Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. About: Hi, I am Joie, an experienced and caring pet sitter, dog foster, and owner of Dogwood Bed & Biscuit. I have had furry family members my whole life and have also been a dog foster for over 15 years. I just absolutely love all animals. I strive to provide a safe, fun home for the little dogs under 40 lbs. Ages 12 weeks to senior. I am experienced administering meds. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, and I have more toys than most pet stores, as well as dog beds scattered throughout the house. I also have a dog door to the backyard; dogs are welcome to come and go to enjoy the sun in a safe, fenced-in yard or stay inside snuggled in a cozy bed. I can provide a kennel if the owner prefers. I do work downtown in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but am home all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. I have had different types of animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamster, bearded dragon. We did a meet and greet with Morgan & Jennifer and they were absolutely incredible. They immediately treated Murphy like she was their own dog. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have one resident (foster fail!) dog: Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who loves people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pup is allowed on our bed if she chooses, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow dogs on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.

About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026, and my significant other's dog to sleep in September 2026. We will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my "fix"! Live in Madison Lake with my significant other and am currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner when weather permits. I love to hang outside and read on the deck overlooking the lake, or work in the garden beds, so can take your dog on the leash outside too to be in the fresh air if they like that sort of thing. My first choice would be to host dogs in our house as we have a pretty good set up for dogs. But I'm willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter area for pet sitting or dog walking because I understand some dogs are just better off in their own space, if it's a short timeframe.

I am home full time so I am able to be with your dog and provide potty and play breaks several times during the day. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company! I am home full time so your dog will never be alone.

About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. I've always had a pet dog/cat or both.. currently both. My schedule is currently very open daily, weekly, weekends very flexible. I intend to prioritize pet care in hopes of building a good business base for the near future. Pets in my care get all the love and attention. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.

About: I’ve taken care of my Tibetan Mastiff since before I can remember, and I’m my go-to neighborhood dog walker/caretaker. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs! I’m currently an online student at MNSU, so anytime during the weekday for boarding and walking is entirely open. Weekends work for specific dates and times. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I love taking care of animals. Whether it’s bathing, feeding, walking, or just sitting with a dog, I love to be there. I have grown up with a fear reactive dog, so I have experience with reading dog’s body language and reacting accordingly.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all through my life, including chihuahuas, a yorkie, pit bulls, a dachshund mix, labs, rat terriers, and more. I love to create warm environments for doggos and give them space to be themselves. I currently work part time, but I can pet sit Fridays-Sundays and Thursday afternoons at times. I may be able to do drop-ins during the week. I can dog sit at the client’s houses and am willing to help crate train, gives baths, walks, and provide other various care services. I might be able to at my apartment, but have a dog myself and would likely need a meet and greet.

About: We have had the pleasure of owning a small business called "Pet-Inn" and boarded many dogs! Me and my mom took care of others dogs for quite some time and really enjoyed it. This experience helped me become passionate about entrepreneurship as well as working towards a compassionate connection with your pets! I currently have a part-time small business I'm running apart from being a "SAHM" so I will have plenty of time to get to know your beloved pet and get to know them so I can take care of them in the best way I know possible! I have some free time in my schedule, so finding a slot during the week to care for your pet works well for us. I have a now 6-year-old who adores small dogs, cats, and other animals! I am well aware of the responsibilities of pet care, but I want to emphasize that your pet's safety is my top priority.

I’m happy to adjust to their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule so they can feel as comfortable as possible. Having another furry friend around would be a welcome addition to our day! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾
