“Mariana and her family provide safe and fun dog care - my doggo Annie loves them and gets excited every time i drop her off. They are professional and responsible and I can tell my dog is getting special attention each and every day.”

“Glenn & Renee were able to accommodate my senior chihuahua mix on short notice for doggy daycare in the midst of his eating habits (and therefore bathroom habits) changing due to our cross-state move. They were just as invested in his eating and bathroom habits returning to normal as if he were their own. I am hoping that Monte adjusts to his new home quickly, but will be returning to services with Glenn & Renee because of their high quality care for my dog.”

“Elaine and Marty have given me peace of mind while traveling for work or pleasure. I know Zoey is home away from home with her daily routine and the love she receives. I am guilt free leaving here there and words cannot express my gratitude to Elaine and Marty.”

“Erika is lovely. We walk Junior 2 hours a day and finally we found Erika, who is willing to take our dog out for walks throughout the day. Junior immediately made himself at home at Erika's place. He was happy to return to her house the following day! I trust Erika to give good care.”

About: I have cared for pets ever since I was a little girl, where we had lots of land and all sorts of animals that became family! Our family has worked with many rescues over the years and have had the opportunity to help care for and find homes for many fur babies!! I currently work part time and mostly from home!! I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. This provides opportunity for long walks, lots of yard time, attention and cuddles! We have a large, beautiful backyard that is safely protected by a fence. The dogs will have access inside with free room unless you prefer for us to crate them! We also have two very sweet dogs of our own that your fur babies get to play with!

About: I understand dog psychology. I understand what a dog needs to be happy and balanced. I have owned and trained dogs for over 14 years. I have trained my dog to be a gentle giant and to always be at my side while walking. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of and provide you with plenty of updates so your mind will be at ease while your dog is with me. I currently work from home and have my dog Baloo with me. I take him on daily walks and would take your dog out on walks as well either as a pack or individually. I have a fenced off back yard with easy access to come in and out of the house. My dog is dog friendly to both small and big dogs.

“Kim was welcoming and friendly during our meet and greet. I appreciated her flexibility when I needed to change my request. Teddy was well taken care of during his day stay and I didn’t have to worry about him at all. Thanks Kim!”

About: Dogs have been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pup like a cherished member of my family - even the ones who act like your favorite spot on the couch belongs to them. I’ve worked in pet shops, as an assistant groomer at Petco, and cared for rescue dogs at the Burbank Animal Shelter, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities - from shy and gentle to lively and playful. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether we’re enjoying time in my secure backyard with high brick walls or spending time in your home, I make sure everything is safe, calm, and well cared for. I carefully check doors, gates, and any potential hazards to keep your pup protected. I care for dogs who are potty trained and non-aggressive to maintain a peaceful, stress-free environment for everyone. I’m reliable, attentive, and always mindful of the little details that make your dog unique. Whether it’s a walk, a fun game, or some quiet cuddle time, I tailor each day to your dog’s needs and personality. If you’re looking for a sitter who combines professionalism with genuine warmth and care, I’d love to be there for your dog while you’re away! Pet care fits easily into my routine because I genuinely enjoy it, spending time with animals never feels like work to me. I’m flexible with timing and can often adjust my schedule to meet your needs. Whether it’s a morning walk, an afternoon check-in, or weekend care, I’m happy to make it work and always show up with love and attention for your pet. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and always follow their specific routines to keep pets feeling secure. I double-check all doors, gates, and windows, make sure food and cleaning supplies are stored safely, and never leave animals unattended in unsafe areas. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can spot any signs of stress, illness, or discomfort early. My focus is always on keeping your pet calm, safe, and happy in their familiar environment. When pets stay with me, safety is just as important. My home is quiet, clean, and pet-friendly. I have a spacious, fully enclosed backyard with high, solid brick walls for extra privacy and security. I supervise all outdoor time, especially in hot weather, and I never leave pets outside unattended. I separate pets during feeding if needed, and I only host animals who are potty trained, non-aggressive, and a good match for the space and each other. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them at your home, I go above and beyond to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and loved every step of the way.
“Cassandra came to our rescue for our puppy Albus. Times can be difficult to plan and coordinate for your pup and Cassandra is so flexible and ready to help. She is kind and loves to send updates on how our puppy is doing and Albus loves staying with her! She treats your dog / pup like they’re her own. We don’t know where we’d be without Cassandra’s help ♥️”

About: We are life long animal lovers that just don’t have time to adopt with our frequent travel schedule. That is why we have signed up to Rover. This is an opportunity for us to help other families whilst enjoying the company and companionship of a dog. Our toddler and 2 teenage boys absolutely love animals so this is more about making them happy than anything else. Without writing too much, we promise to love and care for your pet like they’re our own and will also send updates/ pictures as often as you wish! We know how hard it is to leave your fur baby so we want to make the experience as pleasant as possible for you both. We promise to treat yours like family (because they are). Please reach out! I have a toddler who i am home with during most of the days. We also have 2 lovely teenage boys in school and my husband works full time…sometimes from home or sometimes flying out of town. Our property is over an acre of fully fenced and grassed yard. We have a large pool which is unfenced and a private tennis court. You have to walk up 5 steps to get to the main level of our house which the dog will be welcome in. We have our upper level gated off at the staircase due to our toddler.

