About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me pretty much my entire life, and I’ve always believed they’re part of the family. In our house, Pepper and Lily pretty much run the show! 😊 Pepper is our 8-year-old Maltipoo, and Lily is our 6-year-old American Shorthair cat. They keep us entertained, keep us on schedule, and remind us who is really in charge. I’m retired, which gives me something many pet sitters don’t have as much of — time. I enjoy being around animals and would much rather spend my day with a dog or cat than rush in and out between a dozen other commitments. Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of friends, relatives, and neighbors. I haven’t done it professionally, but I’ve been a pet owner and animal lover all my life, and I understand how much trust is involved when you leave someone with your pets. A little about how I care for pets Every pet is different. Some want a long walk and lots of play; others are perfectly happy curling up beside you. I’m happy to follow their routine and your instructions — whether that means walks, meals at a particular time, medications, special attention, or caring for an older pet. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care in your home. My preference is house sitting because I think most pets are happiest in their own surroundings, with their familiar beds, toys, smells, and routines. I don’t offer boarding at my home because Lily has made it clear that she does not appreciate houseguests of the canine variety! 😄 Your home matters to me, too. This is something I feel strongly about because I’ve used Rover myself. About: I used to foster dogs. My yard is pretty big and I have a doggie door. My dogs do not mind visitors. I am off work during the summer and all major holidays. I am a teacher so I am off for the summers. When school is in session, I get off early and I am usually home before 4pm. I have a fenced in yard that can be accessed by a doggie door. I have 3 small dogs. I walk them and play with them on a regular basis. I also have 2 cats.
About: I'm comfortable with all dog sizes, though am physically limited for some walking (up to 30 minutes per walk), tugging, and lifting. I have plenty of experience giving injections and oral medications. I have a lot of experience training puppies and aided my senior pup who was blind, deaf, and had dementia at the end. I do not mind having to change doggie diapers, either. I also have some experience with hamsters, pigs, birds, snakes, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I am a stay at home mom to two independent teens and have several pets of my own. I am available most days and times, whether for checking in on your pets, or staying the night so they don't get too lonely. If you have a contained/caged animal (like rodents, snakes, etc) that needs to stay out of your house for a given time, that can be discussed. I am unable to keep loose animals in my home due to my own pets. I can feed the pets on or off of a schedule, give medications when necessary, clean up after them (outdoor and indoor), brush them, give lots of cuddles and play time. I don't mind kennel/crating them or helping to train the animals. I also have experience with Fluent Pet buttons/talking pets.

About: I’ve raised several dogs and cats and trained them. I grew up with animals and have had a wide variety over the years. My full time job is in a helping field and I love providing service to others. I work full time and am off at 4:30pm during the week. I don’t have work on weekends so my schedule is usually open. I am open to following whatever routine your pet is accustomed to. I love taking walks and hikes if you have a more active pet that needs/likes the extra activity and socialization.
“Latasha was wonderful! All the cats loved her as soon as they met her. She has a natural talent when it comes to getting to know your pets. She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”
“We had Mallory stay overnight at our house with our senior Persian. Before her stay, she came over for a meet and greet so everyone felt comfortable. It was apparent that she is a very kind and caring person. During her stay she kept us updated with how things were going and pictures. She cleaned up a couple of puking incidents and let us know that Marigold had in fact puked, had been sneezing and hadn’t had a bowel movement. These updates were truly appreciated and I was relieved she was paying attention to things that seemed out of the ordinary. Marigold routinely potties on potty pads and Mallory kept up with those changings which, in my opinion, is above and beyond kitty care. Additionally, Miss Marigold tends to yowl in the nights as she has aged and has reduced vision in one eye. Mallory was patient with those night time needs and brought her back to bed with her to comfort her. Overall, I appreciate the above and beyond care and I recommend her to anyone who has kitties!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped take care of our family dogs since I was a little kid. I’ve also helped care for a few friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I work full time at chick fil a 5 days a week. I usually work mid shifts like 7-4, 8-5, 11-5 about 4 days a week and I always do some type of activity with my dog before I leave as well as feeding and letting him out. After I am always down to having fun with the pups! I have a fenced in backyard with one very playful, sweet pup who wants to be friends with every animal he meets! He’s very energetic so we are always going to the nearest park (which is basically right behind my house) or on a walk or playing in the yard! “We are 100% pleased/satisfied with Megan’s care of Dude. He weighs 100 lbs and will jump on people and get mouthy when he meets some people. He eventually calms down, but depending upon the person it can take awhile. Megan quickly got him under control. She was loving and was able to get him follow her commands. She happily came to meet him before her stay with him and easily walked him. We were very comfortable with him in her care. In addition she is a wonderful human being who is actively involved in her community. I enjoyed meeting and talking with her.”
