“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!”

About: I completely understand the importance of reliable evening care. Right now, I’m available in the mornings or after 6:30 p.m., and I know that may not fully line up with what you need. I’ve had a lot of experience caring for pets and homes — I raised a dog from puppyhood through its senior years, have a cat I’ve raised from a kitten for the past two years, and I’ve house-sat many times, including a three-month long position. I’m very dependable and attentive, and I’d be glad to help if your needs ever shift to fit my availability. As I have a fur baby myself I understand the need of wanting a good sitter I work part time in the evenings from 2-6:30 and Sunday mornings busy but other than that I am free all day. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 19. I have 4 doggies at home myself, so I know what I am dealing with! I love it! I am currently a college student at Lamar Institute of Technology going for dental hygiene. I also work part-time as a waitress at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse here in Beaumont. I usually go to the gym as well if I can. Other than that, if I am not at school, I am at work or at home. I have a fenced backyard to where the dogs can run and play around. About: I’m Tawnee, 27 years old, I live in Sour Lake, Texas. I grew up loving many of my own dogs. I currently work full time from home, spend my free time fishing, crafting, or hanging out with my family. I love to run so taking your furry friend to stretch their legs would be more fun to me than it would a chore. There is no dog too big or small for my preference. I will love and care for your dog whether they are always sleepy or always excited. Family and friends have counted on me to take care of their animals since I was 10 years old. If your pet is dog-friendly and potty trained, I can board at my home. Otherwise, I will gladly travel to and from your home to take care of your pets.

About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. I also have done many rescues and have extensive knowledge of potty training, and am very well read on dog behavior and socialization. I would love to use my passion for dogs to help you and your family. Dogs and I have a very special understanding. I have cared for packs as large as 17, and as small as one. In my home, I have an old retired American Bulldog mama who is 9 years old. She is 120lbs of sassy mommy! I have two medical needs chihuahuas, and a french bulldog. We do a slow introduction to my existing pack of four! Dogs are never left unattended when we have guests. Dogs eat as a pack and go out as a pack.

About: I volunteered at BARC animal shelter in Houston part time .. I welcomed new dogs and cats and also fed and walked the animals as needed. I am free Monday - Thursday so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend. If there is a certain routine that is required I could keep them in track! Provide a balanced diet: Feed your dog high-quality dog food that meets their nutritional needs, making sure to provide fresh water at all times. Regular exercise: regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. Take your dog for daily walks or engage in other activities that allow them to burn off energy. Safe environment: Providing your dog with a safe environment to live in. Keeping hazardous materials out of reach, secure fences and gates, and supervise your dog.

About: Whenever I was in highschool I spent the whole school year at the vets office for a class. I have always loved all animals, and made sure that they were always safe and well cared for. I have also rescued a few reptiles, I have some of my own. Rover is my summer job, most of the time I’m at home, so I’m available a lot. I’m starting college in fall so this money would go towards that. I have a fenced yard, no dogs, but I do have inside cats. When I did have a dog I treated her like a baby and I would do the same for yours.

About: I have both large and small animal Vet Tech experience working for multiple veterinarians. I have worked at Texas Equine with horses in Brenham, TX as well as multiple small animal vets and shelters. I currently work from home so I am always available to spend time with and care for any animals including my own. I have a huge backyard that I love spending time in over the weekends with my animals. Plenty of room to run around. I feel spending time with animals and using positive reinforcement when training is Beneficial. Building trust is also a huge factor in animal behavior, so more time with them will give them a better understanding of how we behave and what actions we would like them to take.
