“Emily is always super-reliable in every way and our dog Jilly enjoys walking with her so much that she has stopped barking at the doorbell as she always hopes it might be Emily!”

“Heather does outstanding with my two girls! My littlest baby lupita who has always been very fearful of strangers absolutely loves her. She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. I have nothing but good things to say about heather and could not have picked a better person to trust my baby girls with.”

About: I love hanging out with dogs and getting to know them. I love playing and walking with them and I have a lot of experience doing so. I have been dog sitting for about 4 years now for my families friends and I have taken care of elder dogs and puppies and dogs that have needed to take medication. I do have experience with 100+ pound dogs that pull on the leashes. If you do need me to walk a bigger dog, please tell me what the dog will react to so I can be prepared to walk them. If there are two bigger dogs, I will not book until I know if they are reactive to anything. I am also able to take care of other small animals like amphibians, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals. If you do have farm animals, I do require a meet and greet. i can always take care of your dog after 10am throughout the week and anytime on the weekends. I can also take your dog to a local park or path and walk then there! I will typically go to copus, central park, or east race but whatever is closest I will go to. If you have a recommended place for me to go, I will go there. This will typically take an hour and that includes the drive there and back. This service costs 40 dollars. At my own home, I make sure my pets have a very stimulating environment and I try to play with them as much as a can. I will do the same with your friends. I am also available to water plants, take in the mail, and do other house activities if I am doing a drop in visit only. Just let me know ahead or time or leave me a note, and I will make sure to get the chores done.

“Melissa is fantastic. My little anxious dog is new to drop in visits while I'm gone, but Melissa showed her exactly the patience and kindness she needed to get comfortable. Olive treats her like a great friend every time she sees her now! I'd recommend Melissa to anyone without hesitation.”

About: I started sitting and walking dogs on Rover six years ago as a way to spend time with pups when I wasn’t in a place to have a dog of my own. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and am now a proud dog mom to a young, friendly Bernadoodle. My pup and I love making new doggy friends and spend lots of time outside in our fenced backyard with our Rover dogs. My yard has plenty of space for games of fetch and tug. I limit my Rover sits to one new dog (or new family) at a time in order to ensure your dog’s safety and give your pup as much of my attention as possible. I’m an avid walker and runner, so if you’re not looking for boarding services, I’d love to get some steps with your furry friend. Send me a message and let’s set up a meet and greet 😊 I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’ll be around your pup nearly all day if boarded at my place. I’m also able to commute throughout the day for drop in visits and walks. I have a fenced in, grassy backyard that’s perfect for playing with a dog. I live in a quiet, very dog-friendly neighborhood great for walks/runs. Your dog will spend their days playing with my pup and is likely to meet other dogs on our walks. If invited to care for your dog(s) at your own home, I will ensure the utmost level of cleanliness and care for your space.

About: I’ve had dogs for over 10 years, especially small dogs, as well as cats for the last three. I enjoy taking care of all creatures, great and small, and I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking. I do have a standard 9 to 5 jobs, but they are OK with pets in the building. I am easily able to take them outside for potty break. I have a neighborhood with only one entrance before cars, and is extremely safe. It is the perfect area to go for a walk. There is an open space in the middle of the neighborhood. Great for playing fetch. I have aI have a neighborhood with only one entrance before cars, and is extremely safe. About: Whether it be dogs, cats, horses, cows, or any animal in-between, I've been raised around animals all of my life. I've had a dog that I've cared for on my own since I was nine years old and couldn't imagine my life without one. With over 15 years of pet care experience, I'm more than comfortable handling your pet from the puppy/kitten stage to their golden senior years, and have experience with medication administration and special care attention. I currently have a three year old Australian Shepherd of my own, and so have no issue handling dogs with a stronger need for mental stimulation and exercise. Whether it be a simple check-in at the home, to a walk around the neighborhood, to taking your dog to the local park or joining me on a run, I'm happy to ensure that we keep your dog to the schedule he/she prefers at your comfort level! If you happen to have a feline friend instead, I have several years experience babysitting for the neighborhood and college friends' cats, and am more than happy to watch over your fur baby while you're away.

About: I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands when you’re away - I’ve spent my entire life caring for dogs, cats, and birds I work remotely for the most part so I'm flexible. I can work my other job at my pace and can ensure your fur baby has plenty of attention. My home has a fenced yard. I have a spare room if your animal like their space. I enjoy outside time if your animals likes walks.

“Jamie is awesome! She took great care of out little golden doodle, Julep!! She walked Julep for us 3 times in one long, Notre Dame football game day!! Jamie also took time to stop by and meet us before sitting for Julep the next day!! We will definitely hire Jamie again!!”

About: I have had many kinds of pets, from turtles to birds to cats to dogs to horses. Now that I'm retired, I have time, knowledge and experience to share with others who need support for the care of their pets. A retired teacher who is home most of the time. I have time to give, and I would like to help others with pet care. I love to walk, and I'd love to walk your dog. I have time to stop by and care for your pets in your home. If you need to board your pet, I have a quiet home and would enjoy having your pet in my home. My home is I have a fenced yard for dogs and cozy boxes by windows and two litter boxes for cats. I am careful to follow owner's instructions to follow the routines their pets are used to and to provide visiting pets with any particular medical care they need as well as affectionate attention and exercise.

About: Hi! My name is Jacee. I’ve had the joy of growing up in a home with at least three dogs at any given time, so I’m very familiar with the care, attention, and love that our furry companions need. More recently, I’ve also started house-sitting for friends with cats, and it’s given me a deeper understanding of how to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their humans are away. Whether it's dogs or cats, I’m confident in my ability to provide the care and attention your fur baby deserves! Pet care fits into my routine in a really natural and enjoyable way. I work full time, but I’m able to step out during my lunch break to take a dog for a walk or spend time with a cat for some play, company, or feeding. On days when I work from home (which happens a few times a week), I have more flexibility and can offer longer visits or more frequent check-ins. I’m also available on weekends, which allows for even more dedicated time with your pet. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and I love fitting it into my day whenever possible! While I’m not able to board pets in my own home, I’m very comfortable and respectful when caring for pets in their own space. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and relaxed in their environment, and I treat every home I enter with the same care and professionalism I’d expect from someone looking after my own. I would be sure to follow any directions exactly!

I have taken care of plenty of pets owned by friends and family and I am excited to have the opportunity to take care of yours! I am currently out of school for the summer so I have plenty of free time to play with, walk, feed, and watch your pets! About: I have worked with animals in rescue for at least six years. Friends and family now rely on me to care for their fur babies. I prefer animals to humans most days! Hello! About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. We are very well organized, and have also taken care of our many children throughout our lives!
