“Callia was a wonderful caretaker for my cat while I was away for the weekend. She was punctual and reliable. She was also flexible to some last minute changes that really helped me out! I definately recommend her for your fur baby!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, having grown up in the countryside where caring for them was a natural part of daily life. My childhood was spent riding horses and sharing my home with Great Danes, pugs, and cats. For the past five years, I have provided attentive and reliable care for dogs and cats throughout the Nay Aug Park, Scranton, Clarks Summit, and Lake Ariel areas. At home, I care for my own animals on ten peaceful acres near Moscow, Pennsylvania, including an Arabian horse, five ducks, and two cats. I am deeply committed to the well-being of every animal entrusted to me and take great pride in treating them with the same love, patience, and attention as I do my own. I would be delighted to ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. I work independently from home in documentary film, which allows me a highly flexible schedule throughout the mornings and daytime—one that I am confident can be tailored to meet your needs I take great care to follow each owner’s specific instructions, recognizing that every pet and household has its own unique needs. I am diligent about maintaining established routines, understanding how important consistency is for animals and their well-being.
“I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Victoria! This was the first I left me cats for an extended period (16 days) and the first I used Rover. Victoria was incredible to deal with and took great care of my 2 cats. Each day she spent time playing, feeding and cleaning up after them and also sent me 8-10 pics each day! Knowing she was caring foe my girls allowed be to enjoy the trip of a lifetime. I am so thankful I found her!”

“Lauren did an amazing job taking care of my “baby “ cat 😻, Arya. Lauren is by far the best pet sitter I’ve ever worked with. She was punctual, detailed oriented, and kept a daily thorough journal about her visit. She updated me daily how Arya was doing, took pictures every day; which greatly reassured me that she was in excellent hands. Lauren truly loved animals and took care of Arya as if it was her own. She spent daily over 30-40 minutes per visit, playing with my cat and provided for her needs. I would 💯 % recommend Lauren for your “fur baby” and would be thrilled to use her again. Thank you Lauren for your excellent care.”

“Took great care of our girl, our 8 year old Labrador. Treated her so kindly and with complete professionalism. We were able to be at ease while away knowing Freya was with her. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. I look forward to meeting your pets!
About: I have grown up with lots of dogs from small to large! I own a dog myself, a turtle and fish! Most of my experience is with dogs but I’m a fan of all animals! Willing to care for any needs you require. I am a stay at home Mom that has lots of availability! I am available morning, afternoon and evenings! I have a car of my own to get to your pet whenever needed! I do not do any in house care. I am willing to do all of your needs at your home! Walks, feedings, cuddles, playing, etc!
About: I currently have a dog and have had both dogs and cats my whole life. I love walking and animals so I figured this would be great second job. I am willing to discuss any arrangement that works for you and both of our animals. I am currently working part time and have time to drop in for walks, water plants, etc. Evening shift is better for me . Weekends anytime. My schedule varies. If you work 3 to 11 weekdays I am a perfect fit. I will care for your pet in your home. If walks are needed that is fine. If just outside play.. that will be fine. I am flexible
“Madison took great care of our boys when we were out of town. She knew exactly how to win their trust. All instructions left for our doggies care were followed. We will definitely reach out to Madison for any future doggy sitting needs. Thank you for looking after are boys. Yoda and Panda say HI!”

About: I’ve checked in on multiple pets before. Friends and my own family and relatives message me to come in, walk their dog, feed and give them water, and keep them company for a while! I love pets so when I found out I could get paid for it, I was astounded! I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, with tender love and care. I am a working college student at the moment, so I would be working part time. I would make time for my clients though, especially how I often have time in between my classes and I also have time after school during the week and on weekends. While I currently do not offer pets in my home, I will respect your home by keeping it clean and untouched by the time I leave. Now I will keep your pet company if that is the service you’d like and by doing so, we might empty their toys on the ground and play for a bit. That being said, it will be cleaned up and so will messes made by their food or water before I leave the house as well.
“Kayla was great! From the first time she stopped by to meet Luna, I felt comfortable leaving Luna in Kayla's care. She took photos to show me anything important and Luna seemed happy and healthy when I came back. I'm very happy and would definitely recommend Kayla. I will absolutely be rebooking her next time I go away.”

