“Kind, patient, helpful, friendly, professional… Those are just some of the words I would use to describe Holly and Robert. I’m very thankful for their help with my standard poodle.”

“J Sue is a little melancholy by nature but she loves the days she gets to spend at Sam’s. As we get close to Sam’s, Jessie’s enthusiasm goes from about 20% to 100% from the time we turn on the street to time we get to the front door. A day at Sam’s can lift Jessie’s mood for days.”

“Kim is absolutely amazing & super accommodating! She takes very good care of our furry boys. Finch & Cash are always all smiles and tired from their play time with her :) I highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

“Amazing amazing amazing ! Very amazing communication and stormy absolutely loves her and her daughter ! The space is amazing for pets and love how many updates she gave”

“Esperita is perfect for my dog Molly! Molly is a Tijuana Rescue Cockapoo so she can be wary of new people and places and needs understanding and patience. Esperita took the time Molly needs and now they are fast friends! I am so lucky to have found her! I will be a regular user!!!”

“Daycare with James was awesome! My dog Addie was very comfortable at his house and I could tell she really enjoyed being around him. James was quick to respond to any of my questions and I will definitely be booking him for daycare again soon!”

“Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. She already misses her new friends. Thanks again, Charles! We will absolutely be booking again.”

“When I had Adam & Indy watch my dogs for the second time, my dogs and Indy were so happy to see eachother again like they missed eachother and one of my dogs even jumped on the couch to sit next to Adam to say hi. Clearly they were well taken care of and have new great friends! Definitely recommend Adam!!”

About: I've been a pet caretaker for most of my 45 years, but I only put 25 in the years experience because those adult years of my life have been most dedicated to pet care. I am a serial adopter of rescue animals, so I'm well versed in pet conditions that need special care. I don't crate our animals and I love them all unconditionally. If you have a pet that needs special attention or even a modicum of training, I'd be happy to help you take care of them. I'm a military veteran and author working from home. I spend my entire day spoiling my pets (I have both cats and dogs, and they get along well enough). I walk the dogs daily, sometimes more than once. The dogs get brushed regularly and the cats get brushed if they make an appearance or we can catch them. As mentioned earlier, I do not crate our pets. I prefer to let them roam, but I occasionally do block off certain areas of the house to prevent naughty behavior. The pets are always rewarded for good behavior with snacks.

About: I've had a dog as part of my family for as long as I can remember. I would walk, feed, and clean up after them as I grew up. At the age of 16, I found my pup, Tessa, at the Animal Humane and got my first job just so I could have her (Yes, I paid for everything for her by myself). Since then I have had her by my side through finishing high school, finishing my undergrad, moving cities and states. When I was finishing my undergrad I decided to get another pup so my girl could have a sibling especially once I started working full time. I got my boy, Haka, at six weeks old and now he is 6yrs. Growing up I use to walk my neighbors pug multiple times a week. When in high school we had multiple dogs in the household that required extra care and attention due to their different personalities and temperaments. With my dog being bigger than the other dogs in my family I had to take measures to ensure all of them remained safe. This mainly involved having different play times and feeding them separately. For example: One of the dogs was very territorial over toys and would lash out at any other dog that came around, however, this pup was the smallest one so it was essential for me to mitigate the opportunity for a bad situation. This involved monitoring the situation at all times when the toy was out, keeping the dogs separated, or removing the toys altogether. I’m currently shifting to a new career field, so I am at home full time and plan to be throughout summer. I am a very active person with two of my own high energy pups that love to play at home or the dog park and loves walks/runs. I live in a townhome that has a relatively small yard and have a dog door that allows for anytime potty breaks. I have a tall back fence completely enclosing the yard. I live with a mile of two parks and the walking path on Tramway, and a few miles from trails or the dog park. The safety of mine and your pets is the main priority, so transparency is very important. All animals have different personalities, and stress of a new environment can change how they behave so it’s important that I know how they may react so I can put proper measures in place to keep everyone safe.

“Kaila was great with our 4lb puppy! She took really good care of him and gave him the love and attention he desired. She went above and beyond with the puppy's potty training and food training. I can't thank her enough. Definitely recommend Kaila as a caregiver for your fur baby!”

“They did a wonderful job with Koko. They took her for a walk, gave her belly rubs and sent multiple updates and pics. She is a nervous girl and they were very reassuring. She seemed very well cared for and I would absolutely leave her with them again.”

About: i’ve been taking care of dogs since i was about 12. i used to take my pup princess with me to school. i stay at home with my pups and play fetch or take them into the field to roam around. i potty trained my dog princess and 3 weeks. i know how to make sure to stick to schedules when it comes to medicine. i’m currently a stay at home momma! i will always have time to give your pups the attention and love they need while your away!ex30: if your fur baby is crate trained i would just need their crate ! i would be able to always keep you updated on your fur baby’s and follow whatever special care you’re fur baby needs!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. In all my jobs babysitting and nannying as a teenager, taking care of the pets was always my favorite! I have a knack for getting to know animals in their own settings and getting to know their unique personalities. I am pet lover back in town with an open and flexible schedule. As much as I wish I could take care of a pet of my own, I unfortunately don’t have to time or space to commit full time care to a furry friend. This is why I’d love to help pet owners when they’re in a tight spot or need short term care while on vacations and such. I live in a one-story home with lots of outdoor space to run and play with a close eye from myself of course. I can also crate pets easily if necessary and love to be outdoors with pets as much as possible.

“My girl Luna had a great time with Lwren and her husband. She spent 6-1/2 hours at their home. Felt very good about leaving her in their care. Luna is young and energetic. They did a great job of walking her and playing with her. We will be repeat customers!”

