About: I have experience in caring from all types of animals from hermit crabs, lizards and fish to cats, dogs rabbits horses and everything in between lol. So I can also provide care for other pets not listed here. My 12 year old daughter and I love animals and have been rescuing and rehoming animals for years. We currently have a 7 year old golden retriever that we raised from 8 weeks old. And a 4 month old kitten we rescued and raised from 5 days old. About: I grew up always having a pet in my childhood home, cats and dogs, and have much experience taking care of my own and others pets. In high school my main way of earning money was taking care of my aunts 2 German shepherds on a daily basis after school. Since then I have pet sat countless friends and families fur babies. I have been a pet mom since I was 18 (12 years) and now have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am also a (human) mom of a 1 year old girl. I have cared for 160 lb Rottweilers to 2 week old kittens to horses, chickens and goats. We only have one dog almost two year old black Shepherd Retriever, we go on early morning walks off leash, car ride to our local dog park with our frequent coffee shop drop in visit. We start our mornings at 5:30am with a long walk down our country roads down hill then back up the steep hill, helps my pup burn his energy. Then around noon, we’ll go for another walk and play frisbee or catch in our yard. We’ll also go for a car ride to our local dog park, and he’ll play there for about 15/20 mins. Then around 5pm, we’ll play in the yard till husband gets home. We have a large yard unfenced for our pup to ran and play fetch. I have one friendly pup, we loves playing with all types of dogs. We also have a large crate, we leave open for our dog to lay in but able to easily crate your dog if needed. Our dog is housed trained but he finds his crate comforting when we’re not home so we leave crate door open.

About: Although we are new to the area, we are definitely not new to caring for dogs. We recently purchased the well-known dog kennel in Smithsburg and are in the process of restoring it. Parts of the kennel are already fully functional, and we’re excited to begin welcoming dogs while we continue improving the property. It’s a place many people in the community already know, and we feel lucky to be able to carry on its history. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with them and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t love being around them. That same love has followed me into adulthood. Over the years I’ve naturally become the neighborhood go-to pet sitter. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I always care for them the same way I care for my own dogs — with patience, attention, and lots of affection. One of the things I’m most proud of is the therapy work I did with my dog. I trained and certified her as a therapy dog, and for 10 years we volunteered together in hospitals and nursing homes. That experience actually inspired my career path, and I went on to become a certified occupational therapist. My sweet therapy dog has since passed away after a long and wonderful life. She was incredibly special to me. I’m now starting that journey again with my new puppy, Merango, and hope to continue therapy work in the future. Right now I’m taking some time away from my occupational therapy work to focus on renovating and restarting the kennel. It’s something I’ve always dreamed about doing, and I’m excited to bring new life to a place that so many people in the community already know. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including giving medications like insulin injections. Our property has large outdoor fenced runs that give dogs plenty of space to move around and enjoy the fresh air in a quiet farm setting. injections. I’m currently focused on renovating and restoring the kennel property, which allows me to be home most of the day and provide consistent supervision and care for the dogs staying with us. We are early risers in our home and typically start the day around 7 AM with potty breaks and breakfast. Mornings are usually spent outside enjoying the property — going on walks around our 20-acre farm or spending time in the fenced runs while I do morning chores. Around lunchtime everyone, animals included, usually settles in for a quiet rest period. I check that everyone has fresh water and food if needed before nap time. In the mid-afternoon we head back outside for more activity. Depending on the dog, this may include running in the fenced fields, exploring the property on a guided walk, or simply relaxing in the fresh air. Dinner is around 6 PM, followed by a calm evening inside. We finish the day with a final potty break and check-in before bedtime around 9 PM. My goal is to give dogs a peaceful farm stay with plenty of space to move, fresh air, and a consistent routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed while they’re away from home I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. When I first started using Rover for my own dogs, I remember feeling nervous too. I always appreciated sitters who kept me updated, so I make a point to do the same. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your dog is doing and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. On our property, dogs have access to spacious individual indoor/outdoor kennel runs where they can relax comfortably. I'm good with animals I'm a hard worker and I would definitely take good care of your fur baby. I wake up walk the dogs feed them every two hours they go on a walk I like right by a dog park.bruah them bath them if they need it I go above and beyond for your fur baby's. There is a park right across from me dogs love it and we go all the time love taking the dogs out they love the park they get good exercise.

About: Growing up, learning to take care of different kinds of animals was encouraged. From guinea pigs to horses, I have seen it all. Now living on my own, and having a dog and cat of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your animals. I have experience giving a wide variety of medication to both dogs and cats. I do my best to follow any schedule or instructions given by parents and to communicate as much as possible throughout the stay! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I do have a dog and a cat of my own that I will need to stop to check in on during the day, but I do have someone who can stay with them during the night if you do need overnight sitting. I currently only offer pet sitting in the client’s home. I do my best to follow all rules and instructions given, I do prefer any specifics (feeding amounts, any medications, etc.) to be written down just so I can reference back if I need!