“Ala was great with Hannah. She’s very patient with her despite Hannah’s behavioral issues. Ala kept me updated and sent pic of her to provide reassurance. I feel very comfortable with Ala watching my dog and recommend her to watch yours too.”

About: Hi there! I’m Samira, a lifelong dog lover and former Culver City Rover sitter, now happily settled in Thousand Oaks with my own home and a huge, fully fenced backyard, a true pup paradise! I call it Warm House for Cold Noses because that’s exactly what we offer: a loving, relaxed space where dogs are treated like family. Our furry family includes Dobby, Duke, and Mia. Three sweet, friendly dogs who love making new friends. Whether your pup wants to play, relax, or snuggle up, they’ll feel right at home here. Dogs are treated like family in our house. That means couch cuddles, bed snoozes, and lots of love! We’re homebodies at heart and spend plenty of time in the yard or relaxing indoors, so your dog will always have companionship and comfort. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone, and I promise to treat them with the same love and care I give my own. Can’t wait to welcome your furry friend into our home! Let’s connect and set up a meet & greet, we’d love to meet you both! ❤️🐶 In Loving Memory of Mona & Tequila Mona and Tequila were a special part of our family and a big part of my Rover journey. They brought so much love and joy into our home, and while they are no longer with us, their memory lives on in everything we do. I’ve chosen not to remove them from my profile because they will always be part of the heart behind Warm House for Cold Noses. I work from home and am home the majority of the time, so your pup will have plenty of love and attention throughout the day! I only step out briefly for errands or school drop-off/pick-up, but never for long periods. Your dog will never feel alone — there’s always a warm lap, a cozy spot on the couch, and a wagging tail nearby. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are treated like family, they’ll have free roam of the house, plenty of snuggles, and a large fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I always do a slow and gentle introduction to my own dogs (Dobby, Duke, and Mia), who are all friendly and well-socialized. I carefully monitor all interactions to make sure everyone feels relaxed and happy. I keep the environment calm, clean, and cozy, with soft beds (or our bed!), toys, and a routine that makes dogs feel right at home. Whether your pup is energetic or a snuggle bug, I’ll follow their pace and respect their needs. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a chocolate lab and tuxedo cat who were my best friends and since then, I have always been happiest around animals. I have trained two dogs into become therapy pets and am a registered foster mom. I currently live with my 3 adorable cats Gemma, and the orange kittens Rajah and Pumpkin. I am a private music teacher so my schedule is consistent but easily flexible. I have free time in the mornings, evenings and most afternoons. My weekends are open as well. I live in a quiet and safe gated community. I feed all my pets organic fresh food, play with them and give them lots of cuddles every day.

About: I have rescued, fostered, saved, nursed to health, and (lightly) trained over 100 dogs and cats. I grew up with small pets and cared for pet rats and mice when young. I started working with wild (feral) cats in college 20 years ago. I have a giant dog, a large dog that can climb/jump walls, a large backyard with extra fencing, and 4 cats (1 senior, 3 juveniles). I've worked with rescue groups for over 20 years with my family, and I foster kittens for the shelters now. Our whole family loves dogs and cats and helps. I've experienced it all, and I am fairly pro at medications. I am a care provider, so I am often available with a flexible schedule. I can visit your home, spend time with pets, or board. I will bend over backwards to make it work, because I understand how much you love your little family members. I know that play, attention, affection, and treats are the best ticket to success with any pet. Dogs tend to gravitate to me (probably because I smell like all of our pets) and I win them over easily. I adore kitties and will be great at respecting your cat's space, letting them come to me if they want, but offering a reassuring voice and presence.

About: I don’t think I can come up with this lavish idea as to why I’m the sitter for your baby. Other, than I grew up having pets and as much as I want one. I just can’t have one at the moment so this was a nifty alternative. I am a stay at home mom to an amazing 8month old. So your babies will receive all the attention as well if not more. I live in an apartment complex. Pets are allowed here. We have a lovely balcony and a nice lawn near by. As well as a park just a short walk!

About: I have been an animal love my whole life. We have a great big property and pool that all pets alike can enjoy. My kids and I are excited to get to know your pet. I am a hard working momma. I leave the house on occasion for family chores and school pick up. Feedings and walks will fit in easily. We usually feed 2x a day, we have no dogs at the moment. Free reign to go in and out, we have a doggy door and if the weather is nice we keep the doors open.

“Victoria is an excellent dog caregiver, and I can say that from personal experience. First of all I want to say that I've known Victoria for about 10 years now and I can vouch for how responsible she is and also how sweet and caring she is. As one of my closest friends, there were times when I was in need of someone to look after my dogs whenever I had sudden emergencies and wasn't able to take care of them myself, and so I entrusted my dogs several times to her. After seeing what a wonderful job she did, I gained confidence in having her take care of my dogs whenever I would leave town, sometimes for a week or two, and I would have peace of mind in knowing that my dogs were in good hands. I definitely recommend her because I know she will be an amazing fit!”
Charis G.

“Charis took incredible care of our pup Apricot while I visited town to see family. Apricot came back so relaxed and happy, and I know she just had the best time!”

Addy S.
“Addy is great with animals, especially pups! She is kind and treats them as family. She has experience in taking care of pups that need medicine and some extra love.”
