I have the most experience with small/medium dogs but have occasional experience with larger dogs. I'm currently a full time teacher so I would be available after school August-May and any time through June to the beginning of August. I have experience with a diabetic animal as well, and gave insulin shots for four and a half years to our Pug, Bill. I promise you will get photos and updates during your pet’s stay, and I will not compromise on keeping them safe and secure at all times. We only watch one dog from one family at once, but I will watch two to three dogs from the same family. I will bathe, nail trim, and brush any breed. I will walk them at least twice a day, for about a mile each time, if your dog can handle that physically. I always listen to your animals needs and will honor them. We have a family pet named Ted. He is a three year old Pug. He gets along well with every animal he has ever encountered. We would insist on a new boarding client coming over for a meet and greet first. I would be able to care for your pets in our home. We do not have a fenced yard. I typically will put pets on leashes for their potties and walks unless the owner tells me they are comfortable with them going out with me into the yard for a potty unleashed.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals on my family’s small farm including three dogs, chickens, a pig, sheep, and bees! I’ve always loved dogs and got my first dog before I can remember. Two of our family dogs are hyper cattle dogs that have required lots of training, so I’m no stranger to the zoomies! One of our dogs is a rescue and arrived to us with anxiety and Lymes disease among other issues. I know how far a little extra love for our dogs can go! I care for my dogs at home every day with walks and cuddles. I love to go on walks anyways and would love to take other dogs along with me. I’m able to take my pets and others on walks and have a dog sleeve for my car in case of emergencies or outings. I’m familiar with pet medications and many types of food.

I am usually home and very flexible for last minute in-home visits and walks We have a fairly large yard that we plan on fencing in but in the meantime, we have a line that can be clipped onto the dogs collar.
