About: I have two dogs of my own back home, Bonnie and Clyde, that I am absolutely obsessed with! Being away for school makes me miss them so much. I love every dog like it’s my own and give them all the care and attention I can! Both my roommates have dogs so I have experience and the responsibility to take care of pets that aren’t technically mine. I love helping people and being someone they can rely on when they are in need! I have house/dog sat for multiple people and have always had success. I work in the athletic department for WSU which gives me very good time management skills and discipline when it comes to jobs or tasks that need to be completed.

Even though Rover notifies you when your sitter has arrived, Melanie sends her own personal message informing you she’s on-site. She also sends pictures/videos of your pets along with verbal updates. She likes to do a meet and greet before your actually booking which is nice. This is when you give her your notes/request/suggestions and overall routine of your pets. She immediately won over my pets and embraced their chaos - She is also armed and loaded with bite sized treats. Melanie is trustworthy and truly loves animals. About: Growing up I always had dogs and would constantly watch dogs 101 and vet shows. I learned their language to better connect with them especially if they have anxiety. Right now I am raising 3 cats and caring for my elderly dog who has seizures so I know how to handle a situation when it come to it along with schedule medications. My dog also only chooses me to cuddle with during thunderstorms so if your pup has a fear of storms while you're gone you can rest assure I'm making them feel as safe as possible. I have pretty big gaps between my day schedule, between school and work. I have time for morning, afternoon and night visits. I usually get out of work 830 the latest so medication will be able to be given before too late in the night In the client's home I would normally make sure I can see their pet at all times to guarantee no accidents happen on my watch. I also depending on the breed and personality of the dog will walk them or give them enrichment more often as needed.

I’m happy help take care of your fur, feather, or scale baby when needed. I’ve had a long career in healthcare and am now entering retirement. I have only one pet - my corgi Filius. My pets have always been inside pets. They get two meals a day and probably a few too many snacks for their own good. 🙃

About: I’m Tawnee, 27 years old, I live in Sour Lake, Texas. I grew up loving many of my own dogs. I currently work full time from home, spend my free time fishing, crafting, or hanging out with my family. I love to run so taking your furry friend to stretch their legs would be more fun to me than it would a chore. There is no dog too big or small for my preference. I will love and care for your dog whether they are always sleepy or always excited. Family and friends have counted on me to take care of their animals since I was 10 years old. I guarantee your pet will be in great hands with me. P.S. I have an iPhone and can manage FaceTime with your pet while you’re away, whenever you’d like. I’m currently working full time 7 AM through 5:30 PM every Monday through Friday. I am available anytime before/after work and certainly available through any weekend. If your pet is dog-friendly and potty trained, I can board at my home. Otherwise, I will gladly travel to and from your home to take care of your pets.

About: Hello Future Paw Buddies, I recently had a baby 7 months ago and had put off dog walking and sitting, but I feel comfortable and more than ready to come back now! Through my connections with Rover clients and Animal Shelters, I have worked with different breeds of dogs, along with different animals such as chinchillas, turtles, and more. While I was growing up, my family and I would foster dogs and help out strays on the street. This extended into my tween years, where I attend Dorothy O'Connor's Pet adoption camp training shelters dogs and prepping them for adoption. In college I was an officer in an Animal Rescue Club, working with local shelters around the Houston area, along with obtaining a job at a Doggie Daycare. About: I completely understand the importance of reliable evening care. Right now, I’m available in the mornings or after 6:30 p.m., and I know that may not fully line up with what you need. I’ve had a lot of experience caring for pets and homes — I raised a dog from puppyhood through its senior years, have a cat I’ve raised from a kitten for the past two years, and I’ve house-sat many times, including a three-month long position. I’m very dependable and attentive, and I’d be glad to help if your needs ever shift to fit my availability. As I have a fur baby myself I understand the need of wanting a good sitter I work part time in the evenings from 2-6:30 and Sunday mornings busy but other than that I am free all day. About: I've worked with senior dogs, younger dogs, and even cats any kind of animal I am willing to help with!! Just let me know and I'll be there. I have dogs of my own so operating around other dogs will be just fine. I do go to college so I can stop by after class and take the pups or cats on a walk anytime!
