Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions and joys in life, and the perfect way to supplement my income while I focus on my writing this summer. My 2-year old mixed pup, Wally, is 20 lbs and neutered. He loves people and pets and can come with me if everyone gets along, but can also stay with my mom no problem. I am responsible, communicative, and have extensive experience in pet care — from daily check-ins on a 90lb Pit-bill to administrating oral medications, managing dogs with separation anxiety to farm-sits and volunteering at animal shelters. Our pets are an important part of our family units, and providing the proper attention, affection, patience, and nurturing spirit has always come naturally to me. As well as following all instructions very carefully. It is also my priority to ensure you are confident in leaving them with me. I will always do in-person meet and greets beforehand so they will recognize me when I return. I will also send tons of pictures and videos and can even do FaceTimes so you can see how we're doing. I know it's hard being away from your pets so anything I can do to set your mind at ease is my pleasure :) I've been told I have a positive and loving energy that animals are drawn to. Each animal is unique with their own special little personality, and understanding and respecting that helps me build rapport. I realize what a sensitive (sometimes confusing) time being apart from their family can be, so it's really my top priority to be a great source of comfort and stability for them and to provide as much warmth and positive energy as I can. About: My name is Molly and I am an Ed Tech/BHP with availability and energy in the summer months. I have a four year old son and a ten year old dog, Zoe. Also popular in our household are Gracie, the seven year old bearded dragon, and Gus, the beta fish. This summer, I have an especially flexible schedule, but am happy to support you and your pet’s needs all year around. Although it is not my primary career focus, I have been involved in pet care for 20 years as a source of outside income and great passion. I use positive reinforcement training techniques with our three rescue dogs and I use worship all cats techniques with our cats 😆. I am great at reading animals and understanding the different personalities and quirks they each have so I can provide them with the best care that works for them 🧐 Every animal is different but they all deserve our best! I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: Animal Care Technician with extensive experience with dogs, cats and rodents. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I am currently not working and have a flexible schedule for anyone looking for booking! I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. My current schedule includes every day except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings due to current client bookings. I do not currently house any pets but I have owned dogs and cats for years before and have extensive experience caring for pets of family and friends.

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for about 3 years. I went to school and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I am also Pet CPR Certifed. I have my own pet/house sitting business and offer feline grooming! I work full time but am able to pet sit every night, on weekends and do checks on pets during the day, sometimes multiple times a day. About: I am a service dog handler for the past 7 years. I have been training and caring for dogs for over 10 years. I'm the go to person in my friends and family for training and care advice of animals big and small. I have owned and cared for everything from small snakes to rodents and horses. I have worked as a dog trainer, a horse trainer, a groom, and I have worked on dairy farms since I was 14. Every morning starts out with letting the dogs out and farm chores. Followed by breakfast for the dogs. After breakfast we do 30 minutes of rest in kennels while I feed the family. The rest of the day is spent with enrichment toys and puzzle games. Training is spaced out throughtout the day in 10-15 minute sessions. At 8pm the dogs are let out on last time then kennel and dinner time for the night. Our dogs are friendly and out going. We live in a very rural area on 81 acres of hiking trails and farm land to explore. The dogs are always watched when outside. We do have a wireless fence system for dogs that are trained on the e collar and long lines for dogs that are not off leash trained. We have experience crate and rotating dogs with aggression/reactivity problems. I have rehabilitated and socialized dogs with traumatic past.
