About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: I have taken care of all kinda of animal since i was a kid. I have worked at a doggy daycare for a few years and i now work at a pet store. I work full time but i am more than willing to do after and before work! I usually have a couple of days off in a row. I love animals and i would do anything that makes them happy. I would do all of the pets, cuddles, and play that they want and deserve. I will make sure they have food at specified times and make sure they have enough water at all times.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adore all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have fostered puppies and dogs which included medication administration. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I work full time during the week but have a fairly flexible schedule. Primarily available on the weekends to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs. I have a crate if needed. I will respect and follow any instructions when caring for your fur babies in your home. I will love and treat them like my own.

About: I was born into a dog family and have been exposed to animals of all sorts starting at a very young age. I have had five dogs in my life. The one that meant the most to me was the one I raised myself. Her name was angel and I started raising her when I was only eight years old. My aunt had a litter of puppies and was giving them away to family and friends, I had gotten an Angel and since then she had been my best friend. Unfortunately, she passed away when I was 19 years old due to breast cancer, but she was my responsibility throughout her lifetime. I had only gotten her when she was a few weeks old, and I had the patience and caring heart to take care of her until the day that she passed. I also had a German Shepherd, a black lab, a pitbull /basset hound mix, and a pitbull who only had three legs. Each one of these animals has had a big impact on my life. I have also had many experiences taken care of other animals besides dogs and cats, including, not limited to snakes, wildlife, fish, hamsters, gerbils, birds, etc. I take special care to each animal that is in my responsibility because I believe that each animal should have their own individual cares met, as well as their own happiness and satisfaction met in life. I work full time as a Team Lead at Paragon Community Services. I work 8am-4pm Monday-Friday with no weekends or holidays. I am available on weekends and holidays unless I am scheduled as unavailable. I am also open to evening services after work :) I will always follow the owners instructions as that is my main priority. Any directions given to me will be well followed! I know crate training, walking on leashes, how to operate bark collars, really anything you will use for your pet and if I don’t I am always able to learn!

About: I have several years of caring for many breeds of dogs. German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, mixed breeds, Golden Doodles, Retriever mix, Chugs. I have been honored to have several dogs that have lived into their senior years. Most recently taking care of my 15 year old Retriever mix. I’m currently working as a teacher. I am available evening and weekends. Come, June I will be available during the weekdays to care for your puppy, adult dog, or senior dog. I will provide your best friend with love and attention. We have a 12 year old Chug that just lost her best friend, Buster this spring at the age of 15. She would love some company.
