Jacky and her family are wonderful, warm and caring animal lovers who paid close attention to our energetic Weimaraner. He became fast friends with the dogs and kids and he seemed calm and tired after a day of play. I loved getting details about his day - it’s priceless. 5-stars all around. We definitely look forward to sending the pup over again. Thank you Jacky!

It was our first time using Rover, but Alyssa helped explain everything and made us feel comfortable. She was also flexible about changing the initial date. We really appreciated how well Jude and Maddie were taken care of for the day! They seemed to have a great day!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve fostered and rescued dogs, cats, litters of puppies, and litters of kittens, giving me hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, including shy and fearful animals, high-energy pets, senior pets, and those needing extra patience and reassurance. I’m comfortable reading animal body language, following care instructions, administering basic medications when needed, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their families are away. As a pet owner and foster caregiver, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care and plenty of updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to treating your pets like they’re part of my own family! I currently work part time, mostly from home with flexible hours. I could easily accommodate your schedule so your baby is well taken care of when you are away. I spoil my pets with lots of love and would do the same with yours! If you have any specific routines or feeding regimens I have no problem sticking to them to keep consistency for your pet.

We adopted husky mixed named Kiba from the shelter few months ago and he has really bad separation anxiety that we wasn't able to leave him home alone when we need to go out so it's usually my oldest step son or me stay home with him and missing out a lot until someone told me to try find a dogsitter. So I posted on Facebook that I'm seeking for one and Mollie commented so I decided to give it try with her. I'm glad that we did! We're able to go out for first time as family while we knowing that Kiba is in good hands with Mollie. Kiba seems very happy and tired from playing with his new friend Rumble. We're pleased about that so we definitely will have Mollie dogsitting Kiba again when we need to go out as family. Thank you so much! ?

About: I absolutely adore all animals, especially dogs! My family has had dogs as pets since I was a little girl. I currently personally have 1 dog; a loving, yet lazy beagle. My aunt runs a dog rescue, so I am always around all different breeds, sizes and personalities of dogs! I love to play, snuggle and take care of dogs! My experience with dogs extends past 20 years! I promise to treat your pets as if they were my own! I don't have a preference to the breed, as long as they're nice and friendly dogs! Hope I can be a fit for your needs! I currently am a stay at home mom to my 3 sweet kiddos. Aside from my daily errands - I am almost always home and available! I take the dogs out on a leash, always, to ensure the safety of them. I do frequent potty breaks. I have a water bowl that they are free to drink from as needed, and always have a treat and cuddle ready for them!

Our terrier mix puppy has been going to Grace’s for a few weeks now (2x weekly for a full work day) and I can’t say enough good things! My husband and I found Grace because on the days my husband can’t come home during lunch, we didn’t want our puppy to be crated or left unattended all day. Grace and her family treat our puppy like their own dog, she becomes part of their family while she’s there. She gets tons of playtime, attention, affection. I absolutely love seeing the “report card” pictures after each day. It’s very clear my puppy is well cared for during her visits. It’s now to the point when we’re pulling up to Grace’s, our puppy gets excited because she knows where she’s at! 10/10 recommend!

Dakota's favorite day of the month is when she gets to go hang out at Spencer's house. His dogs have officially started being referred to as "the cousins ", and she loves spending time with them. I get peace of mind that she has loved and cared for no different than if she was laying at home with me

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 9. I am a true dog lover. I feel blessed to be able to care for different dogs through Rover. We are dog people! I had a Japanese chin who passed away in 2021. We miss him dearly and cannot wait shower your pup with our love. ❤️ My kids are very gentle to pets. We have cared for old dogs who require medication on daily basis. I have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have lot of room to explore and play. I don’t crate dogs unless the owner requests it. We have a large dog crate so you don’t have to bring yours. Your dog will be in good hands! My husband and I have flexible work and can tag team stay with your pup at home most days and I don’t work on the weekends. There is possibility that your pup has to be home 4-6 hours alone depending on our schedule during the week. We love to take walks in our neighborhood and look forward to taking your dog for a walk! Our house is spacious, clean, and has a fenced in backyard which dogs love. We keep clutter to a minimum so that dogs don’t get into anything that might be a safety hazard. We live in a quiet and safe neighborhood and we look forward to taking your dog for a walk! I have a great fenced in yard that most dogs enjoy. We love to take pup out for walks as long as they are able to walk. We are very mindful of dog’s health and wellness. About: Hi, I’m Adina, owner of Playful Paws Pet Sitting. I offer thoughtful, high-quality care for dogs and cats in a calm, home-style environment. I specialize in one-on-one attention, consistent routines, and low-stress care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m experienced, insured, and deeply detail-oriented — from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and quiet companionship. I intentionally limit bookings so every pet receives unrushed, individualized care. My clients are often busy professionals who want complete peace of mind while they’re away. I provide clear communication, photo updates, and the kind of dependable care I’d expect for my own pets. Your home and your pet will always be treated with respect, warmth, and discretion. If your pet stays with me, I offer an executive home on a large one acre flat lot and access to nearby trails. For sporty dogs, we take two twenty minute walks a day and one long hike in the woods (1-2 hrs) in addition to regular potty breaks outside. For the couch potatoes, I offer lots of quiet places to lounge and toys and enrichment like puzzles. Your dog can have total privacy if needed, but it’s better for everyone if they get along with other dogs. My home is like camp for dogs! I am with your dog all day, and will not leave them for more than 1.5 hours to run a simple errand. If you’re looking for reliable, concierge-level pet care, I’d love to connect. I specialize in anxious pets, senior pets, and pets who need a lot of medical attention throughout the day. My clients are mostly long term and like family and I develop lasting relationships with your pets! This is my full time job and so I am available to you and your pets. Please discuss with me the details of what you need and I will give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. I’m friendly, flexible, and will go above and beyond to keep your pets happy. I treat all animals with love and respect. I have been an animal lover my entire life. I am neat and organized and will treat your home with care and respect. I will send you photos/videos of your pet(s) as well as daily written updates. I specialize in dogs and cats with anxiety or who are shy, as I take the time with your pets to make sure they are comfortable.

I had such a great experience with Lydianis! She watched my dog overnight and took amazing care of him. She kept me updated the whole time with photos, which gave me real peace of mind. She made sure he felt comfortable, safe, and right at home. You can truly tell she cares and goes above and beyond. On top of that, she even helped me find him a new home because of my situation, and she found him the most amazing family. That meant everything to me. She doesn’t treat pets like “just dogs” she treats them with real love and compassion. I truly trust her with any of my pets and would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Morgantown commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 853 sitters in Morgantown, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