About: Caring for all animals. Fur babies large and small. Young and old alike. Barn animals… horses, mini horses, goats chickens and donkeys. Of course your kitty too. We do reptiles. Finding one’s self with little to do after retirement, caring for animals just fit in so well and what a stress reliever these fur babies are. 😄 I have double fenced in areas, with all sizes of houses. My preference is to care for animals in their own environments. They are Less stressed at home.😉

About: I can stay at your home or I can board your pets at my home (boarding only if you have small lap dogs). For boarding, I keep your pets indoors with our pets in our personal living space so your pets should be clean, house-broken, and tolerant of children. We have a very clean home with mostly red brick tile throughout (except for the bedrooms which have white carpet). We have a small doggie door which enters into a small fenced area (4'x12') for self-potty breaks while we are at work (if your dogs know how to use a doggie door). We can also close this door if your dog is an escape artist. Our home is located in the east mountains off the Zuzax exit (about 15 minutes from Tramway Blvd). We both work (I have summers off) so we come to Albuquerque every day via I-40 and would be happy to pick up your pet at a meeting location if the drive is a pain for you. We have a huge horse barn and several acres as our backyard. We have a mini-horse, three mini goats, three chickens, two small dogs, and a cat. Why is my rate so reasonable you ask? Because we don't do this to make a living. Getting to care for other peoples furry children brings much happiness & joy to our lives too. If it was a pain in the rear, we'd charge much much more. But it's not, it's a treat for us. I also automatically donate 5% of my pet sitting fee's to K9's for Warriors via Rover.com. K9's for Warriors provides service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service. About this sitter: I'm a married mother of two children, and many animal children. I work full-time as a social worker. Caring for pets is a natural extension of my care of humans. Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover since I was little. My families Norwegian Elkhound had puppies when I was 2 years old and I have pictures of my twin sister and I being so in love with them and carrying them everywhere we went. When I was 19, I bought a dog book and combed the pages looking for my best K-9 match. I ended up getting a Shih Tzu and a Brussels Griffon. 20 years later, we now have Budrow, my 14 year old Norfolk Terrier mix, Gracie, my 2 year old mini-Australian Sheppard/mini-Poodle mix, and a 4 year old sweet long hair female cat named Aphrodite. They are all best buddies and they enjoy having furry houseguests. Meet my pets: We have one mini-horse, three mini-goats, three chickens, 2 small dogs, and a cat. About my yard: We have a huge backyard (5 acres), some areas are fenced some are not. If your dogs are diggers, I'd worry that they might get into the chicken coop or the goat area. We do not want to host large outdoor dogs at this time, until we get proper sturdy fencing around the entire property. We are currently only hosting indoor lap dogs at this time. My experience administering medication: Yes, I will administer medication (including shots) unless a dog bites or gets squirrely. I accommodate your pets needs around my work schedule. In the Fall or Spring I occasionally have my teenagers sports events or meets to attend. I treat you pets like my own and if I’m caring for your pets in my own home they will be included in my regular life, living room time (sunning windows, movie nights on the couch, etc), grass time, playtime, sleep time, etc.

About: I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and on the weekends. I’m a proud fur mama of a 4 year old Shih Tzu. She’s very well behaved and loves other animals and people. We don’t have any other children or pets so when I pet sit she gets the opportunity to play with her friends at home. We have an open home where the dogs are free to roam around or in and out of the house to our gated and secure backyard. I wanted to become a sitter for a couple reasons. I know what its like looking for a dog sitter myself. It’s hard to know who to trust with our fury family members. I’m responsible, reliable, and most importantly I have integrity. My other reason is because, I enjoy it! I work part time as a Registered Nurse. If I have accepted to care for your dog in my home that is because I will be home all day to care for your furry friend. I will have time to play with them, take them for walks, and give them the attention they need. Safety is number one in my book. My home is clean and free of clutter. Pets are free to play in our secured and large fenced areas and watched carefully.

About: I’ve taken care of animals of every kind since I was 12… from dogs, to cats, to horses. I volunteered for a no kill animal shelter as a teenager where I cared for, exercised, and assisted in adoption efforts. I’m relied on by neighbors and friends to walk and care for their animals and look forward to caring for yours. Animals truly hold a special place in my heart. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me plenty of time to care for your animals. I enjoy walking and hiking in the mountains with my dogs and look forward to incorporating yours. I have a fenced yard with 2.5 acres of land. I have a section fenced off in the backyard for smaller animals. I have two friendly dogs for your animals to play with.

“Tamara has taken care of my critters several times. She stays at my home and cares for my very shy Airedale plus 2 active Dales. She also gives tender care to my 17 year cat. Besides my special needs inside critters she tends to my 4 horses and keeps the wild bird feeders filled. I appreciate the attention she gives as she is in my home the entire time.”

Kellie T.

“I am super protective over my dog so I was very weary to let him stay in a new home. Kellie's home was great - she has a big backyard with lots of opportunity to run and explore. Her small dogs Kisa and Milo were the perfect companions for my little dog! The goats and chickens in the extended yard were a added bonus - Jiminey was curious and I think it added to the "adventure" aspect of his stay. A true doggie vacation!!! Ha. A secure and loving household and backyard - I couldn't have asked for more! Very centrally located as well which was great for quick access off I-40. I will definitely have my dog stay there again. Thank you!”

Elizabeth C.
“Elizabeth is responsible and very responsive to my needy fury babies! I use her for overnight doggy sits for when I am out for business trips and vacations. Denzel and Lucy love their non fury Auntie Liz!”
