About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 19. I have 4 doggies at home myself, so I know what I am dealing with! I love it! I am currently a college student at Lamar Institute of Technology going for dental hygiene. I also work part-time as a waitress at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse here in Beaumont. About: Growing up I always had dogs and would constantly watch dogs 101 and vet shows. I learned their language to better connect with them especially if they have anxiety. Right now I am raising 3 cats and caring for my elderly dog who has seizures so I know how to handle a situation when it come to it along with schedule medications. My dog also only chooses me to cuddle with during thunderstorms so if your pup has a fear of storms while you're gone you can rest assure I'm making them feel as safe as possible. I have pretty big gaps between my day schedule, between school and work. I have time for morning, afternoon and night visits. I usually get out of work 830 the latest so medication will be able to be given before too late in the night In the client's home I would normally make sure I can see their pet at all times to guarantee no accidents happen on my watch. I also depending on the breed and personality of the dog will walk them or give them enrichment more often as needed.

“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave!
