About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026, and my significant other's dog to sleep in September 2026. We will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my "fix"! Live in Madison Lake with my significant other and am currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner when weather permits. I love to hang outside and read on the deck overlooking the lake, or work in the garden beds, so can take your dog on the leash outside too to be in the fresh air if they like that sort of thing. My first choice would be to host dogs in our house as we have a pretty good set up for dogs. But I'm willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter area for pet sitting or dog walking because I understand some dogs are just better off in their own space, if it's a short timeframe.
About: I have been a dog Grandma for the past 13 years and have taken care of and nurtured my "pet relatives". I am ready to take my skills and love of dogs "on the road". I am not available for pet care on Monday or Tuesday as I have a "human" Grandma gig, but am available for the rest of the week or long weekends. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs my whole life. I’ve had pretty chill dogs, rough dogs, and dogs that run away any chance they get. I’m prepared for any dog that I can take care of. I do have another job working an asphalt and sealcoat business. But we only work days when it’s not wet after rain or not raining at all. I work out a lot. Other than that I’m open at any time. And I can do over night. I feed my dogs and let them out whenever they need to be let out. If they need specific things such as to be kenneled or anything of that nature I can easily do. I can also keep company with the dogs and play with them.

About: I have had pets all while growing up. I have had two bigger dogs and I have a cat at my parents house. I have help neighbors watch and walk there dogs when they are gone. I am currently working part time which allows me to have a lot of flexibility. This allows me to have more time to care for animals. I make sure to walk or play with them regularly!