About: My name is Matthew and I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a 100lb Labrador who’s not just my pet—he’s my best buddy. We walk, hike, play, and explore every day, rain or shine! I understand how much your furry friends mean to you, and I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—with love, patience, and plenty of exercise. Whether you need regular walks, help on busy days, or just want your pup to get some extra attention, I’m here to help! Reliable. Experienced. I currently work full time from home but I’m very active so I keep my dog active with me. We are up at 5am everyday going for runs/walks. On breaks we always get outside to enjoy the weather and allow him to use the bathroom if needed. After work if I’m not busy I love to take him to the dog park or on another walk around the neighborhood. So I’m available every weekday from 5am-8am and after work from 6pm-9pm I have a big open yard that I have an electric fence for my dog to go out as he needs with or without me. When leaving the yard he gets his harness put on and a leash with poop bags. We walk on the sidewalk at all times. We stop and sit before looking to see if we can cross the road.
“Olivia was an amazing sitter. She took time to introduce herself to Sophie, our Jack Russell. All of the directions we had on our list were followed to a “T”. Sophie warmed up to Olivia and played, too. I would highly recommend Olivia -she is punctual and sent photos and updates with each drop in. All in all she did a great job.”

“Hailey did a great job of taking care of our cat! We were able to schedule house sitting for the week on short notice. Cat's food and water was full, and the litterboxes were clean. House was in a great condition as well. We received timely and consistent updates and photos. Cat was in a good mood upon our return. Would recommend Hailey to others.”
About: I’ve been a dog owner for 8 years, but a dog lover my whole life. Growing up without a dog, it was my dream to one day not only own a dog, but to care and love for all animals. As soon as my husband and I bought our own place to live, we knew adding a dog to our family would be first on our list. We now have 2 sweet, high energy labrador retrievers. Our yellow one, named Copper, was born in 2016 and our black one, named Buddy, was born the following year. We have had both dogs since they were about 7 weeks old. I also have experience in care of small dogs too. My parents have had 2 shih-tzus since 2012 & 2013 and I’ve occasionally cared for them, more so when I was in college. (But I see and play with them on a regular basis) I have some small farm animals in our backyard. I have had 2 Nigerian dwarf goats since 2022 and chickens since 2024. I currently am a stay at home mom of two little ones, but I work part time during the week 2 days. My schedule is flexible, but I’m mostly open on the weekends Friday afternoon through Monday night. I will care for your pets the same way I care for my pets, with lots of love and lots of attention. In my home, our dogs sleep on the bed with us, lay on the couch with us, get lots of snuggles and lots of play time outside.

I have a large fenced in yard they could run around in. I have about 10 years of pet care experience (walking, feeding, potty breaks, etc). I will walk your pup as often as you like. Being a pet owner I understand what an important part of the family our dogs are, and would provide the best care possible. I have owned dogs my entire life, and will treat your fur baby like it is my own and we'll have the best time! I will always keep you updated with pictures & status updates :) I am very patient, responsible, and punctual.... I can't wait to meet you and your pup! Looking forward to hearing from you! My schedule is really open and flexible right now. I can make myself available anytime during 8AM - 5PM but I can be flexible if needed. As a remote worker and proud cat parent, I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, playtime, and regular check-ins. Whether it’s giving morning meds, refreshing food and water, or simply providing some companionship, I enjoy making animals feel safe and loved. Caring for pets isn’t a chore—it’s a rewarding part of my everyday life. In both settings, I prioritize open communication with pet owners to understand each pet’s unique needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and caring experience for every pet.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Moscow
I needed a drop in visits for my dog Katie because of her health issues and found a gem! She was a carpet saver in more ways than one. Katie got her pee break, but one day, Callia voluntarily cleaned a messy carpet from Katie's boo boo belly. She was more than willing to help mitigate damages. Thats a special! Callis showed up on time and was super communicative. Thank you for your help, Callia!!
Stasia is one of a kind and I am so thankful for her. She truly went above and beyond - providing updates throughout the week when she was letting our guy out and spending some quality time with him. I will absolutely be utilizing her services in the future. Thank you, Stasia

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
