About: Good on you, friend! You want more than a cold cage for your pup. And you want a family to treat your pup with genuine care and affection when you cannot take her or him with you. So, thank you for your interest in our dog boarding services. As we live in Hagerstown, we offer free shuttle service for our clients along the I-270 corridor—Bethesda, North Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Urbana, and Frederick. Our clients are very welcomed to pick-up and drop-off at our home if their plans take them through Hagerstown. We're excited to be in our sixth year with Rover! During this time, we developed wonderful and continuing relationships with many of our repeat guests and their parents. Many of our guests seem to develop friendships among themselves as they often encounter one another at the Lounge. We also understand that a few of our guests' parents have become familiar with one another and occasionally meet at dog parks for playdates. Plus, our teenager has a very light after school/summer activities and sports schedule. Together, we are committed to care for our guests just as if they were members of our own family. This includes taking your pooch with us when we need to be away from our home, if that is acceptable to you. We’ll send lots of messages with pics and clips that keep you in touch. And you can call us anytime through our Rover phone number if you ever need to discuss a particular matter. We have a spare room with open beds, large crates, and collapsible kennels are available if required/requested. Please remember to pack your dog’s favorite food, treats, toys, blanket, etc., to make their stay more comfortable. We provide the dog beds, bowls, and potty pads and bags, so there's no need for you to worry about any of that.

About: Growing up, learning to take care of different kinds of animals was encouraged. From guinea pigs to horses, I have seen it all. Now living on my own, and having a dog and cat of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your animals. I have experience giving a wide variety of medication to both dogs and cats. I do my best to follow any schedule or instructions given by parents and to communicate as much as possible throughout the stay! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I do have a dog and a cat of my own that I will need to stop to check in on during the day, but I do have someone who can stay with them during the night if you do need overnight sitting. I currently only offer pet sitting in the client’s home. I do my best to follow all rules and instructions given, I do prefer any specifics (feeding amounts, any medications, etc.) to be written down just so I can reference back if I need!

About: My background includes fostering for the local SPCA, volunteering at a horse rescue/therapeutic riding lessons and supporting my senior citizens by helping care for their beloved pets. Whether it daily care, companionship, or special attention for senior pets. I am dedicated to providing reliable, gentle care that gives pet owners peace of mind and keeps their pets happy, comfortable and well care for. I currently work full-time. My routine with pet care during the week while working is walking at least twice a day with lots of cuddles and talks before leaving, make sure house is secure and safe and puppies are crated, special room or outside depending on safety/weather. Left with toys and/stress relievers. After work, potty, fetch, catch and walks. They depending on weather playtime until bedtime. Non working days, Walks are the same plus plan social play time or easy hike walk, or water play etc. Anxious days usual comes with lots of attention. Hyper days lots of fetch, catch and brain games. Even spa days of bath and brushing. Fresh water throughout the day and follow feeding schedules plus meds if needed. Illness or injury call parents and/or vet with permission transport to location that needed regular vet or emergency vet Safety and less stress is best for all. Safety checks and walk throughs house and yard daily. Monitor pets and be aware of their whereabouts. Check fur and skins at least once a day depending on season and living area. Follow schedule and requirements of the family. Communicate to family on daily basis and share pictures.

About: I have experience in caring from all types of animals from hermit crabs, lizards and fish to cats, dogs rabbits horses and everything in between lol. So I can also provide care for other pets not listed here. My 12 year old daughter and I love animals and have been rescuing and rehoming animals for years. We currently have a 7 year old golden retriever that we raised from 8 weeks old. And a 4 month old kitten we rescued and raised from 5 days old. I have completed with my dog puppy socialization and training courses. I have experience in Training, introductions, wound treatment, allergies, medication administration,exercise, pet message and bathing/grooming. I am currently a stay at home mother caring for and home schooling my 12 year old daughter so I have alot of availability and last minute availability. I have a big back unfenced in yard and screened in car port. Animals have full access to my house unless they have restrictions that would prevent that such as not allowed on furniture in clients home or eats things then they would for their safety be prevented from those areas. I am very respectful of others and following rules so if I would need to be in your home rest assured your home and fur baby would be in good hands.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I lost my dog several years ago and while my work schedule doesnt allow me to get another dog, I miss having a dog in the house. I believe dogs are valuable members of our families who deserve the best care while their parents go away. I will provide more then just care, I will provide your dog with love, cuddles and walks while you are away. I have dealt with dogs with stranger aggression and separation anxiety so I understand the extra love and care these dogs need. I am good at sticking to routine and understand how stressful change can be for a dog. If you chose to leave your dog in my care I will strive to reduce the stress of the change. On weekends I will be home all day with your dog. During the week I am available for house sitting, but I work in a fulll time job in Carlisle, PA so the closer to Carlisle the shorter the time I am away. Being away from their home and people can be stressful so at my house we spend lots of time cuddling. If I stay at your house I try to keep things as normal for them as possible. I follow the dogs lead, doing whatever makes them most comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember and absolutely love it! Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me to walk, feed, and play with their pups. I treat every dog like my own! I am currently an enrolled college student, but I have tons of free time to take care of your babies! A lot of my work is done online and will take up any opportunity. I also am enlisted in the Air Force National Guard and the first weekend of every month I will be occupied with drill! My dog, a german short-haired pointer named “Finn”, is always taken care of to the fullest! Fulfilling meals and lots of play time, and of course just time for cuddling and chilling out.
