About: My love of animals started from a young age. I grew up on a farm with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to pigs and horses! I have also fostered and boarded a variety of dog breeds and cats, so you can trust your pet will be in great hands! I am an active teacher, so I stay busy throughout the week, but I am off on holiday breaks and weekends, which is when I will be most available! I do also have afternoon and nighttime availability thought out the week on occasion. About: I am a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I'm free anytime every-day. I do gigwork, so my schedule is very open ended. I love dogs, cats, and other pets a whole bunch, I've got two dogs of my own. I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay.

About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I work from home and have only two courses a day, so I have a lot of time on my hands to do a good pet care routine. My babies (my cats and hermit crabs) are on a routine or rather I am. We do feedings in the morning and have an hour of down time for everyone to “stretch” their legs before I go to class. I’m away for 3 hours before I’m back and during that time I can walk a dog if one is staying. And then I work from home so pretty much I’m at the animals beck and call whenever they need anything. I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! Also with living in an apartment by campus we can always go for walks and meet some college students wanting some animal love!

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up! I’ve had both big and small dogs and love them all. We currently have two high maintenance French bulldogs that we treat like children. I’ll give your furry friend all of the affection and care that you would while you’re away! As a heads up, I do have a young baby and sometimes she’ll join me in taking care of your fur bestie! I am looking to love on some pups part-time! I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some weekends. About: I have had several dogs in my life. I take care of my daughter’s dogs which are unique in one as scared of everyone and would bite an arm off. One is a vizla need I say more. Hyper as can be. One is small but thinks he is the boss. Love being able to help others as I love to travel and know how difficult it is to find someone to watch the dog. My dog Bella barks at new dog and then does her own thing. I am currently retired so my day is filled with pickleball, bike rides and dog walking. I love to hang on the porch with a book and a dog beside me. I have an invisible fence that Bella doesn’t need a collar for since she knows her limits. They hear the noise and won’t go through it. But would take on leash until they are trustworthy. If client kennels I kennel. If client doesn’t I don’t. Pretty flexible with whatever client needs.

About: Say hello to your energetic and enthusiastic dog/cat lover! No pet is too young, too old, too hyper, or too skittish for me. I’ve been around animals even before I was allowed to have my own; feeding strays and spending time with them. I have 2 cats of my own (Gundham and Cheesepuff) and I’m best buddies with a corgi named Owen and an old man German Pointer named Sammy. I’ve taken care of a range of species from livestock (chickens), fish to exotic indoor pets, such as snakes Guinea pigs, and lizards! I became a certified dog groomer in 2025 from attending the dmacc continuing education program and work fulltime at a grooming salon in west Des Moines. In that class I got a feel for a mixture of personalities and I came to the conclusion that every dog deserves just as much love as the next! I hope to be the next well known dog groomer on the block and my journey to that goal starts here! I’m excited to meet you all! Pets are my priority. I’m usually up around 7-8 am so my cats get fed first thing in the morning. Since I don’t have a filtered water bowl I change out their water twice a day; extra if they get food floaters I their food. While I’m gone they are occupied with toys and YouTube nature videos to keep them company. On the weekends I usually have more time to spend with them and once a month they get full baths! As for my personal schedule I usually have group visits on MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY and I’m usually available after 12pm for walks and checks in’s. Any overnight stays will be from Friday- Monday. I do start my grooming job on the 21st of this month so my availability may change but will be done so in a timely manner. I have 2 cats at home, which while they are independent I always have an eye out for their water and food and I spend plenty of quality time and play with them. Before I leave anywhere I make sure they have all that they need, anything they can get into is sealed/ closed off, and even leave soothing music on. Mainly classical!

About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. I currently work full time from my home. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

About: I have had pets since I was at least four years old, so I am very familiar with taking care of them. I also frequently dog/house/cat sit for friends and family, as well taking care of both dogs and cats at my job at an animal shelter. About: I've been a pet owner all my life grew up with many different dogs. I was a pet owner of a yorkie for 13 years and Recently had to put him down. About: Growing up, my family had always owned a dog and/or a cat. When I graduated college and was on my own, I decided it was finally time to raise my own pup! I researched for the perfect dog to call my own and landed on my very own border collie, Josie. A couple years later, my dog and my now husbands dog, introduced us to each other and a year later got married! Now we have 3 kiddos!