About: In my opinion, animals are the best thing in the world! Especially when they become pets. I am a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, but I have always had other passions. One passion would definitely be my love for animals and nature! When I am not at the hospital I would love to get to know you and your family pet! I love all animals so much ... I got allergy weekly/biweekly shots (2 in each arm) to prove it!! I am super interested in caring for your family pet and making them feel like you never left home! I am interested in walking, sitting, home visits and boarding animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, hamsters, hermit crabs, etc! About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and my experience is mostly centered around dogs. At one point, I had five dogs of my own, but currently, I’m lucky to have two. While dogs are my main focus, I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and smaller mammals like bunnies. No matter the pet, I treat each one with the same love and attention, ensuring they get the best care possible. You can trust that I’ll treat your furbabies as if they were my own! About: Over the years I have taken care of many pets and clean dogs cats reptiles birds fish and over the years I have gained a vast knowledge and inquisitive experience with dogs I am currently a major in environmental biology and ecology and with a minor in animal behavior in psychology I enjoy it all dogs and have no prejudice against any dog or cat and I am willing to take care of any pad and I’m not afraid of any type of animal that is presented in front of me and willing to do almost all tasks Required in service for taking care of the dog or cat and I will also take care of other non-included pets if needed as long as the services aren’t too distracting from the primary role of taking care of the main pet that I was hired to do so I work from home and have a free and open schedule with full availability and no time constraints, I also am flexible and can make arrangements for any occasion, if given notice! About: I grew up always having a pet in my childhood home, cats and dogs, and have much experience taking care of my own and others pets. In high school my main way of earning money was taking care of my aunts 2 German shepherds on a daily basis after school. Since then I have pet sat countless friends and families fur babies. I have been a pet mom since I was 18 (12 years) and now have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am also a (human) mom of a 1 year old girl. I have cared for 160 lb Rottweilers to 2 week old kittens to horses, chickens and goats. During the week I am the sole caregiver of my 1 year old daughter and she will be with me while taking care of your pets. She has been exposed to our animals since birth and has learned how to interact with our dogs and cats. She is gentle and kind to animals. Child friendly dogs and cats are a must. My home sits on a 1/2 acre and I have a fenced in yard. My pets have free range of my home apart from our bedrooms which stay closed while we are not in them. I do have the option to keep my pets separated from yours if that’s preferred or needed.
About: I've been taking care of my own animals my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and family started hiring me for pet care when I was still in high school. I love the stark difference in pet personalities and learning how each of them likes to be cared for. Examples of my past & present clientele: - A family with 7 chihuahuas of varying ages and levels of crazy - A brand new hyperactive Bernedoodle puppy whom I still care for regularly (she's 4 now!) - A sweet lab who liked long, slow walks and bananas - A moody cat who could not care less about me (I have slowly earned the blessing of giving head pats to them now) - A tortoise who inspires me to slow down and eat more greens *my home is a safe space for people and pets from all walks of life* I am available for early morning or evening walks and drop-ins during the week. I am available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday unless I have a family or social event. However, I am always open to working around my schedule and offering as much flexibility as I can - just shoot me a message! We have a large back porch and yard with a fenced area for sniffing around. If your pet requires extra exercise, we have a quiet neighborhood to walk around in. We have a dog bed in almost every room, space for you to bring a crate, or an area that can be closed off overnight if necessary or requested. There are few places in the house that the dogs don't have access to out of an abundance of safety. Otherwise, they are welcome to make themselves at home! If I care for an animal in your home, I will let you and your pet take the lead!

About: Hello my name is Chelsea. I am a surgical veterinary technician at a busy animal hospital and online college student studying to become a registered veterinary technician. I live in Fairfield PA with my boyfriend and pack of rescue animals. This includes a blind kitty named Hank, a little orange tabby cat named Phoebe, a pitbull mix named Harper, and a foxhound named Roger. I have a passion for helping pets in need and so they have all come to live with me through different but unfortunate circumstances. Work, volunteering at rescue, and caring for my own animals has made me comfortable giving medications, feeding animals, and bathing animals with various medical needs. I work full time Monday to Thursday, 10+ hour shifts but am typically free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well as most national holidays (unless I am on call for work). About: Hi! My name is April. After growing up around dogs, my husband and I decided to get our first dog-a Hurricane Katrina rescue-as soon as we got married! Having a love for dogs evolved into a partnership with a local rescue in which I've volunteered for transport, adoption home visits, adoption follow up, and fostering. 3 dogs later-I enjoy walking the dogs around the farm, car rides(with drive thrus for pup treats of course!), and cuddling on the couch(our dogs know how to nap!). One unique perk is that my sister is a veterinarian of 15 years and offers me an additional wealth of knowledge. Many might consider me a helicopter pet parent, which I’m proud to claim. No unsupervised grass/ twig chomping or foreign body scares with me around! I own two senior dogs: Remi and Paisley. They love everyone and everything but are at the age where sleep is the ruler of their day. I’m joining Rover semi selfishly because they have less ability for adventures now, yet unselfishly as any boarding time that your pet spends with us means spoiled vacation time with grandma and grandpa for them. However, I’m happy to keep them around if you have a puppy who needs socializing/ wise knowledge gathering from their elders. My schedule is currently limited to biweekly availability. About: I have experience in caring from all types of animals from hermit crabs, lizards and fish to cats, dogs rabbits horses and everything in between lol. So I can also provide care for other pets not listed here. My 12 year old daughter and I love animals and have been rescuing and rehoming animals for years. We currently have a 7 year old golden retriever that we raised from 8 weeks old. And a 4 month old kitten we rescued and raised from 5 days old. I have completed with my dog puppy socialization and training courses. I have a big back unfenced in yard and screened in car port. Animals have full access to my house unless they have restrictions that would prevent that such as not allowed on furniture in clients home or eats things then they would for their safety be prevented from those areas. I am very respectful of others and following rules so if I would need to be in your home rest assured your home and fur baby would be in good hands.
