âWell all I can say is Jill is a godsend! I was referred to her by some neighbors in my community. My dog is a rescue and doesnât have very much confidence or socialization . She said that was fine and she would work with him. Jill is very calm and definitely knows what she is truth dogs. She has a great fenced in backyard where he can run a play. Jill has two dogs of her own that Odin got a long with pretty darn quick. I would recommend Jill 100%. Iâm so happy I found her â¤ď¸â

âAmanda is amazing!! Iâve worked from home ever since I got my dog, so I had a lot of anxiety dropping her off all day somewhere with my new job being in an office. But Amanda took amazing care of my pup and it totally helped me feel at ease. She takes her on walks and sends lot of photos.â

âWow. Karen and her family were so great to my pup - lots of love, walks and patience when he threw up in their car (he's never done that before). Our Bailey was treated like family, and exactly like we would want. We will be booking with them again.â

âThis was the second time I had my pups stay with Ellen for doggie day care while I had to attend a dr appt. I am from out of town and I have to visit often for doctors so having Ellen watch over my pups when they canât be with me really helps put my mind at ease and makes it possible for me to bring my pups with me to Boise. She always sends pictures of my pups and usually makes me laugh with their antics đ Iâm always nervous leaving my babies but I know they are safe with Ellen. đâ

âMy family and I were visiting from out of state and wanted to go to the zoo so we needed last minute doggy daycare. DeHanna was so responsive when messaging. She was kind and understanding with my girls needs. When I picked my girl she showed no signs of stress and was super happy. I would book with her again! Highly recommend and thank you!â

âElise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!â

âPhedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. Sheâs done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her againâ

âOmgosh Kim and family were amazing to take in our Husky on Christmas eve for a few hours. They had a great backyard to play in. Also pictures send while he was there. 5 stars thank you for loving on our furbaby.â

About: I work from home, and am able to provide lots of love and attention to your pup! I live in a single family home with a fully fenced yard. Our small poodle mix loves to socialize and play with other dogs. I work from home, so Iâm always home! I have availability for multiple daily walks and playtime. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times. I have a fully fenced back yard. There is also a large park to walk in (leashed) in my neighborhood. I can meet any feeding needs or special instructions.
About: I have cared for pets since I was 6 years old, started with a tabby cat named Tinker after Tinker Bell. Since then Iâve cared for multiple cats of my own (including litters), and 2 of the sweetest dogs until seniors. I also loved and cared for the cutest peach-faced love bird, named, but of course - Peaches. I believe animals were created for us to be reminded to enjoy each moment we are given. I also believe that they deserve the best care and love through excellent attention to health, play and grooming. I have a set schedule that I will stick to for the most part, with flexibility upon request. Occasionally I will travel as well with advance notice. I am happy to come to your home to care for, feed, groom and play with your pet. I am also happy to take your pet for a drive (depending on the animal) to parks or different locations for exercise and play, or grooming.
âNicole is fantastic! Riley had a great first play date at her house. She sent me videos to let me know he was doing just fine! She is so attentive and caring, and Iâm very happy to know I can count on her to love on my pup! Thank you Nicole.â

âDylhan was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. She cared for my babies like they were her own (and her little puppers are so cute and happy!). This was the first time one of my dogs was away from me and he had a great time until the very end while I got to meet the puppies and talk more with Dylhan. He wanted to keep playing! My anxious dog who has had experience away did great as well. Dyhlan made him comfortable and sent me updates with pictures and videos and cared for him when his anxiety made him nauseous. Absolutely can't recommend them enough and very thankful for their help with caring for my babies!â

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 430 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Montour. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Montour commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 430 sitters in Montour, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
