As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”

About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

“Once again Cori made me feel really good about leaving my pups in her care. She’s a doll to work with. As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”
“Leslie is incredibly kind and attentive. She took my dog out for a lot of exercise, and kept him happy and safe while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. I would definitely recommend her to others, and plan to book with her again in the future.”
“This was our first time with Jennifer, and it was the best experience! Her dog Charolette has now become my girls best friend. Jennifer was very responsive and sent tons of pictures. “Matisa was amazing! She is so kind hearted and made me feel comfortable within minutes of meeting her so I was automatically at ease leaving my dog there - on very short notice by the way (so grateful!). I could tell Loki felt right at home with her family and family dog. He had a big yard to roam, which I’m sure he loved. Matisa sent updates and pictures often which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely book her again and again. Highly recommend!”
“We always try to book Traci when we’re leaving town. She is conscientious, flexible, and cheerful, and provides frequent updates with photos. We have no worries at all when we leave our pups with Traci. Our dogs love her, and she seems to really love them, too!”
“Laurie was exceptionally welcoming to Bruce! Got endless photos and updates and was very happy to see Bruce having an excellent time! Additionally Laurie was extremely accommodating as weekend plans had to be extended due to flight delays and such getting back into the local area. Laurie is very helpful and quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone as it is for certain your pet will be well taken care of.”
“She was awesome and I didn’t worry about Simon while we were away. It was the first time we left him so at first I was very nervous. Simon had separation anxiety during his stay and she was patient and understanding. She kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his stay with texts and pictures.
