About: I have two dogs of my own back home, Bonnie and Clyde, that I am absolutely obsessed with! Being away for school makes me miss them so much. I love every dog like it’s my own and give them all the care and attention I can! Both my roommates have dogs so I have experience and the responsibility to take care of pets that aren’t technically mine. I love helping people and being someone they can rely on when they are in need! I have house/dog sat for multiple people and have always had success. I work in the athletic department for WSU which gives me very good time management skills and discipline when it comes to jobs or tasks that need to be completed.

About: I completely understand the importance of reliable evening care. Right now, I’m available in the mornings or after 6:30 p.m., and I know that may not fully line up with what you need. I’ve had a lot of experience caring for pets and homes — I raised a dog from puppyhood through its senior years, have a cat I’ve raised from a kitten for the past two years, and I’ve house-sat many times, including a three-month long position. I’m very dependable and attentive, and I’d be glad to help if your needs ever shift to fit my availability. As I have a fur baby myself I understand the need of wanting a good sitter I work part time in the evenings from 2-6:30 and Sunday mornings busy but other than that I am free all day. Even though Rover notifies you when your sitter has arrived, Melanie sends her own personal message informing you she’s on-site. She also sends pictures/videos of your pets along with verbal updates. She likes to do a meet and greet before your actually booking which is nice. This is when you give her your notes/request/suggestions and overall routine of your pets. She immediately won over my pets and embraced their chaos - She is also armed and loaded with bite sized treats. Melanie is trustworthy and truly loves animals. About: Growing up I always had dogs and would constantly watch dogs 101 and vet shows. I learned their language to better connect with them especially if they have anxiety. Right now I am raising 3 cats and caring for my elderly dog who has seizures so I know how to handle a situation when it come to it along with schedule medications. My dog also only chooses me to cuddle with during thunderstorms so if your pup has a fear of storms while you're gone you can rest assure I'm making them feel as safe as possible. I have pretty big gaps between my day schedule, between school and work. I have time for morning, afternoon and night visits. I usually get out of work 830 the latest so medication will be able to be given before too late in the night In the client's home I would normally make sure I can see their pet at all times to guarantee no accidents happen on my watch. I also depending on the breed and personality of the dog will walk them or give them enrichment more often as needed.

About: I have taken care of pets every since I can remember! I have always had pets in my life, and I have adored them. I have horses, dogs, cats, and fish. My mom is the one who taught me about pets’ needs, and how to care for them. My greatest joy is saving animals off the street and finding the right forever home for them. I know how much how much you love your pet, so I will treat them as if they were my own. I currently go to school and get off at 1 p.m. each weekday, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your animals. Also, I free on the weekends.
