About: Hi, I'm Mel! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: My Daughter is big time dog lover. She is 10 years old and loves walking and playing with dogs. Short walks and long walks as well as walking to a park to play fetch or run around. My wife or myself will be with her at all times during walks. Dogs can be walked most days after 4pm and some weekend mornings. This is set up for my 10 year old Daughter to walk dogs. She is a dog lover but our busy summer schedule does not allow us to have a dog again. My wife or myself will be with her at all times during the walk. Dog walking only. We are not set up to have dogs in our home at this time. Thank you for understanding. Walking only at this time.

About: I have grown up with 1-2 dogs since I was 5 years old and helped my parents train our second dog when I was 11. I love watching my parents dogs whenever they need and I have two dogs of my own that are my fur babies. I am a nurse who works 3 days a week and every third weekend so I usually have most of the week available. I love dogs and would really enjoy this experience in my free time. I have a fenced in yard and have two dogs of my own. I also have a kennel if needed, and can section off parts of the house with dog gates.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, I know nothing other than dogs. Raised both boys and girls. Currently, raising a 105 lb., 3 year old red gold retriever Mowgli and loving it. He plays well with others! Until further notice, I’m open at all hours of the day. I usually start my day around 5 am to about 9 pm per my puppy’s routine. However, open to any at the time being. I am taking a short leave from my full time position. My home is a family home we’ve grown up in the last seven years or so- plush grass, friendly dog neighbors, friendly neighbors, a lot of exercise in walking (I’ve gone as far as a half marathon once, not saying that’s the plan though unless you’re looking to train for a half marathon of course… lol)

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. I don’t know what life is like without a furry companion! I have an 85 pound poodle mix. I have a good amount of experience with both young and old dogs. My 15 border terrier required many medications and special treatment. I have a lot of experience with dog and cat sitting as friends and neighbors have consistently counted on me to care for their beloved fur babies. I’m a very active individual who would love to take your dog for a walk, or even a run if they are up to it. I just graduated from UW Madison with my Masters. Currently home in De Pere until August! I have a very flexible schedule as I am not working until August. When staying at client’s homes I will do whatever makes the pet(s) and their owner’s feel most comfortable. I am the BIGGEST animal lover and will always put the pet’s priorities before mine! For dog walking, I will make sure the dog gets an adequate length of walk in relation to its size and its activity level. I am always willing to adjust my schedule in order to make the pet more comfortable and prioritized. I know how hard it is to be away from your pet, and because of this I will with no doubt give your pet so much attention and love!

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adore all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have fostered puppies and dogs which included medication administration. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I work full time during the week but have a fairly flexible schedule. Primarily available on the weekends to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs. I have a crate if needed. I will respect and follow any instructions when caring for your fur babies in your home. I will love and treat them like my own.

About: I will send regular updates along with photos so you are able to relax while you’re away. I am a nurse so if any medications need to be given I would have zero issues doing so. I work 3 days a week with the days varying each week. We would have to look at my schedule to make sure I’m available! About: I have several years of caring for many breeds of dogs. German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, mixed breeds, Golden Doodles, Retriever mix, Chugs. I have been honored to have several dogs that have lived into their senior years. Most recently taking care of my 15 year old Retriever mix. I’m currently working as a teacher. I am available evening and weekends. Come, June I will be available during the weekdays to care for your puppy, adult dog, or senior dog. I will provide your best friend with love and attention. We have a 12 year old Chug that just lost her best friend, Buster this spring at the age of 15. She would love some company.

About: I currently have one dog at home, and he loves to have friends during the day. He is an Aussie-doodle, and is very playful. He is almost 6 years old. I am excited to offer care for other pets in my home. Your pet will be loved just as much as Tracker while they are with me. I am patient with all animals and have been around them my entire life. I am able to take care of puppies as well as senior dogs as well. I have had a lot of practice with giving medications for dogs. I will ensure that your animals needs are met anytime they are within my home. I am more than happy to send updates and pictures as often as you would like so you know how they are adjusting and doing. I work from home and I am able to watch and play with animals during the day and after work. Our yard is fenced in and has a large backyard to play in. I have three girls that I bring to school from 715-8am and then pick them up from 230-330. On the weekends I am available the entire day as I do not work weekends. I have a large fenced in yard. Anytime the animals are outside they gate will be shut. I will also endure any small animals are on a leash as they are outside so they are watched after. During the day, the animals will be within eye sight as I work upstairs.

About: My partner Jonah and I are huge dog people, eager to take care of your fur baby! We unfortunately are not in a place yet to have our own, so we are using Rover as a way to spend some quality time with dogs in the area. Jonah grew up with dogs and is used to having them around. My family got a puppy named Ember several years ago that I am very familiar with caring for as well. Though we don’t have a dog in the house, we have watched a few dogs here and know it is a safe and welcoming environment for them. Jonah works a flexible job and can be home with the dog during the day, while I work as a teacher and am always home in the evenings and on weekends. Your fur baby will always have the attention and care that they need in our household! We are open to walking dogs, pet sitting, and overnight boarding, all of which we have experience with. About: I have taken care of all kinda of animal since i was a kid. I have worked at a doggy daycare for a few years and i now work at a pet store. I work full time but i am more than willing to do after and before work! I usually have a couple of days off in a row. I love animals and i would do anything that makes them happy. I would do all of the pets, cuddles, and play that they want and deserve. I will make sure they have food at specified times and make sure they have enough water at all times.

My experience dog sitting for family and friends has shown me that each furry friend deserves personalized attention and care. Animals have always been drawn to my calm, nurturing energy - just as I'm drawn to them! As a school district staff member (September-June) who is enrolled in college online, I have a flexible schedule and am home majority of the time. Summers are completely open! This means plenty of one-on-one time with your pup, consistent walks, and lots of attention. Whether you need regular bookings or last-minute care, I'm here to help! Your pup's safety is my priority! While I don't have a fenced yard, I provide supervised leashed potty breaks and plenty of exercise options. We enjoy walks on the Fox River State Trail or fun trips to the dog park. Your furry friend will have two friendly pups to socialize with, and can either cuddle on the bed or rest in their crate - whatever matches their home routine!
