“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life from German Shepherds to our little cavachon. Since my kids are getting older and don’t need as much help, I have time to take care of your precious pets when you need it! I’m here to take care of everyone! My day is full of making sure every person and every pet has what they need! Walking, sleeping, eating, drinking, and mess making-someone has to take care of it all! I have a good sized yard and a nice wooded park with walking paths nearby for daily walks and outside time. We would try to teach her new tricks. It gives us an excuse to get out of the house and take walks. I work full time until June 7th and then I’m home all summer. We have a small fenced in area and then a large common area behind our house. We live in a neighborhood where we take daily walks. We are always outside. About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. Full time soldier. I am able to take pets out 3-4 times a day during the weekend. I work Monday-Friday I’m off on the weekends. On weekends we go on a ride to the dog parks in the truck. Big dogs in the bed in a seat belt harness small dogs inside the cabin. Pets are kept in crate/room when I’m not home. Willing to accommodate to whatever is needed. Take dogs on walks check for ticks after walks and play time outside.

About: I am the ultimate pet lover! I grew up with fish, a hamster, a rabbit, and dogs. In 2008, I adopted 3 puppies of my parents’ dog. They were my kids and my pride and joy! My last pup passed away in January 2024, 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. I’ve grown up around dogs and have helped neighbors and family members with walking, feeding, and playing with their pets for years. About: My family and I love animals and have toe dogs and two cats of our own. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12. I’ve watched friends and neighbors pets at their homes and kept them at ours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can walk during the day and before and after work as well. I am able to housesit too because I can work from anywhere. I have two friendly dogs and we have an underground electric fence. We can take them out on leashes or if comfortable with the electric fence we use that as well.

“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
