dogs were so excited every time she came over. Given my mom’s broken leg, she was home bound and there whenever BreeAnn came to walk the dogs. BreeAnn was extremely considerate of my mom’s schedule and let her know when she was on her way each day. She also corrected a booking error on the app that resulted in a refund for me. So not only is she a great animal person, she is also just overall trustworthy. We can’t say enough how thrilled we (including the dogs!) are with BreeAnn. We absolutely recommend her to anyone and their fur babies ?”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
